- Well that’s another awesome event in the books! I didn’t record everything I had hoped to, but I did get a few runs documented. I was having too much fun enjoying the experience to worry about pressing record and getting good angles. Regardless, it was an absolute blast! The General was definitely the attention grabber of the weekend. The wrecker conquered a few trails and survived. The only casualty was the wraith in the creek… it twisted up the front driveshaft, so no biggie. I want to say thanks to all of you who came up to say hey and check out the General. I really appreciate the support and recognition, thank you! Now it’s time to look forward to the next event and start preparing for Axialfest Badlands! Hope to see y’all there! Thanks for watching.

Thanks. I think the barn was the only “full run” that I actually recorded. There’s plenty of time to get the camera out with all the stop and go traffic in there.
the general looks great and I have to say you are quick with that 4WS! the Capra was killing it, great driving.

Yea, I started out building my wrecker wanting to do a Cooter build, but those driver figures can get pretty dang expensive, so I just went a different direction for the wrecker. One of these days I may still attempt to build Cooter’s truck.

Hi mate awesome video just out of interest what wheelbase is the general body?
I honestly don’t remember what it measured out to originally. It came off of a Kyosho Fazer mk2, then I cut the fenders out to run it on a Basecamp and then I had to trim even more to fit the longer wheelbase of this Ecto chassis. So it’s been hacked up a couple times since its original form. However, if ya look up Kyosho Fazer mk2, I’m sure you’ll be able to get all the info you’re looking for. They have some awesome looking bodies on that particular platform!

Yea, good ole boys across the whole country and even across the world is why it’s so relatable. Who doesn’t like seeing an orange muscle car slinging dirt while sliding around corners and jumping over creeks and train tracks and whatnot.
