This is culinary history. You won't find this in the New York Times. Thank you both of you!

This video brought me back in time! I could smell everything you'd made...the gravy (sorry Mary Ann😉)...I could smell the frying of the meatballs...even the tomato salad! I have to admit, not a lamb girl.
I am 100% Italian descent (2nd gen). My grandparents come from Naples (father's side) and my mother's side is from Abruzzi and Foggia. Every Sunday we had macaroni w/salad and bread. My mother did meatballs, sausage and chunks of browned pork tenderloin. Sometimes braciole, too.
My mom just passed this past Sept. @ just under 98 yrs old. I am so glad she taught me her recipes. It's hard for me to cook with R.A. but you two ladies have inspired me so, since we are on the verge of a Nor'easter here, in NY, I am gonna do my best! Thanks for this video!!!😋 ~Juliette in NY

@@HungryLive 😁👍 Will do! I have one 24 yr old son...I am passing those recipes on to him! I want my mother's recipes to continue on to his children (when he has some). He is a natural in the kitchen! Next recipe will be calzones. My mother made her own dough and stuffed with ricotta/mozz and a sprinkle of black pepper. Then she fried her calzones rather than baking them. Delish!😋
Thanks for your reply! Love Mary Ann's recipes...I even watch her on 📺
      Ciao from NY!

Agree with you, Marianne it’s Succo de Pomodoro, and not gravy.

This Renee is the type of Italian American that gives the rest of us a bad name. If you got Mary Ann Esposito in your house you don't act like that. Scusta mad.

I always watch Mary Ann love & her cooking since forever. Unfortunately this episode soon as l saw her guest debating in a aggressive way, did not like her attitude, l stop watching.

You are so right, plus this lady is part of the mafia...I can't believe Mary Ann would have a mob wife on her show! She should know better

Not surprised. You seem to find the negative in many things. You are the same person that commented with negativity on one of our favorite channels.....Every Day Is Saturday.Someone reposted your comment in our community forum. We love their channel and they do so much to help our community. Shame on you.

I will continue to pray for you and whatever issues you have that have caused you to harbor so much rudeness towards others.
