This started out as the cutest horror game ever, then it evolved to something not so cute. The visuals, and art direction of this is really incredible. This is layered really nicely.

Rod the Guy I know right? I can't watch these let's players do this game, there's too much ambience that needs to be noticed to really get into it. It takes me out way too quickly when someone starts talking to a fucking roll of toilet paper, trying to make jokes. Not to mention, all of their obnoxious screeching and yelling.
At long last an actual walktrough, people seem to not know the difference between a lets play and a walktrough, a walktrough is when you havew already beaten the game, or know beforehand what to do, and so you walk people trough it, there is no discovery, no going in circles wasting people time.

I gave up and found this video instead. Although I do remember watching some old videos on this channel and it really annoyed me how they tried to make everything look cinematic instead of playing the goddamn game

So I'm rewatching this and I realized something. At about 21:00 when 6 eats the rat and gets caught you can hear childish humming of the exact same song the Mistress humms just on a faster tempo.
You made that arms under the door part about half way through look way too easy! It took me Atleast 60 tries and multiple videos to finally get it. Yours helped the most. Thank you.
it is easy once you figure it out. stand on the corner of one of the tiles (neither arm reach you) run to janitors right side and pull the first bar straight back. run back to corner, run to the janitors left side (not too far, it’s hard to tell) and pull it up. I never understood why it sometimes took too long to pull them until i realized this

Six is definitely not 6 inches tall because if you saw the gameplays, she is already shorter than the tables, chairs, pots, or any objects that you see in a game. Not to mention, she can fit inside a rat hole, so it's obvious she is definitely as small as a mole rat or something.

I agree. It's really great they rely on a lot of other things such as visual horror and colour scheme and maybe even making the bosses within the game less humanised(I guess?) by not giving them actual dialogue. On top of that it's easy to immerse your self (which is all I myself need to be scared while playing a game) and the art style is great.

The plot:(theory by RICE-BITS) A girl named Six sneaks on to the island Maw(in a briefcase) to try to find a woman in the beginning. Rumor is the woman has something Sic believes would end her hunger. Reason being the hunger is slowly killing her.(The reason the guy hung himself in the beginning. Knowing his fate dying from hunger with no way back.) Six knowing this rumor heads to Maw, Her hunger problems get much worse, along the way Six consumes and consumes because of her hunger, slowly becomes worse in what she eats, going from the person offering her food to the woman. Knowing how the mirror works Six eats the woman (death) when her hunger comes back. As to avoid death. The woman (death) has been inviting people to her island to stay and eat. Little did people know, they were eating people. The woman would feed these people and consume their life force. Use their bodies as meat and feed. Little did Six know the consequences. She never needs to eat again, but, she could never be around people again. She became the new death. Being stuck on the island with no way back. The fat people(the endless eaters)represents hunger and greed(both greed and gluttony). Eating and eating but never satisfied. Death was ridding the world of these greeds. While Six was trying to gain power she did not understand. Thus ending Deaths cycle, Six becomes Death herself in an attempt to save herself. It's not just the fat people, remember the skinny guy in the beginning who hung himself? He knew Death was coming.
This is just a theory. Six (the girl in the yellow coat) is captured and put on The Maw, where she is to be killed and served to the guests that visit The Maw to dine. But unlike the other children, Six possesses a certain level of intelligence and uses this to help her escape. There is some evidence to suggest that Six is possibly The Lady's daughter. The Lady is very self critical of her own beauty, and smashes all the mirrors on The Maw so that she can't look at herself. After realising that Six is more beautiful than her, she forces her to wear a raincoat that hides her face. The Lady also wears a mask so that no one can criticise her looks. Six then supposedly runs away, only to be captured and put with the other children to be turned into food. The Guests appear to be representing the upper class of this universe, while the children, like Six, are represented as meat or rodents or simply something that doesn't deserve recognition or sentimentality if it's killed. The Guests may be pigs, but that doesn't make Six any better. Her world is a cruel one. In her world it's survival of the fittest. Food is scarce and very appreciated. When that Gnome offered her the sausage, she didn't take it simply because she didn't want it, the bigger and better food was right there in front of her. In Six's world there are no friends or family, if there's food much better and larger than the occasional scrap of bread or sausage, you *have* to eat it. After inheriting The Lady's powers, Six heads out of The Maw. As she does, she consumes the souls of the guests, fulfilling her hunger that she has loathed. It's theorised that The Lady also did this to retain her own hunger. At the end screen "thanks for playing" a boat can be heard in the distance. Whether Six decided to go on a killing spree using her new found powers is unknown and remains a mystery.

13:12 - I wonder if Six remembered Mono after looking above at the hanging body considering the fact that she figured that Mono is indeed the Thin man after she takes a close look in the ending of LN 2. As always SHN plays are different from others. Just sharing my thought after remembering her last moments with Mono from LN 2 so don't hate me for this and I'm talking about other members incase they did read my comment. Ofcourse we all know that can't be Mono but like I said, just sharing my thoughts. We can't be banned from sharing our thoughts, are we?
I don't know, this is s crazy and quite stereotypical theory, but I'll say anyways. Six is just a mentally ill girl called Veronica, traveling on the ship with dozens of other children. Maybe the ship picks up orphans, to take them away from the war or protect them from hostile environment. Veronica decided to call herself Six and often scared other children, which resemble Knomes, with her strange and sometimes aggressive behavior. Lady (who's actually an orphanage hostess) kept her separatly from other children to prevent any harm from her. But once Roger (the Janitor) accidentally left the door open during the cleaning time, and Veronica escaped. She started to make her way out of her prison, harming everyone on her way. Roger lost his arms, trying to return her to her room, a kid, who tried to befriend Veronica, was eaten alive, the hostess was smashed with a mirror and then was eaten, the only one who left unharmed were twins(cooks), who were too strong for Veronica to take care of. In the end, Veronica escapes, killing all adults on the ship. What the heck am I thinking about?
I mean, unfortunately, I don't think this theory holds up when you remember the _entire second game._ Don't get me wrong, it would actually be a pretty decent theory, especially because it actually fits with the game's symbolism (I.e., a lot of the things here are extra scary and huge because it's how a scared child imagines it). But the thing is, Little Nightmares 2 reveals that this game's universe ACTUALLY IS as twisted as Six perceives it to be (Mono experiences it with her). This isn't some hallucination or whatnot, it really is the world's reality. Although, I _DO_ like the idea that there might be a few genuinely kind adults somewhere in this game's world. I'm aware that it's the norm for adults to be messed-up abominations in the game's lore, but I'd actually like a Little Nightmares DLC or comic or something about some child characters actually running into an adult who is sincerely kind to children instead of trying to kill them. Like your version of The Lady. Think like Roald Dahl's "The Big Friendly Giant", but in Little Nightmares' world of creepiness.
I wonder why the child in the raincoat doesn't try to help the other captured animals/people whatever they are. It would be a good distraction from their escape if anything. I mean if the other things really sucked at survival, i dunno

This is like watching someone's actual nightmare as they sleep! This game deserved to be two to three times longer with more monsters though...

I don't know, this is s crazy and quite stereotypical theory, but I'll say anyways.
Six is just a mentally ill girl called Veronica, traveling on the ship with dozens of other children. Maybe the ship picks up orphans, to take them away from the war or protect them from hostile environment.
Veronica decided to call herself Six and often scared other children, which resemble Knomes, with her strange and sometimes aggressive behavior. Lady (who's actually an orphanage hostess) kept her separatly from other children to prevent any harm from her. But once Roger (the Janitor) accidentally left the door open during the cleaning time, and Veronica escaped. She started to make her way out of her prison, harming everyone on her way. Roger lost his arms, trying to return her to her room, a kid, who tried to befriend Veronica, was eaten alive, the hostess was smashed with a mirror and then was eaten, the only one who left unharmed were twins(cooks), who were too strong for Veronica to take care of. In the end, Veronica escapes, killing all adults on the ship.
What the heck am I thinking about?
I mean, unfortunately, I don't think this theory holds up when you remember the _entire second game._ Don't get me wrong, it would actually be a pretty decent theory, especially because it actually fits with the game's symbolism (I.e., a lot of the things here are extra scary and huge because it's how a scared child imagines it). But the thing is, Little Nightmares 2 reveals that this game's universe ACTUALLY IS as twisted as Six perceives it to be (Mono experiences it with her). This isn't some hallucination or whatnot, it really is the world's reality.
Although, I _DO_ like the idea that there might be a few genuinely kind adults somewhere in this game's world. I'm aware that it's the norm for adults to be messed-up abominations in the game's lore, but I'd actually like a Little Nightmares DLC or comic or something about some child characters actually running into an adult who is sincerely kind to children instead of trying to kill them. Like your version of The Lady. Think like Roald Dahl's "The Big Friendly Giant", but in Little Nightmares' world of creepiness.

Just finished the game and I'm just thinking.....WHYYYYYYY YOU ATE HIM???? like there's literally a tons of food in front of you and you choose that cute little thing :(. And the same thing for those nasty creatures they are in the middle of dinner and still trying to eat her.
You eat him because you gain the knowledge of how to defeat the Lady. The nome Six ate was the Runaway boy trying to help her escape.
