The reason for the "no-pictures" sign at the lake is probably because there will be so many people during the peak tourist season, and the railings at the lake are not very high, making it easy for people to fall into the lake due to pushing. This sign is a pre-warning and can be used when the crowd gathers too much, and it will have staff from the scenic spot to guide tourists in this place.
There are so many people in China's scenic spots during the peak season that you can't even imagine them, so extra safety measures are required, even if these measures seem unreasonable in the off-season.

Welcome to Xi'an! As a local, I cannot imagine you go to such rural areas like Cuihua Shan! Its also famous for its Quaternary glacial remains. The special terrains and broken rocks along the trails are due to the melt of the glacier. When you wanna buy hot water, actually the lady said they do offer hot tea in teapot. They can also help you to warm up the bottle tea drinks :)

If you come to the east of China such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, especially in south of Jiangsu Province, you will find the countryside in these areas has a perfect infrastructure. Almost all villages are connected by national and provincial roads. I lived in a village in the south of Jiangsu Province. The council has invested a lot of money in us to build convenient facilities, including hospitals, schools, parks, and even a big shopping square. Actually I am living in the UK and I've been to a lot of places in Europe but I can't really find any better infrastructure than my home village.❤❤❤

    Greetings from Singapore 🇸🇬
Ken, the video in rural China was very interesting and fascinating. The scenery’s was breathtaking and the people was so warm and friendly. The rabbit and the vegetables you ate made my mouth water 💦 and I was imagining that I was there too because your video made everyone connect to you as though we were there. Your friend was also very friendly and bubbly but the lady was a bit shy but a nice person. I am so glad you enjoyed yourself tremendously and also we did so. The local guy was super nice to drive all of you back to your hotel and I believe it is his kind nature and God bless him richly. People have warned you not to visit rural China, and you can prove them wrong. The videos I watched in rural China showed me that they are the kindest, humble and accommodative people I have ever seen. Thanks Ken for the amazing videos and am looking forward for more. Stay happy and healthy as we live in the moment.🥰💐🦋🎏🌈

@@KenAbroad Next time let the Chinese person speaks into your mobile to translate what she said from Mandarin to English and there won't be any miscommunication. I don't see the point of speaking to them in English when it's obvious they won't understand you, only giving perplexed look. They, on the other hand, may think you are one of those foreigners working in China and so may speak some Mandarin and it's indeed true of those foreigners studying or working there, some of them can speak Mandarin very well. So as a non-Mandarin speaking tourist, the first thing you might want to do is whip out your mobile and launch the trans app.

Steve writing Chinese was incredible!!! I could 100% read it. The rabbit meat is definitely a delicacy... Cuihuashan is a pretty big tourist attraction, so like other Chinese tourist attractions, it has good signage and translations.
At 23:55, when Steve said delicious, she said "(if you think it's delicious) then eat more!" It's a typical Chinese phrase!

Especially the city Dali and the Lijiang ancient city, both of them are famous as tourist cities. Yun Nan is also called the capital of Spring in China, the scenery is pretty beautiful there. If you come to China in the summer, I would recommend the Xinjiang province. The fruits there are really nice and sweet, especially the grapes and melons.
