good to see ya'll, definitely been a minute since I saw TH-cam throw you guys on the home page but was excited to see it. From the time I started watching you guys wayyyy back in the day and even started my own channel in the meantime, so much has changed. I know the things your talking about with making content and cars in general, combine that with life and family it becomes a lot. So good on you guys for taking the time to get things in order and welcome back!
Thank you it’s been very long but it’s time to come back better. That’s awesome to hear, I just subscribed. Hope all is well and keep pushing for what you want brother
@@StaticGarageUSA wow thank you, really appreciate that! Hopefully you're ok with Benz stuff ;) Watched the whole video, you guys got some good stuff otw for sure and was the same good vibes as always. The lift is an absolute game changer!
Totally agree! It’s hard to record when people are expecting specific things to watch in the video. It’s also very distracting in my opinion, personally I jump into many different things at once which doesn’t make sense for a video. That’s why I stopped. No fun.
Yeah setting up a format for a video is difficult at times and also just trying to find your niche. You want to do things you love and make content about it but also have to be aware of your subscriber base and what they want to see. The way I see it is do what you love but also don’t forget about what type of content people who support you want to see and have a nice blend of both :)
@@StaticGarageUSA haha I think I’m better at reels than full length videos. But we’ll see. Seeing you guys back is motivating me to record again! Maybe when I pick up my car again I’ll make a video.
I’ll tell you one thing about BMW’s. Having owned an E39 M5, E36 M3, E90 M3, N55 DCT 135i (owned from 60k to 170k miles), now looking to get into an F90 M5, if you’re going FBO and don’t want to spin rod bearings or go through a motor, run thick oil, liqui moly anti friction additive, liqui moly fuel additive, you can get all of what I had mentioned at auto zone and you’ll be good, in each of my BMW's I’d run synthetic diesel oil and never had any issues, especially if you’re doing pulls on a day to day basis and beating the hell out of your car!
@@StaticGarageUSA especially in higher mileage models. I would say if you’re at 95k+ miles and are not aware of any maintenance history or have doubts, I would definitely do them to play it safe. At 160k miles (keep in mind I purchased with 60k miles from original owner) in my DCT N55 they had little to no wear, but like I said I’d run the Liqui Moly Anti Friction additive and Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil.
@@StaticGarageUSA yesssir!! im on a mental health journey myself right now i quit my terrible job and going to help my dad restore a crashed car and hope it gives me the spark i need to get a shop with some of the homies
Haha if you’re talking about the engine you’d be correct but comparing the chassis and driving experience the e46 reins king for sure. Definitely have some good ideas for more power later
He has a shop next door with Jeremiah. They have their own channel more oriented towards LS and drag platforms. But maybe he will make an appearance and pop in every now and then
