Every time you see Amir suppress a laugh or a smile..... he's not breaking character. My theory is that at the end of Jake and Amir proper, Jake accepts amir's offer to dinner and they have a serious heart to heart. Jake admits that he loves working with Amir, and he'd love to find some creative outlet for their banter and hi-jinks and love for dialogue and rhyming. That's when it hits them like the bus that hit Amir's girlfriend; they could start a podcast, to which Amir replies "I'll do you one WORSE! An entire podcast NETWORK!" Although he used the word "worse" incorrectly, Jake refrains from arguing with Amir and realizes that that's a perfect idea. Amir, consistently shouting "HENRY" all the while, is flabbergasted to hear that Jake wants to work with him. However, Jake establishes the condition that Amir must go through intense psychological therapy. Amir, initially resistant, slowly accepts the condition once he realizes that Jake is really going to be with him every step of the way. Years pass, and Amir slowly begins to develop a normal social life not dependent on Jake, but still involving Jake. His diet is diversified. He takes up life-enriching hobbies not entirely consisting of masturbating in shrimp. He learns to have normal conversations. Most interestingly, he's learned to control and direct his typically self-destructive behavior into a form of humor that works very well on his new podcast "If I Were You"; the only advice podcast on the internet hosted by him and Jake. However..... a new intern is somehow miraculously hired despite his complete lack of basic common sense and understanding of any real world concept besides Yo-Yo's and vests. This intern.... this dumbass intern.... is gradually revitalizing the inner demons that once ran rampant in the mind of Amir. Every time they speak.... every encounter that they have.... Amir begins to enjoy the complete recklessness represented by Geoffrey. Amir has been trying very hard to suppress it. He'll talk down to Geoffrey and rationally break apart the flaws in his reasoning..... just like Jake used to do to him. But this only succeeds in bringing back memories of the times before Amir's therapy. Jake is not ignorant of this transformation. He has tried many methods to prevent Geoffrey from influencing Amir. He has berated him, casually dismissed him, and rationalized with him. Unfortunately, it is evident that Amir's former self is slipping through the cracks that Geoffrey has chiseled into him. It won't be long before Jake realizes this inevitability... and is forced to kill Geoffrey.... for the sake of his friend.
aubrey stewart absolutely stunning, that was great and I would love if Jake and amir read it. a round of applause for this smart broad makes me believe in gawwwd
I'm beefing soy at this- this- this, more than a pitch, this masterqueef of modern cinema. Work Lonely and Horny in there and I'll syndicate it. I don't have the leverage, money, nor gravitas to make it happen, but that doesn't mean I can't do it!
I get why people like to say Geoffrey and his character are basically Amir but I think they are pretty different. Amir was constantly looking for Jakes acceptance even in statements he was almost asking a question but with Geoffrey he is so confident in his idiotic ideas its a completely different character imo (a character that I love haha)
yeah there are differences but he plays it hella similarly with the same mannerisms and shit. peep the sorry at 2:53 textbook j and a. they seem to be his main comedic influence. hes good at it but it'd be cool if he did his own thing a bit more.
I get what you're saying, and in part I agree, but there were two pretty different versions of Amir depending on when the video was made. At first he was just a "needy dumb loser" as Jake put it. Then later on he became more crazy and mean spirited, with these borderline magic powers. Geoff seems like the second version if he wasn't such an asshole.
I loved this so much! There is the writing and timing we love!...it was basically Amir as Jake and Geoffrey as Amir. Amir even used the same insults and inflections Jakes does, and Geoffrey did the same as Amir.
That video was crazy crazy good. Amazing job, guys!! You tapped in to the frustration I feel all the time when dealing with people who just throw out stuff which has no connection to logic or reality. You captured the obliviousness of so many people. Amazing!!
The bait and switch in this video is so on point I have seen it over a 100 times and I still think it’s the single best video ever. Reaction time and response time are perfect 👌 been with em since day 1 when I killed myself in a Starbucks
I love that they have to edit around the laughing. There are like zero clean takes. Can't blame them though as just about every word said is too absurd not to break, especially when you know it's coming.
The frist watch is good and all, but with these as Well as j and a you Gotta get a second and third in there just to truly study the batshit insane and stupid stuff in absolutely everything being said
HAHAHA! I love the synergie! English isn't my first language, so it's episodes like this where I'm like... where the fuck are they talking about? But it's nice to confirm that they are indeed talking about absolute shit!
MooMooShiny he is! It called the earthlings podcast its with the pbl people, the first episodes on iTunes and I'm assuming wherever else they post them
heres one for the siggestion box!, how about you have a 'darker' episode, where geoffrey finally realises that everyone hates him. does anyone remember the J&A episode "amirs birthday"? it could be similar to that, so the geoffrey character becomes a more well rounded and relatable character, it might also give you a chance to shoot a video outside the office and show the true motives of geoffrey and why he feel the need to impress his co-workers, employers and make his old man proud. it could be a real character study in that regard. or you could keep it to 4 minute sketches that you freestyled off the top of your dick. both make for great content, yours truly, a big fan. P.S GO BILLS!
So we're just glossing over the fact that Rand Paul is in a meat locker, shivering on camera, and then brings out contestants one by one? Does he step out from inside a meat locker and introduce them because they were waiting outside for him? Or worse, are all of them inside a meat locker until the camera starts rolling?? So many unanswered questions!!
How is Geoffrey not fired yet? Or is he in it for the long Paul?
The loonnnggg Paul.
Hes a headgumbass
Very Nice
Jay Milligan No one's ever not taken the cash...
How was Amir never fired for his incompetance in Jake and Amir? These questions will drive you to your grave.

Wow what a ride from start to finish, love it!

Uptoke this philosopher to karma heaven!
Shoerika!
lol, I'm from Moldova. Just happy someone mentioned us in a video
MULLED over I said... Ya bish...

Amir was constantly looking for Jakes acceptance even in statements he was almost asking a question but with Geoffrey he is so confident in his idiotic ideas its a completely different character imo (a character that I love haha)
There are subtle differences between the characters and I hope it can be expanded upon in future episodes :)
Geoff is just stupid as fuck lmao
Also Geoff doesn't seem to be a horrible person like Amir was designed to be. He's just, well, a dumbass
yeah there are differences but he plays it hella similarly with the same mannerisms and shit. peep the sorry at 2:53 textbook j and a. they seem to be his main comedic influence. hes good at it but it'd be cool if he did his own thing a bit more.

i legit want/need these outtakes
Amir might finally get invited to a Gala!!!
Are Jants pee proof?
Tickkid _ Dry clean only
Nothing is pee proof, it's cotton clothing. You reek of piss.
Cherry Slat EUREKA!
"Moldovan, Laotian, Djiboutian, all the way up to white." Nothing more profound has ever been uttered. Good shit, Geoff.
Thank you, could not figure out how to spell Djiboutian!!
If only Amir had purchased those platinum white dress shoes. Then he would have taken Geoffrey as his guest to a Gala.
I can't believe that I've started to use the phrase "that's awesome dude" un-ironically in my every day speech...
That's awesome, dude!!
3:04 Geoffrey can't handle it
0:31 Amir cant handle it
the look on amir's face at 3:55 is cinematographic gold
I loved this so much! There is the writing and timing we love!...it was basically Amir as Jake and Geoffrey as Amir. Amir even used the same insults and inflections Jakes does, and Geoffrey did the same as Amir.
god this always makes me laugh so much! "rand paul's grand ball" i'm dead!
I love that you can see the non focused character break/smile/laugh when the shot is on the other guy. It's hilarious.
The best part of these videos is seeing Amir trying not to crack up when the camera is behind him
That video was crazy crazy good.
Reaction time and response time are perfect 👌 been with em since day 1 when I killed myself in a Starbucks
i lose my shit at geoffs facial acting, he is so funny
Can you make this image 2:36 available as a desktop wallpaper please? It's nothing short of glorious.
So this is it? Geoff’s favorite joke he’s ever told? I deserve. So much more than this.
Coldness:
1. Cool
2. Nascar
3. Ice
4. Rand Paul
My three favorite things: rupauls drag race, politics, and jake and amir 👍🏼
would absolutely love to see outtakes!
I love listening to these while doing homework and sleeping. Great background noise.
"all the way up to white" made me crack up
The first 30 seconds of this is comedic perfection. So much detail that cracks me up every time
Is will Haynes really starting a new podcast??????????????
Max Koh yeah, check his Instagram
Wow didn't know about that channel! Just found out about it from the comments of the latest CH video.
one of the best ones yet, keep up the good work fellas!
Ever since Jake and Amir finished, I have been empty. Yesterday I found HeadGum. I am now complete again.
I laughed so hard when i read the title before even watching the video
One of the best episodes I've seen. Well done guys
I'm glad that one of us Jake and Amir fans got to use their Jake and Amir knowledge to work for Jake and Amir
I keep coming back to this 😂 it's easily one of the most insane, brilliant things I've ever seen lol
I love that they have to edit around the laughing. There are like zero clean takes. Can't blame them though as just about every word said is too absurd not to break, especially when you know it's coming.
I was just waiting for amir to go ''holy shit that's a great idea'' and turn back into his old character lol
I was so worried Geoffery wasn't going to say his tag line!
Love the Will shout out!
the massive roast amir gives at 2:52 is the pinnacle of comedy
So fucking funny every time. Whats colder than ice rand paul. Why is he so cold go inside turn on the heater.
All retribution for amirs college humour days
I just watched it for a second time and this one is sooo good! This tickeled me!
Wow, I just realized the "what's cooler than being cool. Ice cold" bit is from ep 26 of IIWY
...no? It's from Outkast's song "Hey ya!"
0:31 Amir smiles so hard I love it
Rand Paul’s Drag Race. Straight to syndication this Friday on VH1.
Was waiting the whole skit for amir to pick up on “I’m order of ethnicity” 😹
this is definitely my favorite one so far
It's okay Geoffrey, you're doing your best. Gotta give him that atta boy, doing his father proud.
Great work from the sound person in the reflection!
Best video yet. I'm crying X'D
The boom operator is in the background the entire video.
holy shit the outtakes for this one must be so bloody good
How was aardvark not the answer to any of his questions?
That's what I'm asking you!
I tattooed the entire lyrics to hey ya by outkast on my back
Geoff was only 19 here?
this video made me laugh in ways i didnt know i could laugh
I love seeing amir trying not to laugh in his side shots XD
Will Haines better be starting a podcast or that is a pretty messed up joke :D
"Rand Paul's Drag Race to the front of the Covid-19 testing line."
I'm really fucking glad i'm not the only one reminded of this video due to current events
i say we skip the first 3 seasons maybe win a Emmy or 5 that can't hurt
This is the best one. Brava you queens
Lol is this how I find out that will is making a new podcast? Haha (please say it's true)
The frist watch is good and all, but with these as Well as j and a you Gotta get a second and third in there just to truly study the batshit insane and stupid stuff in absolutely everything being said
JUST GONNA GLOSS OVER WILL HAYNES NEW PODCAST
HAHAHA! I love the synergie! English isn't my first language, so it's episodes like this where I'm like... where the fuck are they talking about? But it's nice to confirm that they are indeed talking about absolute shit!
2:28 Dont...
Bob Barker I presume you're referring to a perfectly normal conversation with a normal person.
What kind of fucking meatball did HeadGum hire to type the captions? They wrote Laotian as Lusanne and Djiboutian as Jibuddhan.
Please bring Mikey into an episode
micky? you mean Ed Helms?
There's no such person as Ed Helms. Only Mickey. My friend.
didn't mickey(his friend) get fired for embezzling company funds and firing amir?
Will Haynes better actually be starting a new podcast or I will cry tears of soy
MooMooShiny he is! It called the earthlings podcast its with the pbl people, the first episodes on iTunes and I'm assuming wherever else they post them
Do you realize how jarring it is, just to get a quick glimpse into your mind.
you can see amir laugh as the screen angles on geoffrey
That's awesome dude
her hand?
that was awesome dude
This would give Amir a good opportunity to wear those platinum white dress shoes he bought
+ortomy say that again and I will scratch your other face!
Hahaha this is so funny. It's like ur humor becomes funnier the more Times u watch it which is so illogical
Do you mean William Washington Haynes? From source fed? I should listen to the podcast
*his hand
Watchin this before its taken down
I want Geoffrey's confidence
The weird portmanteaus like Rand Paul Drag Race or Fig Newton Gingrich definitely feel like Goeffreyisms
Criminally underrated
And Amir has become Jake

P.S GO BILLS!
SHUT UP TRACY
my god this had me in tears
all the way up to white
minor note, it would have been funnier if the last "thats awesome dude" was cut off by the end of the video.
Jonatan Nilsson but it was?
Jonatan Nilsson I don't think so
1:29 of sorts?????? OF JORTS
The last 10 seconds of this video is better than everything released by college humor since J and A left
Geoff is too good at playing this character. An Amir character of sorts.
What’s wrong with you that you did this?
A masquerade of sorts. A promenade of jorts
a masquerade of sorts, a gala of jorts
Laotian is the second worst race? :( lol great sketch guys
@0:32 is amir about to laugh
drag race is the best show on television
Holy shit how did I just discover these videos exist?
This might be one of the best things J/A have ever done
So we're just glossing over the fact that Rand Paul is in a meat locker, shivering on camera, and then brings out contestants one by one? Does he step out from inside a meat locker and introduce them because they were waiting outside for him? Or worse, are all of them inside a meat locker until the camera starts rolling?? So many unanswered questions!!
'how about this as a show, just carry on making jake and amir but replace jake with amir and replace amir with a random guy'
That's, that's prefect
