Eyes are feeling heavy but they never seem to close The fan blades on the ceiling spin but the air is never cold And even though you are next to me I still feel so alone I just can't give you anything for you to call your own And I can feel you breathing And it's keeping me awake Can you feel it beating? My heart's sinking like a weight Something I've been keeping locked away behind my lips I can feel it breaking free with each and every kiss I couldn't bear to hurt you but it's all so different now Things that I was sure of, they have filled me up with doubt And I can feel you breathing And it's keeping me awake Can you feel it beating? My heart's sinking like a weight I can feel you breathing It's keeping me awake Could you stop my heart? It's always beating. Sinking like a weight How am I supposed to feel about the things I've done? I don't know if I should stay or turn around and run I know that I hurt you, things will never be the same The only love I ever knew, I threw it all away And I can feel you breathing And it's keeping me awake Can you feel it beating? My heart's sinking like a weight I can feel you breathing It's keeping me awake Could you stop my heart? It's always beating. Sinking like a weight
i found out this song on burnout 3 and flatout 2. after that yellowcard became one of my favourite groups. and today i'm listening to this new acoustic edition that is givin a good sprinkling to the past...
It's not compressed to death. This is his voice. Compression does all sorts of things to sounds, skews them and warps them... The end result is something entirely different than what it actually is.
Not to put a damper on you, but this is a BAND, not a group. If you want a group, go to one direction, but they really do not sound good in any way. I got to go see yellowcard at the house of blues, they were awesome. Sean gave me the playlist, a water bottle, and taped to the playlist was a guitar pick. BEST B-DAY PRESENT EVER!
just when i thought yellowcard couldn't blow me away more than they already have, they do this and i'm sitting here crying because they are just the most beautiful sounding fucking band and no band's music affects me the way theirs does. jesus christ, they are the most incredible group of musicians. ugh.
Like how 90% of the edit comments fail to realise it's different to sing acousticly as compared to electric or live. You can sing much less loud, thus your voice sounds different. Also, there's a reverb popfilter and that's about it
Uh, this is pretty much his voice. Studio or live, this is what he sounds like. Ryan has never been much of a "raw and gritty" singer. If you want raw and gritty, I recommend metal or something like that. Corey Taylor has that sort of feel when he does acoustics from Stone Sour. Check out live versions of "Through the Glass", it might be what you're looking for but no reason to hate on Yellowcard vids. We're all too nice to feed trolls here. :)
I've been listing to yellowcard for year, and have seen them live somewhere around 15-20 times. You can hear it clearly that this has tons of editing and filters. You're right, it is his voice... Put through tons of filters and editing. This album is over produced and falls short of what a great acoustic album is.
In no relation to music at all yeah I think they would shoot you to death for driving around like that, they is you that is behind behind manual operation .precinct. so you want to claim a virtual reality court case with me is that it!? I don't think you care enough surcemstancial evidence ok then you win just keep your grubby paws of the panic buttons and have some patience so when one plumits they all fall 1/3
Its cool but it's just an unplugged version of the original. Turn a song into acoustic is another thing. Different tempo, box instead of drums, voice adapted...this is not a real acoustic version its just a version with acoustic guitar instead of electric ones. They should listen to Sum 41 that did one cool acoustic of hell song or the different acoustic versions of blink 182 songs.

His voice sounds great, he's just annunciating more than he did on the original album.
They are so good live! Saw them at warped tour and got one of their guitar picks!
Amazing :D been one of my fav songs forever so hearing an acoustic is just amazing :)

Don't know if I think that the original version sounds pretty much the same or if its just because they are as good as each other - fucking ace!
old memories from Flat out 2

No way, this song has to be electric! It does sound good though. They should have done the b side"Hey Mike" acoustic instead of this acoustic.

What The fuck is up with ryans voice?
No, they are uploaded by their record label. That would be pointless.
