@@danielsoosay1772 aw yeah, it didn't exactly clean up, but let's be real they're never going to give the top award to a Japanese brand unless there's absolutely nothing else even close that year.
Damn... I'm the type who can only dream of holding a magnificent watch like this in my hands. I just wish I had a chance to see this masterpiece with my own eyes. Only 20 pieces made...it feels like there's no chance to own such a work of art. The video quality is really nice.
I think it was the bank manager's cup of tea that was dropped when they revealed the price. I wonder if one of my kidneys will ever be worth enough to get one of these!
I'm looking forward to enjoying the smugness of GRANDE SEIKO ownernership, with the knowledge you own something superior to most other luxury brands at a lower price point.
So now that I can afford most luxury watches, how much will this cost? Let’s say I want to take the jump and buy something beautiful like this, will it be $20,000? $40,000?
No you cant. The single fact that you have to ask and you fail by a whole order of magnitude it shows how far you are from it. Also with only 20 of them released you can have all the money in the world and still wont get one unless you are buying it on secondary market.
I appreciate the engineering in this watch, absolutely incredible. But I find this style of watch so polarising. It's objectively an ugly watch and all about the overly skeletonised mechanism. It's a statement "look at me" type of watch...I'm not sure where you'd wear this watch with? It would look absolutely awful on a rubber strap 😂 I guess people that are buying this watch wouldn't actually wear this very much, it's ultimately going to end up in a safe and eventually a museum. I know there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but meh.
@@GrubblandeGrapplern if you look at this watch through the lens of the universal principles of design/design theory then it is an objectively disproportioned and confusing. I do like the muted colour palette and choice of CMF in general. But the screams "because we could" IMO. I do take your point though, it's all opinion based, but the ID on this watch is far too overblown and saturated...maybe that's the point and I'm the only person in the room that doesn't get it ? 😂
@@m.e.p.r You definitely don’t get it. The whole point of this watch is the mechanism, it is the star of the show. And compared to most skeleton watches, this one is surely on the more subtle side. It has a symmetry and the proportions are great, if you compare it to other watches with tourbillons, which are generally chunky. It’s not that readable, but telling the time is not the purpose of watches like this. The craftsmanship here is most important.
@@m.e.p.r if I owned this watch (what am I saying?! 😂) I'd be buying it for that movement, and I'd want to see that movement in all its stunning, beautiful glory. And I would wear the hell out of that watch, all my others would just gather dust
All that for a watch that still has only COSC specs, and without a seconds hand to be able to verify that. Does is come with a time grapher? Hard pass on this one.
Not only does it have a seconds hand, but one that ticks once every second, a complication on it's own, also since you clearly haven't listened carefully, it is able to hold that accuracy thru the whole wind, from full to almost empty (because of the constant force complication) Most watches no matter what standard they meet are accurate when 3/4 full, while going under starts to affect the accuracy. I wish more manufacturers made constant force a common complication, as it would make a world of difference in accuracy, with or without a tourbillon
@@watchgeek5588 Ok, I didn’t notice the jewel on the tourbillon serving as a seconds hand. There’s so much going on on that dial that I was looking elsewhere, I guess. Secondly, I did listen carefully, and basically, I don’t care. Any base grade SW200 can be regulated to 1spd. What do I care about accuracy through the whole wind?

Putting an 100m depth rating on this watch is one of the most hilarious flexes I've seen in watchmaking ever. Kudos for that, GS.

Kodos for that.

Amazing ! trying to decide which watch ill be dropping hard cash on in the future.
I love your work Seiko.
An absolutely draw dropping beauty

I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of gussl. Their timepieces are of exceptional quality.
The sense of depth is the highlight.
This is a watch i want. what is rolex any more.
It's a good thing that you saved the price for last.
Gorgeous Watch 😍
had the chance to order this, but I have no money to purchase it.
Not sure if joking but I'm sure a lot of people would have paid a significant ammount for that order alone.
Interesting hm this will go in the secondary market. Will it reach 7 fig.?
There is only 20 of these in the world. If they don't make these anymore in future, it will touch 7 fig
Stunning 😍
