Antony has the will to run, put a foot, and can keep possession. I know he doesn't meet the price we paid for him, but if we are going for players that fit the mold of Amorim Antony fits. Give him the run of the season and if it doesn't work out take the loss in the summer.
I've said this for months. Give the guy a good run and get his confidence up then if he's not good enough you can sell him. If you let him rot on the bench he's worth nothing.
Like you hinted at i think we should give many academy players minutes, they are very promising and id rather have this season be a complete disaster finishing around 12th and then having a better future because of the risk we took this season with them.
So the Glazers just pocket my season ticket money and promote a bunch of children to the first team squad for free. Clearly not your money that is funding the club, is it?
@@jhpfdijtuiweruot those children are the future and look at other big teams like Barca, im pretty sure you would pay money to see a Lamine Yamal play. Also United was always a Club that brings up players from their academy. All the teams from SAF had academy players and im pretty sure in those days you were happy to be paying for a Season Ticket.
@Ijaz__9 pretty unrealistic to get rid of all of them in the january i can see Zirkzee to Serie A but the rest is going to be hard to offload. I like those signings though, if barca cant register Olmo we must go for him, such a baller. Nuno Mendes will cost very much so i dont think it will happen this january. Alvaro Fernandez is more likely to happen.
@Maskyyyx Yes, we always produced world class players from the academy but the Glazers wrecked it nearly two decades ago. Clearly just another internet “fan” who has no idea about the club
I agree with you but the coach needs to pick those players in the squad already. I love Amorim but he keeps picking players who can’t pass and do one touch passing. He needs stop picking Bruno, Garnacho, Dalot, Mainoo at 8, and Hojlund. If he wants to pass well and keep more possession he needs to pick Erickson, Casemiro along Ugarte, Zirkzee at 9, Antony at wingback and Mainoo at left 10. I would put Erickson and Mainoo at 10s and Antony and Amad as wingbacks.
For dani olmo, there is apparently a stipulation in his contract that if barca are not able to register him by January, he can leave on a free transfer.
You all gotta start thinking critically. It's concerning that you all believe ETH actually wrote those checks. It's even more concerning that you all seem to forget that, for the most part, ETH didn't get his first choice signings. Use your brain. @4o69
I agree with these targets however am i the only one that quite likes Antony’s performance under Amorim I think hes been decent off the bench yeah not a 100 mil player but not a bad backup
Ineos are looking at the books and they see the club bleeding money. No matter what business you’re in you have to balance the books so there are controversial decisions being taken. Sir Jim is not bankrolling United to make up expenditure short falls. Have patience guys it’s going to be bumpy.
Can't see much happening in January as amorim hasn't got much money to spend. Ideally United finish in the top 10 in the premier League. Summer clear out is definitely needed and bring in players who want to play for the badge and not the pay packet. Great video Sam
Goal-scorer, goal-scorer, goal-scorer. United need a Top-5/10 goal-scorer in the squad. SAF always had an elite goal-scorer. RVP may have single-handedly won Fergie’s last league title.
@@17NateJohnson We don’t need A goal scorer as a priority We ain’t creating enough chances yet to demand for a goal scorer… Any number 9 we sign we struggle in our team cause we don’t dominate opponents and create clear cut chances just like other great teams
@@RazielDeTam I actually think the supporting cast is ok if we had one (or two) players that struck fear into the opposition, players that would "bend" defenses with their presence. Look at what Cunha did to United. His presence bent the defense space-time continuum, creating space and threats around him.
This is a very good analysis of the current situation, and a solution to the problem posed. Funny, but with a good team you should be given a go at this 👍🏾
Just my thoughts, I could be terribly wrong here...use the academy, they'll be loyal and run their socks off if asked. Plus it saves us on the huge wages we've been paying. I agree with the sales, I could add Garna to the list, we could fetch some real cash from him while we can.
Yeah the academy players (pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Garnacho etc are famous for running their socks off when they were promoted to the first team squad and given obscene wages)
Agree 150% Sam. We’d most definitely not be any worse off and I think the introduction of youth as replacements for those three actually strengthens us!
Ole brought back the spirit and was best we've had since Fergie . If Ole, Carrick and Mckenna were given the time they deserved we'd be challenging this season with Chelsea and Liverpool
Definitely a LWB, then I would push for possibly a number 10 and try get a deal through for Jonathan David. No.10 I would look at olmo if they can get him for nothing, then also look at xavi simons. As a wild card Oscar glouch (i think he's called 😅) from salzburg
As a Preston fan the fact that united sold Alvaro at all even with a buy back is crazy was prem lvl after one seaon in the prem maybe not as start but defo as a sub
Alvaro wouldn’t come to play backup he’s playing first team football at benfica. Also Leon is coming in July. Nuno Malacia till then In summer sell Malacia Nuno Leon next szn
I agree on Dani olmo but I have concerns on Alvaro. The problem we have had in the past transfer windows is that we like to gamble on players and that has backfired alot. Getting Alvaro in the most important position at the moment is not a good choice, he is a good player but hasn't had real pressure to much that of the epl, so getting him now would be a real gamble.
Hey, a Manchester United fan here. I believe that Ruben Amorim could give Manchester United some success but I honestly do think it will take time. One of the first things Ruben Amorim had to do as soon as he joined Manchester United was to figure out who fits his system and who does not, and who he needs to buy and who he needs to keep and sell. I'll be sharing out my suggestions today. So, obviously, it hasn't been the BEST start for Ruben Amorim at Manchester United. Ruben Amorim has officially managed 10 games for Manchester United so far. Out of those 10 games, Ruben Amorim's Manchester United have won 4, drawn 1 and lost 5. I will be going through every single position in Ruben Amorim's system and decide who he should keep and who he should sell. GOALKEEPER There are currently 3 goalkeepers at Manchester United. Their first-choice keeper in Andre Onana, their second-choice keeper in Altay Bayindir and their third-choice keeper in Tom Heaton. I think Andre Onana should be a definite keep as he hasn't been really bad this season and it would be hard just to find another first-choice keeper off the bat. I believe Altay Bayindir should be a sell. He is our second-choice keeper and if Andre Onana is absent for a match, I simply just cannot trust Altay Bayindir; especially after seeing him in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals. I believe Tom Heaton should also be a keep as he is a useful homegrown player in the squad. I believe Tom Heaton should stay as the third-choice goalkeeper as Manchester United should sign a goalkeeper to replace Altay Bayindir. They are in links with 28-year-old goalkeeper: John Victor. I believe he could be a perfect replacement for Altay Bayindir. ONANA - keep BAYINDIR - sell HEATON - keep CENTRE-BACKS Ruben Amorim has 3 centre-backs with 2 wider centre-backs and 1 which is more central. A lot of people criticise this defender but I think Lisandro Martinez should be a keep. In Amorim's system, Lisandro plays as one of the more wider centre-backs who need to be more attacking and ball-playing. We know Lisandro Martinez can be capable of that after seeing his assist to Amad Diallo in the Manchester Derby. Maybe, Lisandro can be getting demoted to the bench but I don't think he should be a sell. Another defender who plays as a wider centre-back in Amorim's system is Leny Yoro, and I think he should be a keep too. Despite Manchester United currently struggling, Yoro is probably the only defender putting in at least a decent performance. Similarly to Lisandro Martinez, Leny Yoro has to be more attacking and ball-playing. Despite it only being pre-season, we saw Leny Yoro produce a great ball to one of our academy players against Rangers. I personally believe Leny Yoro could be a star under Ruben Amorim. Currently, the more central centre-back in Ruben Amorim's plan has been Matthijs de Ligt. His role is to be more defensive and to prevent attacks from the opposition and also try and drive the team forward. At the start of the season, it has been a rocky start for Matthijs de Ligt but now I can see him starting to improve, especially after Erik ten Hag's exit. I think Matthijs de Ligt should be a keep as well. I think every single other centre-back in Ruben Amorim’s system should be a sell, including: Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans. Luke Shaw can become a class player on his day but that is the problem. His match fitness records are really negative and we need a player with match fitness. Harry Maguire has been alright so far this season but Manchester United need players with better abilities if they want to become a dominant side again. I think, for Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans, their time is just up at Manchester United. I think Manchester United should sign a couple of centre-backs as well. There is this defender which Ruben Amorim has worked with before back at Sporting and he was the more central centre-back in his system and was great at preventing attacks from the opposition. His name is - Ousmane Diomande. I think it will be a tough decision between him and Matthijs de Ligt for the starting central centre-back as I think they will have around an even amount of game time. Another defender I believe Ruben Amorim should sign is a player Manchester United were targeting even when ETH was still manager of the club. His name is: Jarrad Branthwaite. He is crucial at scoring from set pieces and has good shooting for a centre-back, he could perhaps even start over Lisandro Martinez in the LCB role. Another defender I believe Manchester United should sign is a young player that can play in the RCB and is having a blast for Monaco so far. His name is: Wilfried Singo; and he could perhaps maybe even start over Leny Yoro. DE LIGT - keep YORO - keep MARTINEZ - keep SHAW - sell MAGUIRE - sell LINDELOF - sell EVANS - sell WING-BACK Before I even get to context, I think I speak on behalf of most Manchester United fans. Diogo Dalot will not thrive if he is continuously going to be used as a LWB. Sure, he can be a future wing-back under Ruben Amorim, but he would have to be on the right side of the pitch. However, since Noussair Mazraoui is far more consistent and is in better form than Diogo Dalot at the moment, I think Dalot will be the back-up RWB as Mazraoui will be starting over him. With Diogo Dalot being converted to a RWB, the only LWB we now have is Tyrell Malacia, who I believe should be sold as well. He hasn't played professional football for 18 months and his return back at Manchester United hasn't been the best. The first player Ruben Amorim needs to sign is a LWB. There are rumours saying that Alphonso Davies could go and join Manchester United. However, his wages are too much for them to handle. I believe Amorim should buy this left-back from PSG. His name is: Nuno Mendes. Manchester United are in links with this 17-year-old left-back currently and his name is: Diego Leon. He plays as a left-back but can be used as a left-wing-back under Amorim in the future. MAZRAOUI - keep DALOT - keep MALACIA - sell ANTONY - sell MIDFIELD Ruben Amorim has 2 midfielders in his starting 11 who have two slightly different roles. One of them plays more attacking and more like an 8 while the other plays more defensive and more like a 6. The 4 players currently at Manchester United who plays in these roles are: Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro. Out of these 4 players, I would like 2 of them to go - Christian Eriksen and Casemiro. I'm sorry, but they do not have the legs to have a future at Manchester United. With them 2 gone, Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte are the only midfielders to remain so if we're going to get rid of both Eriksen and Casemiro, we need to sign a back-up or 2. A great shout would be Morten Hjulmand. He is another player who played under Ruben Amorim back at Sporting and can play like a 6 which could be a perfect replacement for Casemiro. The other midfielder I have suggested is a bit more young but could be a back-up still for Manchester United: Ederson. MAINOO - keep UGARTE - keep ERIKSEN - sell CASEMIRO - sell INSIDE FORWARD/ATTACKING MIDFIELDER In Amorim's system, he has 2 inside forwards that play just behind the striker and could even assist them to score. The players who currently play at that position for Ruben Amorim are: Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount. I do not see Amad Diallo getting sold as he has arguably been Manchester United's best player this season so far, neither do I see Bruno Fernandes or Alejandro Garnacho getting sold. I think it is already obvious that there is a high chance of Marcus Rashford leaving and as soon as Mason Mount joined Manchester United, the amount of games he plays decreases because of injuries so I think he should be a sell as well. There are rumours that Ruben Amorim will sign Leroy Sane as a replacement for Marcus Rashford and I don't see a problem with that. AMAD - keep FERNANDES - keep GARNACHO - keep RASHFORD - sell MOUNT - sell STRIKER Currently, there are 2 strikers at Manchester United - Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. In Amorim's system, the striker needs to be clinical finisher and need to finish off the chances that they get. Unfortunately, Joshua Zirkzee doesn't have that in him. I believe that Rasmus Hojlund could thrive under Ruben Amorim but sometimes he can become inconsistent. I think we should demote Rasmus Hojlund to a second choice striker and to sell Joshua Zirkzee immediately. Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen are great shouts for a first-choice striker. However, Gyokeres did say in an interview that he will not join Manchester United in January and Manchester United are looking to sign Victor Osimhen, so Osimhen would be more realistic. HOJLUND - keep ZIRKZEE - sell NEW A-TEAM GK: Andre Onana (#24) RCB: Wilfried Singo (#2) CB: Matthis de Ligt (#4) LCB: Jarrad Branthwaite (#5) RWB: Noussair Mazraoui (#3) CM: Kobbie Mainoo (#37) CM: Manuel Ugarte (#25) LWB: Nuno Mendes (#19) CAM: Amad Diallo (#16) CAM: Bruno Fernandes (#8) ST: Victor Osimhen (#9) NEW B-TEAM GK: John Victor (#12) RCB: Leny Yoro (#15) CB: Ousmane Diomande (#26) LCB: Lisandro Martinez (#6) RWB: Diogo Dalot (#20) CM: Morten Hjulmand (#14) CM: Ederson (#18) LWB: Diego Leon (#27) CAM: Leroy Sane (#10) CAM: Alejandro Garnacho (#17) ST: Rasmus Hojlund (#11) (Don't expect this all to be done in January. Maybe at the end of 25/26 szn)
With the winter and summer transfer coming up, it would be a dream to see this: IN: Victor Osimhen (ST), Dani Olmo(CAM), Nico Williams (LW/RW/CAM), Alvaro Fernandez (LWB) or Milos Kerkez (LWB), Ousmane Diomande (CB) or Antonio Silva (CB). OUT: Rashford, Mount, Casemiro, Eriksen, Antony, Shaw, Evans, Lindelof, Bayindir. Zirkzee - I think a loan would be best to give him some playing time and monitor him. If he's a bust then sell him. Dalot - I know he's been performing better than most but I do believe he doesn't fit Amorim system. Amorim expects for his Wing backs to also take shots at goal if they have the space which I feel is something Dalot struggles with. Terrible shots, so many missed opportunities, moments that could differentiate our games. Garnacho - I've been seeing the rumors and I don't even want to think about it..but it is something that we can't keep ignoring. He's very inconsistent. Lacks on vision, looses ball often, passes aren't accurate, out of everyone he has the most missed opportunities. It's honestly hurting us. He's my favorite player but I cannot be biased when it comes to what is the best for the club. I say why not sell him when we are getting an offer for about £60M for him. We can definitely use those funds to start a rebuild.
I saw something about a potential 60m bid for Garnacho which I'd accept. I don't even dislike him but he doesn't seem to suit this system and has ben way off his game recently, plus the off field stuff with social media and reported leaks I think taking 60 while it's being offered to us is a really good idea.
Treating Fernández as a piece of meat. Have him, sell him, re sign him, sell him again because its cheap & may not work out again. I hope Fernández says F off...He's enjoying his life, his football. Leave him where he is.
He has the choice of coming back to united, he was sold on for his own development to get game time to prove himself. He's done that now, we clearly believed in him as we put a buy back option in, so now he has the opportunity to come back if he so wishes, don't be so dramatic
Dani Olmo? I thought you said this was realistic. It is very likely Barça will be able to register him. But could not agree more with Alvaro Carreras, great signing! But still don't think it will happen, maybe only after we explore other options and they don't work.
I disagree with selling Eriksen mid season he’s our only half decent passer left. All the players we have left violate the football and waste possession. We can’t even string five passes together mate!
Players we can sell to generate income: Dalot Bruno Rashford Garnacho Mainoo Amad (the only one I'd not considered selling) Academy players could make a bit extra. Any others 1st team players won't make much or anything with what we still owe on them with amortization vs what we'd get for them. Some would at least reduce the wage bill. 😅😅😅 Bottom line... The club is in a tough FFP position and will need to make some tough decisions if they want to support the manager.
Sam, you have talked about us getting A.Fernandez in a few videos now. While I agree to your point, the ball is in Alvaro’s court. Would he want to return back? He’s playing regularly in a title charge side currently.

Initially I thought this severe, then I read the list again and honestly can’t disagree with any of the names. Big list that just shows how bad a squad we have. Let’s keep the faith with the new gaffer, we were told a long time ago that open heart surgery was required. That guy got sacked before starting the job he was employed to do. Like him or not he was right so the sooner we go down the hard road the sooner we start to get better. I like everything I see in Ruben Amorim, we need to have his back and show some patience. 🤞🤞
Olmo is a huge stretch. Lad was on top of Europe barely 5 months ago, earned himself a big transfer to a big club, UCL football, the whole package. We can offer him… a wage for six months, basically, and the chance to work with a hotshot coach. Playing in the UEL and fighting to get in the top half of the table is not a tantalising prospect for one of the best players in the side that won the Euros. I’m sure Barca won’t mind sending him to a team that’s absolutely no competition for them right now while easing a financial burden, but he might want to go to a more competitive side as things stand.
I agree with the exits 100%. Honestly having the academy players wouldn't be to badly of. We need to get rid of most/some players. I rather suffer at 11th the entire season if it means we get to have a proper identity. This idea of us being top 4 with no real progress is not good enough anymore.
If anything I’d argue that the outs you highlighted do strength our squad (with the exception of Erikson) as the other 2 are clearly distractions in the team. The culture / ethos being detracted from definitely weaken us. Also can’t back enough getting Fernandes back in - easy common sense signing.
Mainoo isn't a 6. He is a 8 or a 10. He is a dribbler, plays only short passes and doesnt have the legs. He is being misused as a 6. I much rather would like to see him as a 10 or even a winger.
We seen how good Mainoo is last season and he’s only 19 He can surely adapt to one of the positions. He’s been poor this szn but people r quick to forget
@ yea, we’ve seen how good he was last season no doubt. But last season is last season and he needs to do better this season….. if you want to continue living in the past then as human, you’ll achieve nothing moving forward. He can still improve cause he’s still young to do so but he needs to do better. Look at players like Yamal, he did well last season and he’s as continued better this season and he’s only 17.
I’ve loved watching Cunha this season and can’t help but think he’d be a far better option than Bruno who looses the ball, often makes the wrong decision and then has a go at his teammates
I don't see the reason in picking out Eriksen over Casemiro, if the wage is the problem. Eriksen has had a better season so far, and is a creative backup to Bruno. He will leave in the summer, but to force him out now seems wrong.
That would be a great january to be honest, i know we all want Gyokeres (i want him the most) but the team needs to be up to his quality or at least be able to not lose their heads under pressure. Id love to gyokeres in the summer, we should move zirkzee on, he's looking like another lukaku and he's also super slow
yeh that is true... also why would he not play champions league and give him better exposure and exchange that for a club that is struggling and in europa league and probably will not get European football next season
I found these suggestions very reasonable. Getting Kieran Tierney on loan could be a 2nd priority at left back, his contract is running out in the summer, so if he works out he could be signed for free. And he should want to play some fotball again.. United could get rid of Lindelof as well. Him leaving on a free could also free up wages..
If I were ineos, I'd ask Ruben to ensure we dont get relegated, then sell some surplus on Jan. I wouldn't have the main clear out and replace until the summer.
These are all Great options , but What about also adding Facundo Pellistri as Inside forward? He is not physically strong but his passing is fluid and he works hard.. We have a buy back for less than $5m
u right Sam but i dont see this happening , something crazy about to happen in Man UTD but hard to tell whats gonna be , we may have to suffer a bit more !
Hello 👋🏽 Sam your bang on with everything I agree aswell, and why not Alvro has that 😉.... I'm sure of it and ALMO wow he would be awesome 👏🏾 let's see what' happens
Personally I would keep Erickson and move on Casimero. We more than ever need a defending midfielder (similar to the city player out for the season). One who reads the game well snuffs out the danger and allows attacking midfielders like Fernandez to do their best work.
I think Eriksen's creativity would be missed, but looking at the 'forward picture', I agree that moving a couple more of the youth forwards into the first team is probably the way forwards. We ended up being a bit scanted by 19 yr old Dean Huijsen in the Bournemouth game. Young, hungry players are our relatively equal opposition these days, and I feel we need to try and 'make the grade' of the Bournemouths, the Forests, the Brightons, before we can think about Liverpool (and pains me to say, Chelsea) [pains me on this front as it wasn't long ago that Chelsea fans were probably hoping they could reach Utd's league position]
@chrisdee1583 a number of goals that started from our own half this season came from a top-drawer, incisive pass from Eriksen. He's made some great late runs into the box (movement that other players could learn from). There are certainly drawbacks with playing him, this I certainly note too.
-If Garnacho doesn't leave somehow this January, the club is still joking around. Absolute toy story of a player. -A goalkeeper on loan is also a must to stop set piece disaster, Lunin doesn't play much for Real Madrid this year. -Kukonki to left centre back to gain aerial power, Mainoo left midfielder could work much better compared to Dalot, Bruno Fernandes centre midfield next to Ugarte as he can run and put in some decent long balls to channels for Hojlund, and try Moorhouse behind Hojlund.
Napoli are ready to do a swap with Man Utd involving Rashford and Osihmen. Osihmen is younger and established as a top striker. Man Utd should jump at this deal in January because other top teams will want Oshimen in the summer. Rashford still has a high value in the transfer market but if you loan him out, you risk dropping his value if he doesn’t perform wherever he goes. I say keep him and only offload if you are selling.
I want to see Zirkzee and Hojlund playing together just to see if it works. Feel sorry for Hojlund, there is no supply to him but I think with Zirkzee behind might work well. Amarim always replaces them with each other. While Bruno is suspended could be perfec time to try. Nothing else seems to work
Alvaro Fernandez is a must in January, if we could pull Dani Olmo would be awesome. Also, i´ve been looking the situation of Kolo Muani and Skriniar who don´t a have a place under Luis Henrique system so PSG are trying to loan them, this would be great because they had been interested in Rashford before so if Utd can keep a good relationship between clubs MAYBE we could make a swap + money for Nuno Mendes with Rashford involved.
@AppleSauceGamingChannel exactly for that reason i mentioned that keeping a good relationship with PSG is crucial because this kind of deal has to be done in the winter transfer window
Although it is true Sporting made a great signing with Gyokeres, it is not less true that Amorim did great by elevating players they already had. Manchester should be looking at what they already have, it will serve them better in the future. Remember the 99 generation?
Idk if im wrong or not but is there any chance that we could get the free agent sergio ramos ? He is a leader a reliable defender and could help amorim in locker room as well Idk its just thought and i really wanna know your thoughts as well
For me realistic exits are guys that cannot fill in the Amorim system and have some value to other clubs. It's bold but if you want to make some money that makes sense Garnacho is the one to sell. He still has his stocks up,Amorim does not use him and does not compliment the system we want to play. Rashford, Ericksen and Antony is a wish exit. Nobody will go for Eriksen this January they can get him free on June, Rashford costs a lot for a Loan and they way we have him outside of the squad will not up his Market Value. Antony is having a playtime right now and actually have played both RW and RWB so a loan will not work if we use him , if we go for the sale we can not sell him for much so it's a lose situation. As far as a new signings go Olmo will not work in our current attack, the problem is the whole attacking squad not a position , so only Alvaro makes sense cause we have trouble down the left side.
We’re going to have to sell players for profit if we are to spend in january. Rashford, Amass, Gore & Wheatley should raise some funds as they are homegrown academy graduates. No matter what we sell Antony for we won’t be able to spend a penny of it unless it’s more than what we paid for him
I dont love olmo but if he is coming in a free its worth it I really dont think garnacho has a place in this team unless he shows it 😢 i really like him we need a lwb nuno mendes is a great young player

@path7974 hate to say it, but Citeh has a better allure. Arsenal even
Like you hinted at i think we should give many academy players minutes, they are very promising and id rather have this season be a complete disaster finishing around 12th and then having a better future because of the risk we took this season with them.
So the Glazers just pocket my season ticket money and promote a bunch of children to the first team squad for free. Clearly not your money that is funding the club, is it?
Rashford Garnacho zirkzee Antony all go in Jan
Bring Olmo nypan in Jan and promote academy players.
Sign nuno mendes aswell.
Totally agree with you on both points (the in and outs)
We need 3-4 players who can keep possession and pass the ball
I agree with you but the coach needs to pick those players in the squad already. I love Amorim but he keeps picking players who can’t pass and do one touch passing. He needs stop picking Bruno, Garnacho, Dalot, Mainoo at 8, and Hojlund. If he wants to pass well and keep more possession he needs to pick Erickson, Casemiro along Ugarte, Zirkzee at 9, Antony at wingback and Mainoo at left 10. I would put Erickson and Mainoo at 10s and Antony and Amad as wingbacks.
If so then getting rid of Eriksen is a big mistake.
It’s sad that what we need most are people who can do the basics.
And Sam People’s wants to get rid of Eriksen.
What about run? Can we get some players with desire and work ethic that chase lost causes?
For dani olmo, there is apparently a stipulation in his contract that if barca are not able to register him by January, he can leave on a free transfer.

Funny, but with a good team you should be given a go at this 👍🏾
A few weeks back i heard that Leicester had interest in lindelof he could also possibly leave for a loan
Brilliant assessment and I totally agree

Mainoo is from academy but lacks intensity
Agree 150% Sam. We’d most definitely not be any worse off and I think the introduction of youth as replacements for those three actually strengthens us!

Well said bro I'd prefer we go for a more experienced player rather making such a risky gamble
getting olmo wud be wonderful ..but his wage is a question to be answered
I hope that Amorim realises quickly that the attitude and mentality of Bruno as a captain on the field are driving the team down rather than upward.
GOALKEEPER
There are currently 3 goalkeepers at Manchester United.
ONANA - keep
BAYINDIR - sell
HEATON - keep
CENTRE-BACKS
Ruben Amorim has 3 centre-backs with 2 wider centre-backs and 1 which is more central.
DE LIGT - keep
YORO - keep
MARTINEZ - keep
SHAW - sell
MAGUIRE - sell
LINDELOF - sell
EVANS - sell
WING-BACK
Before I even get to context, I think I speak on behalf of most Manchester United fans.
MAZRAOUI - keep
DALOT - keep
MALACIA - sell
ANTONY - sell
MIDFIELD
Ruben Amorim has 2 midfielders in his starting 11 who have two slightly different roles.
MAINOO - keep
UGARTE - keep
ERIKSEN - sell
CASEMIRO - sell
INSIDE FORWARD/ATTACKING MIDFIELDER
In Amorim's system, he has 2 inside forwards that play just behind the striker and could even assist them to score.
AMAD - keep
FERNANDES - keep
GARNACHO - keep
RASHFORD - sell
MOUNT - sell
STRIKER
Currently, there are 2 strikers at Manchester United - Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
HOJLUND - keep
ZIRKZEE - sell

Ok hear me out if some how we get this deal done it would be smart to include a buy back clause or 30 or 40 % of future sale
@@nicochatousse3994 No club paying 60M would accept that. I also don't think, that any club would pay that much for him in the first place.

Players we can sell to generate income:

Sam, you have talked about us getting A.Fernandez in a few videos now. While I agree to your point, the ball is in Alvaro’s court. Would he want to return back? He’s playing regularly in a title charge side currently.

Olmo will be registered in time. Does anyone genuinely believe that Barca doesn't have a plan?
Not sure you'll get 40 million for rashford. I'd say 20 mill max

We need to pray that January transfer will bring changes in next phase
If anything I’d argue that the outs you highlighted do strength our squad (with the exception of Erikson) as the other 2 are clearly distractions in the team. The culture / ethos being detracted from definitely weaken us. Also can’t back enough getting Fernandes back in - easy common sense signing.
We need 4 players LWB, 10, and a 6 Mainoo is not good enough. And we need a striker.
Mainoo isn't a 6. He is a 8 or a 10. He is a dribbler, plays only short passes and doesnt have the legs.
He is being misused as a 6. I much rather would like to see him as a 10 or even a winger.
@ so you want someone who only plays short passes as a 10? 😂 plsss
@k4yser so you want someone who hasn't got the legs as a winger? 😅please
We seen how good Mainoo is last season and he’s only 19
He can surely adapt to one of the positions.
So long as united fans can be realistic about signings/results, we should be good.
PLEASE give Amorim time
I don't see the reason in picking out Eriksen over Casemiro, if the wage is the problem. Eriksen has had a better season so far, and is a creative backup to Bruno. He will leave in the summer, but to force him out now seems wrong.
For exits, I would add Casemiro as well, I think that's the most likely.
Martinez, Masroui, Hojlund, Diallo, Garnacho, De Ligt, Mainoo, Ugarte only ones worth keeping the rest are either finished or shite.
Garnacho, if he really shows some growth this season. And I’d keep Yoro too. Completely agree with the rest of those names.
I don't know what you've been watching but Hojlund is shite.
Yoro, Bruno, Dalot and Onana as well. Dalot just needs to be a RWB not a LWB and he'll be good and Bruno honestly just needs to fix up.
@@scottsinner7530 Yeah forgot Yoro

Nuno or Davies are perfect for United. But they cost too much
That would be a great january to be honest, i know we all want Gyokeres (i want him the most) but the team needs to be up to his quality or at least be able to not lose their heads under pressure. Id love to gyokeres in the summer, we should move zirkzee on, he's looking like another lukaku and he's also super slow
Ericsson was scoring goals before he got put on bench
Alvaro isn't interested in coming back, widely reported in Portugal. Buy back means nothing if he says no.
yeh that is true... also why would he not play champions league and give him better exposure and exchange that for a club that is struggling and in europa league and probably will not get European football next season
100% agreed
How about Gutierrez from girona? He’d be a great attacking wingback
Personally I would keep Erickson and move on Casimero. We more than ever need a defending midfielder (similar to the city player out for the season). One who reads the game well snuffs out the danger and allows attacking midfielders like Fernandez to do their best work.
Why not focus more on finishers? I feel we have had great chances recently but so many struggle to score.
I think Eriksen's creativity would be missed, but looking at the 'forward picture', I agree that moving a couple more of the youth forwards into the first team is probably the way forwards. We ended up being a bit scanted by 19 yr old Dean Huijsen in the Bournemouth game. Young, hungry players are our relatively equal opposition these days, and I feel we need to try and 'make the grade' of the Bournemouths, the Forests, the Brightons, before we can think about Liverpool (and pains me to say, Chelsea)
[pains me on this front as it wasn't long ago that Chelsea fans were probably hoping they could reach Utd's league position]
Creativity from Eriksen? Deary me he's absolutely honking.

United won't sign Osimhen! He's a liability.
Mendes is worth over 100 million. United cannot spend a lot this window unless they sell.
@AppleSauceGamingChannel exactly for that reason i mentioned that keeping a good relationship with PSG is crucial because this kind of deal has to be done in the winter transfer window
I’d go Gutierrez from girona as the wingback and I’d agree with olmo
Kerkez or Robertson will change our team massively. Has to be priority. Nearly a year without a left footer on the left. Unbelievable 😱🤬🇾🇪🇾🇪🇾🇪
Those thinking one or two players in will change much are in for a rude awakening.
not only is robbo worse than the likes of kerkez, ait nouri and robinson hes also a liverpool player hes not leaving
No money for those! Let’s ask ETH fraud where he has spent 600m
@ we’ll see
@ what’s the point of this childish ten hag abuse anymore? You know he’s gone now?
thoughts on jobe bellingham?
Although it is true Sporting made a great signing with Gyokeres, it is not less true that Amorim did great by elevating players they already had. Manchester should be looking at what they already have, it will serve them better in the future. Remember the 99 generation?
Idk if im wrong or not but is there any chance that we could get the free agent sergio ramos ?
He is a leader a reliable defender and could help amorim in locker room as well
Idk its just thought and i really wanna know your thoughts as well
I would love to see us sign Olmo, I've rated him for a long time, I cant believe Barca will let him go like that
We need a finished product, not someone who is underdeveloped we need Nuno Mendes, not Alvaro Fernandez
Yep, lets get another injury prone player for our left side
Why would Mendes come to United. Surely there are better options for him.
100% Collyer should be selected, he played a few for Haggis!
Uggy & Collyer
Bruno & Mainoo as 10s
This will bring more youth & energy to the MF
Olmo on a 6 month deal would be amazing.
Though I have no doubt it would never happened
We need Osimhen in January. Also a LWB and a CAM.
I think we need both alvaro and dorgu
The only thing we need in January is the left back and NUNO MENDES for me is the best option
Harvey barnes, adam wharton, jarrod brantwaithe, victor gyokeres and nuno mendes.
We’re going to have to sell players for profit if we are to spend in january. Rashford, Amass, Gore & Wheatley should raise some funds as they are homegrown academy graduates. No matter what we sell Antony for we won’t be able to spend a penny of it unless it’s more than what we paid for him
Nuno Mendes apparently put a break on his renewal with PSG due to Amorim
Pahahahahaha 😂😂😂😂
We need to sign Randal Kolo Muani
Funny that you think Olmo and Davies would even consider Mutd :D
I dont love olmo but if he is coming in a free its worth it
I really dont think garnacho has a place in this team unless he shows it 😢 i really like him we need a lwb nuno mendes is a great young player
I'd like that and go for nipan too loan him back until summer and try get gomes on a pre contract for next summer
