I'm talking about the clarity, the brevity and the camerawork. the only thing i would now recommend, is a wide shot at the end of each turn. it helps the viewer get a sense of scale and distance. wonderful battle reports.
This channel is easily the best channel for MESBG. I’ve yet to play a single game (currently backlogged on painting my Warhammer armies) but these battle reports are just spectacular! I’ve got plans to build a Moria army as my first and I can’t wait to get into it
Love the battle rep and the channel! Still fantastic. Watching Haldir do the heroic combat then pushing a model in base contact with an enemy out of the way to get into combat hurt me a lot emotionally though XD
Thought Jacob was going to steamroll this. Would love to see a small box camera setup with each player's dice box so we can see rolls a little easier. Always a great report and phenomenal quality.
I feel Seans Pain, its just no fun dying even if you get the draw. But man those Elves stood up to that Troll nicely. Shout out to Orophin, love that model.

Thank mate, I am a big fan of what I figured out for the armour. Its a gunmetal silver, followed by a brown ink then highlighted with a bright silver. The exact paints that I use are Gunmetal, Smokey Ink, and Silver all from Vallejo
PLAY THE OBJECTIVES! Moria won that game because they put everything into holding the center of the board, even if that put them at a gross disadvantage in the fighting. Doesn't matter how bad your losses are if you accomplish the mission.
I've been keen to build a Moria army for a while. At what points level would you recommend taking a drum? Also which goblin drum is better in your opinion?
Completely depends on how you wanna play. Normal drum is the safe option cause you can play it with only one guy and any goblin can take it up, while the Blackshield is more mobile but needs at least one or two blackshields to be on the safe side. Both do pair very well with hordes and terror, thus lending themselves to more classic lists, but moria is such a wild army. You can start using the drum effectively at 450, but more points go a long way in making the most of that 12/18" Banner
OMG Never ever see the whole battlefield so have no context of what the hell is ever happening. Least there's some elves on the board, I guess... yay? Going to need more than just zoomed in shakey cam of heroes going forward.
Thanks for the comment, when you use the Rend Brutal Power Attack you don't receive any bonuses from your wargear or anything else like trapping your opponent
Wait can you deploy multiple warbands in 1 turn? Im fairly inexperienced with maelstrom rules so I might have things wrong, but I thought that you rolled for priority, then the winner deployed 1 warband and then the other player deployed his, then in turn 2 you roll for priority, move the units on the field and at the end of the move phase you both roll for 1 more warband, deploy them and so on

Playing into that narrow choke point favoured the elves. Moria couldn’t use their higher model count to swarm and trap

In Maelstrom, the warbands enter at the end of your movement phase, so it's all at the same time during your turn
