@@tishaw.8254 It was a left-wing activist judge who set Hurricane Carter free based on an arbitrary whim. The lunatic judge erroneously decided that the first two trials had been "racist," and he set Hurricane loose, largely based on the opinion he got by being influenced from celebrities including Muhammad Ali and Bob Dylan. There's a lot of evidence that they were guilty. Eyewitnesses who passed lie detector tests. The facts of the case are open and shut. Hurricane Carter and Artis didn't have matching stories when questioned by police hours after the shootings. They took lie tests, which they both flunked. On top of that, the pistol bullets used were an odd caliber.. .32ACP caliber pistol bullets. Not even a top ten caliber pistol bullet at the time of the shooting. Quite unusual caliber. Yet, Hurricane had been known to have owned a similar pistol and shotgun as used in the shootings. He had claimed his guns had been stolen about a week before the shootings. It's not a believable story. On top of that, they were driving the getaway car, the White Dodge Polara seen speeding away from the murder by four different eyewitnesses. In the Dodge Polara, police found. 32 caliber pistol bullets strewn all over the floor of their vehicle. In the trunk, underneath some of Hurricane's boxing gear, they found unspent shotgun shells. The exact same types of bullets used in the triple homicide. That's just some of the evidence against them. Hurricane Carter claimed in an interview years after he was set free that there were no dead bodies. That police faked three dead bodies just to frame him. You have to be a cultural Marxist hard-left activist type to actually think they might have been innocent. Celebrities who take up a murderer as a cause have a terrible track record. Every time celebrities come in after a conviction and claim it is an unfair case, those celebrities are always being manipulated. It was a case where Black men killed white victims. For whatever reason, those specific cases always get a lot of people supporting the killer and demanding he be set free. Check the record of cases. When a Black man murders white victims, there is always a "justice for them" campaign on the left. These campaigns have varying levels of success. Sometimes, they get killers set loose. Sometimes, they save killers from being put to death. If a Black man murders Black victims, nobody supports them. But if the killer is Black and the victims are white, the killer will automatically start out with millions of left-wing activists who support his cause.
@@tishaw.8254 The same reason why left-wing activists support Hamas terrorists and remember Bin Laden fondly is the exact same reason they support guilty killers like Hurricane Carter. He beat a bail bonds woman half to death. Her son found her and saved her life. Hurricane almost murdered her. It was between his 1st and 2nd trials. She survived and refused to press charges. Back then, it meant police didn't pursue it any further than that. Do you know why he beat that Black bail bond woman who was helping him? This movie, the express, and just mercy where the white man changed the game and you didn't even see it coming!
Good movie
very disgusting and sick that those who got innocent men locked up for half of their young lives in their prime got to walk free without punishment. the cops, jury and "witnesses" should have been arrested for lying under oath and setting innocent black men up for a crime they didn't commit.
They gonna burn in hell.
He was most likely guilty. The movie was all bs.
The victims of Ruben Carter's murders literally petitioned the Academy and made damn sure this schlockfest didn't win any awards.
It's disgusting that a bunch of gullible leftists worked so hard to get a homicidal sociopath loose on the streets. That's what the innocence project does. 99% of the cases they work on are guilty killers who are willing to say, "I didn't do nuffin!"
The physical evidence and eyewitness testimony against Hurricane and Artis was absolutely damming. That's why African American jurors found them both guilty in the retrial. The retrial went worse for Hurricane than the original trial did. The evidence against them was iron clad. It was an open and shut case because of how much physical evidence there was linking them to the murders.
Epic ♥️
Man that man played the hell out of this part.there's three movies where a white man absolutely shocks you because you can't tell whether they're racist or not but doing the right thing trumps everything, even racism. The Express, hurricane, and just mercy.
He wasn't innocent btw .

And rightly so
IN THE END THE HURRICANE CARTER WON HIS LAST FIGHT AGAINST THE USA COURT BY UNANIMOUS DESICION, HAVING ALL AGAINST HIM, KEEPING AN IRON WILL & A STRONG DETERMINATION LIKE NOBODY HAVE IT.

@@shaunryan6646 of course i'm not, that was only a comment, "genius"...
@@wolfenix The victims of Ruben Carter's murders literally petitioned the Academy and made damn sure this schlockfest didn't win any awards. Adulating killers is a sickness on the left. Democrats always support the criminals and never the victims.
Good Judge.
That judge literally had to resign in shame a few years after this. He was famous for being soft-on-crime and a liberal activist from the bench. That's the opposite of a good judge.
This was a Jimmy Carter/ Bill Clinton appointed judge. What if some Trump judge set Dylann Roof free and claimed Roof didn't get a fair trial? Would Hollywood make a movie about how Dylann Roof was framed? Hurricane's crime is very comparable to Dylann Roof's. Only the skin color is reversed.
@@CoolhandLukeSkywalkr can we not have one thing?
@@Wesleech Guilty murderers get let loose by insane activist far left judges far too often in this country. Hurricane shouldn't have done the crime if he didn't want to go to prison. He did a hate crime against white people. Should some judge set Dylann Roof free because he arbitrarily decides that Dylann's trial wasn't fair enough to Dylann? It's absurd.
@@Wesleech Those who support Hurricane Carter must also support Dylann Roof. Otherwise, you're just hypocritical. Either you support thrill killing based on race, aka hate crime murder, or else you don't. You support murder of random white people, but you complain when it happens to your race. You're a sick man.
What is the song playing in the background? Anybody know?

Huben Carter
Since , as someone said , he was " guilty as Cain when murdered Abel " , why was he acquitted of his crimes?

Hurricane murdered people in a hate crime. Letting guilty killers loose because of a general belief in some sort of far-left cause is just about the stupidist thing democrats do.
Ero anni che nn lo rivedevo.
….and some time after he was released, he beat the living crap out of a woman - but funnily enough they don't show that in the movie.
Didnt knew that one....
@@CAZADOR7471 lie
@@CAZADOR7471 He beat up Muhammad Ali's friend, who helped him get a retrial. A black lady who was a bail bond lady. Between his 1st and 2nd trial. She even saw evidence that Hurricane was guilty of the murders. She caught him in a series of lies about the killings. She had asked him to help chip in for his hotel room bill, and that's why he physically attacked her. He beat her so badly that her son found her in a pool of blood. She refused to press charges because she was terrified.

So , who was the real culprit instead of poor Rubin Carter and John Artis?
Nobody knows, they’ve never been pursued. The only people who do know are dead.
