This PotomacBeads tutorial will show you how to make brick stitch diamonds. This technique is used to make these adorable little diamond shaped earrings.
Using a size 12 needle, put a stop bead on about three feet of thread. Create a ladder stitch by adding two beads, bring the needle back around and through the first bead. Sew back through the second bead and add a third bead and back down the second bead. Then up through the third bead picking up a fourth bead and back down the third. Continue until you have six beads. This will be the center of the diamond.
Watch the How to Make Brick Stitch Diamond tutorial with Allie to see how she completes the pattern using the delica beads and czech crystal.
Add a wire guard to the top of the project. Weave the thread down to the starter thread tie them off and burn the ends. Add the earwire and you're done.

On the large diamond earring, did you start with a row of 13 ladder stitch, or still start with 6, then increase from there?? I enjoy watching your videos, and always pick up a tip or two.
