Nice bunch of videos you've got, I purchased an 09 plate Zaffy the other day and I have the exact same issue on the exact same door, following this video, I'm going to check mine out tomorrow and attempt a temporary repair and then look at the wiring kit :D keep up the good work
Thanks so much for the feedback, it means a lot. You can buy the wiring loom on eBay, which comes with everything you need. Definitely worth getting one of them.
I had the same problem on the same door, but on mine it wouldn't unlock. Again, all down to snapped wires. Fixed now, but with a new lock too, as the old one had to be forced open. e-bay around £45.00

No nothing on that door, all the wires were completely perished. That’s what made me aware, the sound changed, it was a lot quieter, when locking and unlocking the car. Then one of my kids opened the door, before I’d unlocked the car.

Bad design, I always felt Vauxhall should be fixing them on warranty.
