The fact that it has wireless carplay is a huge plus for me. Being a Android head unit you can find much better launchers to make this a nice unit, depends on the price of the unit. Great video.
You can remove the small transparent music overlay bar by touching it holding it down and sliding it off the screen and then you’ll see a little house on the margin. You can basically drag and drop it anywhere you want or slide it off the right side of the screen.
Nice work on the new video. This unit looks very promising but have a few deal breakers in there currently, would be nice to see a follow-up video later if they release some updates to see if they are actually addressed.

there must be SD card slot inside the unit on the PCB on the 'bottom right' corner looking down to it when you open the top and considering the display face is towards your body. But there is no cut-out on the unit's side. Can do it with dremel or something like that.
After watching this review... I bought the Dasaita HA2206-Vivid10-CP-HD. Absolutely awesome in every way... Sound is excellent, the 2k screen is so crisp and sharp... Only niggles, it came installed with the VIVID software, still a work in progress.. I installed the MAX10 software... so much easier to use. Highly recommend this head unit (with MAX10 installed).
@@SaabUnleashed So much better and easy to install, VIVID has so many problems, wifi and gps were taking too long to establish a connection, that on screen home button is silly. MAX10, you get the ability to customize your screen the way you want and looks way better...

I know some units allow for a wide range of adjustable positioning while others just get the screen clamped into the head unit in one fixed position and that's it. And how does this compare to the Idoing and Joying units that you have also reviewed as far as a speed and screen quality (maybe they all use the same screen)? Thanks again :)
Does this radio allow connection to 1 phone or 2? I've owned about 14 Joying radios and love the 3 I currently have but the biggest drawback is they only connect to 1 phone. If my wife needs the car, she has no bluetooth calling. The Dasaita site doesn't say.
I purchased the Dasaita Scout HD 11.6 for my 2019 Tundra. The radio sounds great, but when I receive a text or phone call the volume is extremely low. If I adjust the volume for the phone conversation, the radio comes back on way too loud. Do you know of a fix for this issue?

I’m trying to figure out which unit will for sure tell me my gas is low alert, like my factory screen does on my 2013 Chevy Tahoe LT. I can’t loose that alert feature if I upgrade the poor quality (pretty much useless) factory unit.
You would still get the alert in the dash cluster, at least I did in my Denali. Make sure you get the right adapters to install, the turn signals and all alerts sound through the speakers

Agree, and no there is not. I have contacted them about that and they are looking to correct it. I believe they have just used the default software settings for the generic low resolution screened units

Depends on what you want. Joying wins on specification but Dasaita and Phoenix do head units fort specific cars so they look stock. I've never dealt with Phoenix before, but the specs of their products appear to be decent. I'll see if I can get one to play with

The general rule of thumb is that any head unit will go into any car. It just depends how much work you have to do to get it installed! This particular head unit is available in single and double din size, so should fit most vehicles

I have the Max10 , love it , nearly 2 years old and not a problem with it , installed in my VW T5 ..

Not sure but This is better product compared to Joying? The Tilt Screen is an advantage you think.

I think 2 phone connections are Bluetooth 5.0 and above. However, I was wondering the same just to be sure as i have the same requirement.

Actually yes, and there have been a lot of improvements from Dasaita on this head unit since I first got it. The UI is much better

I didn’t see any satellite radio compatibility.
Is there a setting for CarPlay resolution ? Icons seems to be very big for this screen size.
Agree, and no there is not. I have contacted them about that and they are looking to correct it. I believe they have just used the default software settings for the generic low resolution screened units
@@SaabUnleashedIf you plug a CarLinkit USB dongle, you can change the resolution with the AutoKit app. I thought it would be possible with Zlink.

I was told that Scout is only available in the USA, probably due to software licencing.
