I’m an old school midi programming guy and mostly with hardware synths and drum machines, not used to this easy way of preset loops of percussion etc. In my way I think is quite a lazy and less creative approach on music production. But I’m fine most tracks today are produced this way. Try programming a whole percussions section, hi hats, etc, with a lot of groove, the way I use to do and you’ll see how much difficult and time consuming it is.
