curently at the 24:33 minute mark, while following along and pausing this video a million times, in person this took 2 hours of nonstop gameplay... i'm at 14 full candles.
This is from a year ago, but if you do happen to read this: there are far faster ways to get loads of candles, and full CR is just not a good strategy. Candles max out at about 22 anyway (arguably 20 tbh) so you have to choose the places you get your wax based on how conveniently distanced they are
I love your videos 👍👍 They're super helpful. A quick way to get that candle cake at the top of the Hermit Cave Mountain is from the Windpath roundabout ... After doing Isle, & collecting those candles at the very top of the Cave of Prophecies... if you're familiar with the fast-flow roundabout. (...or after the Sanctuary Isles you can fly on the Manta to the high waterfall clouds.... there is another tunnel to this fast-fly roundabout). The circular Windpath also passes a tunnel, (and candles on platforms) to the Underground Caverns .. This access eliminates need for waiting for help. (It has a green platform with glowing fungi and the tunnel leads to near the butterfly cave) After you get to know the scenic markers to jump off this roundabout, another neat stop-off is the Forgotten Ark, so these 3 side places can be done in a circle without doing the detours in the main areas. It changes things up for the usual journeys anyways. (Another Windpath tunnel leads to the Starlit Desert) I'm still discovering the shortcuts

i would probably skip the later parts of wasteland since i always go insane whenever i get krilled or get really stressed out just by looking at them. saves a lot of time too :p definitely going to do the other realms properly. thank you
PRO TIP FOR TRIALS: I beat all of the trials with chibi mask alone and I thought they were supposed to be super difficult but THE MASK MAKES YOUR JUMP SMOL TOO....
I have a new candle run rout now :D first i will run sanctuary and do geyser, then i will get daily candle cakes, i will Quickly run valley and vault, ans do turtle, geyser, and grandma whenever they are on (but currently grandma is bugged) Thank you for this, i realized ive been missing half the wax in valley 😂

'Earth is one of the easier trials'...... WHAT SIS 😭 I got through the water trial with little to no guidance at all. stuck on the earth trial because apparently I can't even follow a TH-cam tutorial with it🤧
Oh no, you missed one! At 6:53, once you get to the top of that ramp, turn around 180 degrees and follow the left edge of the path until you get to a platform. On the left of that platform you'll find a door with two more candles behind it :)
I think you missed a couple candle cakes in sanctuary. There’s one on top of the first floating island, one near the quest giver, and a bunch of darkness near the polluted geyser.
this is an older video, the cake on the first floating island replaced the one on the top of the large mountain! and the ones near the geyser were not there before :) not sure about the one near the quest giver though, she may have actually missed that one

i did a full candle run yesterday, and it took a whole day until night came and i had to go to bed. the good thing is i got finished in time.

If you guys candle for 2 weeks you’ll get 280 candles but if it’s 4 weeks you’ll get 560 (you gotta full candle run to get the exact amount )
Well, you have to have 2 to 3 hours of gaming everyday. It's not always possible
