@@TheMeatballMen Didn't he hate the relentless touring and a few other aspects of being in TMV? Doubt he hated the music (not that your comment says this), given the amount of work he put in creating some of these grooves, specially on Frances the Mute that was the first album he composed fully with them and I read interviews saying he really enjoyed the dynamics of playing without hearing the rest. TMV seems like a important band in his career but I doubt much good stuff would come from such strained relationships, Omar and Cedric seem really hard to work with; and they regretted losing him as well

Man, people always got some random crap to hate on. These guys were and are great. Playing music for the music of it. That's what it's all about. You can see and hear the passion. R.I.P Volta. You were great in all your eras, and it was a wild ride. And in all your future endeavors, Bosnian Rainbows and whatever else, keep that passion. The right people will see it. Feel it.

well, if u listen to them live purely from the perspective of how close they sound to the studio records then it's a semi-fail, but when u look at the amount of the energy they put out and how much they enjoy being there at that exact moment then it's a totally different story, u gotta feel it in a way. no band in the world can do what they do live. if u only focus on somewhat bad Cedric's vocals and Omar not hitting the right notes every now and then, ur missing out on something very special.
