A "what if" series for LN2.
Mono and Six "betray" each other in a time loop, they both make the same mistakes over and over, identically, but it was cool to see what could happen if Thinman took Mono.

THEORY IDEA:
Every children turns into monster its all about the stuff is favorited & collected:
- Six = Music Box
- Mono = TVs, Hats, and every glitch remain
- Runaway Kid = Nomes & Bottle of floatsams
- Raincoat Girl = Every stuff in the nest including pictures of The Pretender, Scarf Boy, and Jack in the boxes.

I love how instead of it being Six, its Mono. It kind of makes sense, because Six is a bit more experienced than Mono. Because she was in the first one, and Mono was only in the Second. Six being in both

I can understand why you didn't just kill Mono. Six wanted to save him. That was the reason to go there. If he died and Six did not, then nothing would change. Only sensations. If it was Six who died, it would probably make more sense, because this is self-sacrifice for the sake of Mono, but it doesn’t matter. Mono returned only to not spoil the ending.
But still, the ending of the original Little Nightmares II struck me so much that I changed my mind about our society. I didn't want to believe that it had to end like this. I love bad endings, but this is more than just a bad ending. I felt like I needed to see another variation of the ending, an "alternative" one, so to speak. That's how I came across your channel. I decided to do something that I would never do. I dislike myself even more after what I did. I started reading fanfiction. I found a couple of long and good works there, some of which are the best I've ever seen, but it didn't feel like it helped. Even vice versa. Everything just got worse. I tried to comfort myself by making up stories myself, but that didn't help either. When I hear Mono's named Six theme in the credits, I want to cry, I'm not joking.
I feel the same, more or less. It's as if I needed another ending, as if I had Six's hunger for something more than this cold heartbreak. I have never had any work of fiction make such an impact on myself except for this one game. I've been trying to find alternative endings for ages, but they never seemed to be it, either. Even tried to write one. I guess this will remain an open void in my heart for quite a long time. I understand what you mean.

I really liked your alternative story. The animation of Six's face was beautiful. I know this is the ending everyone yearns for and I would be more than happy if this was the actual one, but it wouldn't be a Nightmare for anyone. As I see the theme of the first game was "becoming a monster along the way out"(/"losing yourself" in some way). As for the second game I think it was "betrayal by someone you trust/risked everything for (and seemingly without any actual reason)". Actually I haven't seen any answer about Six's behavior at the end what I would accept fully. There are a lot of theories, but most of them lacks evidence or just shattered by her slow-walking to the exit.
I really hope they won't mess up Little Nightmares III... It wouldn't feel part of the series if it gets a happy ending. But at least we can make sure the other child won't betray us again because it can be controlled by a second player, so they need to find other ways to inflict trauma on this community.
