Im 43 yrs old,been listening to nfg ever since i seen their vid for my friends over you when it came out on mtv2 or kerrang and have always loved this band.i dont think ive heard this song before but the accoustic version is brilliant👍.sorry missed you guys when youse wer playing in ireland.they must be 1 of the hardest working bands out there.you can tell they still love doing what their doing and thats what makes them 1 of the best bands pop punk bands out there.

one of the few bands who have gotten better as they have gotten older. normally bands hit a point and change and go shit but they have grown and grown their sound too. loved these since day one all them years ago and still love them to day.

I just love how this band has survived and thrived through the years and kept evolving to the point where they’ll still be playing music till the day the sun goes black.
That Flippin Guy I would say they are exactly the same because they have been around for over 20 years now and you don’t just survive 2 decades without changing. Yes they are the same punk band they were 20 years ago, but some things have changed.
First that have altered their sound a few time, some different points in time I’d say would be 1999, 2004/2005, 2009, 2013, and now. Each era they have been doing some different for instance with there tuning in guitar going from standard, to half tuning, to now more open D Tuning. The other thing that makes me say they’ve evolved is how they write from each of those eras. Sure they may sing about love songs but listen to how each one resonates differently in tone: My Friends over you, Hit Or Miss, (This Song) Don’t Let Her Bring You Down, Vicious Love (Including The One With Hayley Williams), and even there cover of A Thousand Years. I like how they didn’t sell out of “change” but they have definitely evolved in my opinion.

Out of all the songs and all the albums, this is one of my top three favorite tracks. Such a killer tune and great lyrics.

I've been with a punk rock girl for 15 years. Things have gone up and down, and this hits home so hard. She has pulled me down so many times, and me her. Just know to all you little emo boys like me, that things can or can't work out. It's just how much you're willing to put into it. How much love and faith can you carry? How much pain can you endure, how much are you willing to? If you love them, do it!
Just saw NFG in Rochester, NY last night. They killed it. But I definitely would buy an acoustic album if they put one out. Still a fan 20+ years later. I wish they would play some more stuff from Nothing Gold Can Stay live though.

When I got in my car, I pulled it out to look at it (I bought it as a Christmas present). When I realized I had picked up the wrong CD, I was gonna turn around but it was snowing outside. So I said f*ck it and put the disc in the player. And that's that.
