You're going to have to modify those old style 283 valve covers so they'll let that 350 breath otherwise its going to build pressure and blow oil out of the dipstick tube and possibly blow oil seals. Those valve covers were made for the old blocks that have a blow by tube behind the distributor.
@showmetrucks7113 yeah the 265, 283, and the 327 all had the breather cap on the oil fill tube on the front of the intake plus they all had the blow by tube on the back of the block between the intake and bell housing.

Yeah I just haven’t got that far yet. My old 327 had the breather in the intake I always liked that look. Thanks for looking out though
