I went to book a trip and all boats(besides private ones) were booked, I got lucky 1 boat had 2 free days and one landed on my day off from work, otherwise I was gonna miss Tog season.
First time viewing one of your videos. I totally enjoyed it and found it very instructional. Please continue filming on party boats. I live in NJ and will most likely go on the Norma K. One question. Would that rod and reel combo be good for fluke as well Thank you
I passed you guys Wednesday on our way to a seafood restaurant and I could see the boat from my window seat while I had lunch. I wanted to stop and check things out. I you could see how a big tog eats it comes over eyeballs the offering and suddenly inhales crushes the bait and immediately spits it out then eats the floating bits so I’d say if you could set the hook half a second before you feel that thump.but luck is good too.tight lines you old salts teach the young ones if any fish are left,go get some Asian crabs.

Yup, tog season is right around the corner. Our peak season goes from October through December. Bag limit of 5, minimum size 16".
