I take issue with his comments about Quake. For a big man he was an excellent worker and had many good matches over several years. He was athletic for his size too. If you can't get a good match with him, maybe that's down to you. That said I was disappointed they booked a squash at Mania X. Quake didn't need it to get over or anything by this point in his career.
I agree, Earthquake was a solid worker for a big guy, and most of the comments I've heard about him are in line with that.
I 100% agree, earthquake was a veteran of the ring by then and did not need to prove himself at all.

Andre the giant came down to help khali but was chokeslammed by the giant gonzalez through the Spanish announcement table

Yeah he was never used to his full potential. Wrath was a really good character and he was over but being WCW they didn't do anything with him and he got lost in the shuffle amongst the 100 some wrestlers they had.

Loved Earthquake and Typhoon/Tugboat. Adam Bomb's contacts were always cool too.
Got WCW tickets for Columbus Ohio back in the 90s and the only thing I remember is when Wrath came out I couldn't believe how huge dude was.
Calls Earthquake a "blob", then goes on to compliment Yoko. Politics never die.

It was originally booked to be Earthquake vs Ludvig Borga before they changed it to Adam Bomb.
Cause Ludvig Borga failed a drug test and was suspended at mania

When he first came into wwf he was an innovative character. Remember Adam Bomb being a garbage pail kids card in the 80s!
He would have done better in the attitude era with Razor Ramon and Diesel for me, but he had a really good gimmick, tall, muscular, maybe there were too manu wrestlers in the rooster at that time I think. Everyway he could have done way more

First time I saw Adam Bomb, it was a wow moment from the height to the slim proportioned muscle build to the outfit and entrance music. He was quite impressive and intimidating in the ring also on his initial run. He could and should have been much bigger. Perhaps winning a Royal Rumble or Survivor Series event.

Originally it was supposed to be Earthquake vs Ludvig Borga at Wrestlemania 10, so yeah it was a squash match but at least he got a Wrestlemania payday and was part of that historic event. 🤔🤷♂️
that's not true they were both heels Vince would not have booked Earthquake vs Borga
@@undertakerfanz8974 Earthquake was babyface at the time, he turned face around Wrestlemania 8 in 1992. I saw a match on TH-cam from early 1994, probably Quake vs Bastion Booger but not sure, in which they showed the graphic for Quake vs Borga at WM 10, so that was definitely the original plan but Borga got injured around the same time so they scrapped it.

@@jonathanturbide2232 they both use Hogan's leg drop who would have won if they would have booked that match because I think Ludvig Borga was undefeated at the time and I think he would have beat Earthquake @WM10

Eh it's kinda nice, really open ended question, let's the interviewee focus on what was important to them. I've never watched this guy before so I'm not tired of his way of speaking
I thought Adam Bomb was pretty good. Glad he got some shine later on with the WCW winning streak and then Kronik.

Adam Bomb gimmick deserved much more.
I like Bryan Clark, but man, those comments on John Tenta felt very distasteful. John was one hell of a solid worker for his size. When he says he couldn't get a decent match out of him, I feel some missing words were along the lines of "I couldn't do my usual power set of moves because be was substantially bigger" (or along those lines) should've been in there. John could work, that's not some kind of great secret.
Bryan deserved better man. Prichard says that he wasn't over, but i was at MANY shows and can tell everyone that that is complete bullsh**. He was EXTREMELY over. They (like WCW later) killed him when he got over.
He would have been better off as the Wrath character in WWF or at least more serious. Adam Bomb’s look was a little over the top goofy.
Clark looks really good with short hair. Plus, Bryan still looks good today.

Because it was like the 8th match in the evening...
Owen and Bret ran long, Shawn and Razor ran long. They entirely cut a five man tag match with 123 Kid and Macho Man in it.
Macho Man wrestled Crush that night.
Great guy though
Wrestlemania 10 was pressed for time because Shawn and Razor just laid in the middle of the ring doing nothing for as long as possible. Another match 5 against 5 was cut ! Earthquake and Adam Bomb given one minute. That's one that I would have liked to have seen again. They did have a "rematch" but it seems like they could have done it a couple more times and make it more of a feud. Adam Bomb was underutilized in the 1995 era where WWF just had people like Mantaur, Duke Drose and all those other filler guys from the 1995 Shawn/Bulldog Rumble. Bret versus Hakushi is filler, but Diesel versus King Mabel is in main event for the championship lol..

I think you’re right. The 10 man tag got completely scrapped if I remember correctly.
The 10-man tag was definitely due to time because of the ladder match going long, but Quake-Bomb went on before Razor-Shawn, so not sure why it was so short, other than maybe just deciding Quake should get a quick dominant win on the big stage while building him up to feud with Yokozuna.

He was a cool person but honestly as a wrestler his was mid card at best. Backstage politics don't have nothing to do with everybody's case
It's funny how he makes the comments that he makes about earthquake, when you consider the fact that Not only was earthquake big in height, but he was also big and wait, and he was a very good worker, and was very talented. Especially someone for his size. He did a great job as a heel, as well as a baby face, and he was always a crowd favorite. Even after he retired. However, where does adam bomb get off trying to make negative comments about anybody? He was never that talented in the ring. He was never a big match attraction. Not in the wwf, nor in WCW during his time there. Even when he was given a really good mid-card match, he still just wasn't that good. So when you hear someone like that, make those kind of comments, it comes across as spiteful jealousy, rather than honest truth.
Was feeling the same way. I was never entertained by Adam Bomb. Always seemed like a jobber with a little extra shine.
