Since hes with Top Gear not as active, but at times I'd rather have Jethro present me a car rather than Chris. They are both great in their own way respectively
He is these days on Top Gear website, where he posts videos as he did before. 812 video came out 20 days earlier.
I added Jethro to my list of best car journalists some time ago. For me it is Chris Harris, Steve Sutcliffe and Jethro Bovingdon.
put those 3 in one show "top gear", and they'll rip the shit out of grand tour right?

Not at all man. Neither Jeremy, Richard, or James can whip a car around like Chris Harris or Jethro in this video. Both Chris and Jethro are career professional drivers, the Top Gear boys are not.

Man, in all those vídeos about The 812, people keep saying "Looks ugly", "The F12 Looks better" "stupid name" and bla bla bla... Man, this is a fucking N/A V12 with 800 HP, rear wheel drive, that revs to 8.900 RPM!!! In a world with turbos, downsizing, eletric Powered cars and all this things, this car must be respected! Long Live Ferrari, Long love N/A cars!

This video is the first time I thought the 812 looks stunning, the silver with dark wheels is the best combo for these I've seen so far. Awesome review too!

Crazy how they can make these high power front engine, rear wheel drive cars be so manageable while everyone else is making them all wheel drive.
You've gotta give it to Ferrari. Still sticking to their guns that the most thrilling cars are those with rear wheel drive and huge, naturally aspirated V12's, and improving on that same formula year after year while almost everything else is now all-wheel drive and/or turbocharged. And that's why Ferrari are the #1 auto maker in the world.
and they won't let you test their cars against others so that you can't see how inefficient and style over substance they are...

HG504 would rather have really well produced videos rather than loads of them with less quality, I love this channel because of the high quality.

I think the same too. F12 looks old compared to new gen cars. 812 looks pretty good in my opinion.
This is my first time even hearing of this guy and I have to say he is one of the best reviewers I have ever seen. So composed, pleasant voice and tone, great information and all that while on the ragged edge driving this monster. I'm impressed.

Good report, but here's one tip that all producers could use: Instead of continual, almost continuous, shots of someone talking, which tell the viewer nothing but how happy the driver is, replace these with inboard shots looking out from various positions including the driver's point-of-view, and showing the controls and interior features.
Rear wheel steering seems to be the next 'must have' tech for sport cars these days. Not that I'm complaining.

great review as always but i have a request: can you make a 'just enjoy' section in the review where no one talks, only picturing the car standing maybe with some classical music and then letting the engine sing its melody in some nice driving shots

Best review of the 812: well spoken, discerning of the car's character and dynamics; and piloted like a champ. Nice work. First complaint about the brakes, perhaps they were worn or otherwise not right. This car is enormously attractive and a great object of desire, Ferrari has really shown its determination to carry through a sound concept and engage in the imaginative and meticulous pursuit of excellence.

Dear Drivetribe your outro jingle level is simply a bit nuts like the really annoying advertisements set to maximum output. And sorry to complain, but when you hear the engine of V12 Ferrari scream out loud like in this video thus listening to it quite loud, then having a Jingle that is even louder is a bit over the top. Still Love Drivetribe

5:16 always thought it was weird how some journalists lose their mind over "flat" handling. I guess that's fine for a race car but you do want a minute amount of roll to soak up bumps mid turn, help you keep power down, understand the road.

jethro always says drivetrain for the engine... but the engine is the powertrain... while the drivetrain is how the car puts the power down through the wheels i.e in this case rear wheel drive... even still Jethro still one of my fav car reviewers indeed

The best 812 review for me, the shots and Jethros driving style are just the very best. Always rated both him and Harris but I feel like TG have watered Harris down a bit now, still great, really good but his own content was much better. Anyone want argue Jethro and Drive tribe are not the kings of YT now?

When the F12 TDF came out everyone said it was the best thing since sliced bread, raw, "the next level" etc. Now "it wasn't just right and plain scary at times". We've seen this before, of course these "reviews" are more somewhat paid for ads and should be taken mainly as entertainment. In this video Jethro says that they "might have gotten the electric power steering right", this of course means that when the next model comes out they will say stuff like "the 812 had a nice try at electric power steering, but frankly it could have used more work" etc. I undestand that you can't get PR cars if you're always brutally honest, but it's just funny at times. Anyone else agree?
