The Umbara Arc is top 5 clone wars arcs and one of the best stories in the entire franchise. This roller coaster of emotions is some of the best the series has to offer.
@StruggleNation the reason why Dogma was arrested in the end is because even though he killed krell who was a traitor, he was still a jedi and an unarmed prisoner. That's why rex was hesitant to pull the trigger on him because he and all the clones there knew that who ever killed krell would get arrested for not only killing an unarmed prisoner but one who was technically there "superior officer"
They won't. Even though Anakin/Darth Vader killed younglins they didn't cuss him out, nor have they this entire series. Too much anger spoils the entire series.
@@veot.2869 ironic how they are angry with General Pong Krell for being consumed and controlled by the dark side while they are being consumed by the same dark side that fuels their anger towards Krell but hey, they will always try to justify their anger as a righteous one.
Pong Krell would probably be an incredibly successful recruiter for the Dark Side, because he's so vile people would be going Dark just to kill his ass.
A large part of me wishes Anakin was present to witness what Krell did to the clones. Krell would have been wishing for the sweet release of death had Anakin been there.
@StruggleNation There are 2 reasons why krell fell to the darkside. 1.) Because he like many other people in the star wars universe have prejudice against the clones because they aren't viewed as fellow living beings because they were created in a laboratory. As a matter of fact this is one of the reasons why the separatists call the republic "hypocrites" because they claim to be against slavery an yet they literally have an army of test tube grown living beings who literally have no choice in whether or not they want to fight in the war. But the republic claims that it doesn't violate their own anti-slavery laws because they don't even view the clones as living beings, they view the the same way they view droids. 2.) Because krell senes that the jedi order, the republic, and yes even the separatists would fall and the empire would rise to fill the power vacuum. Basically he chose to go to the darkside in the hopes that if he proved himself to both dooku and Palpatine/sidious that he could be useful to them by causing all the carnage and chaos in these battles that he could become dooku's new apprentice and perhaps he could survive the clones wars and be apart of the galactic empire. This wasn't because krell agreed with the separatists or hated the republic, it was all about him surviving by making sure he got to be on the winning team.
I’m glad you both got to this part of the series. I was heated when this was on as well. I was sweating heavily while watching this show. So well written and directed.
Yeah, Krell is super-hateable, but that's the whole point. Dude gets you INVESTED, you can't wait to see something bad happen to him. Then when it finally does, you're like "YEEA that's what ya get!!"
To clarify Krell didn't work with the Separatists nor did he ever want to, in fact the Separatists in this episode, the Umbarans, are people defending their homeworld so they aren't really evil like Krell Since you guys know the original trilogy it's not a spoiler to say that the "rising power" Krell saw in visions was the Empire, and he became a dark user to ensure he joined it to survive
Once I overcame the anger of this arc, I fell in love with Jedi Master Pong Krell for seeing through the delusion of good and justice that consumed the Jedi Order and the Republic. Though I didn't agree with his methods and h8tred for clones, he was right about the Jedi Order being naive, the rise of a new power (Sith and the Empire) and the destruction of the Republic coming from within (Palpatine and Anakin).
@@HolyknightVader999 It was a Dark Side traitor who created Order 66, and only an idiot would think it's a good idea for anyone except the Sith. But your username makes it obvious you're a Sith fanboy, so thanks for proving my point.
@@Roguefem76 Nope. Order 66 was on the books as a contingency order, and the Jedi who purchased the contract for the Clone Army allowed it in as a loophole to kill traitorous Jedi.
As much as I hate Krell, I think there was a reason he wanted to kill the clones, and that reason is Order 66. I think Krell had a force vision and saw all the clones kill the Jedi, so he wanted to take them out before this vision could happen.
Na cuz he said the republic will be ripped apart from the inside , a new power will rise (the empire) so he knows the clones are a big reason y the empire will rise
Pong Krell might have been the worst of the Jedi, but he's not the only Jedi that didn't like or didn't trust clones. This is one of the arcs that undermines Anakin's trust of the Jedi Order, but it also shows why some clones never felt any remorse for the Jedi after Order 66 because the Jedi that led them was someone almost as bad as Krell.

Extra sad fact is the clone that dies in Rex’s arms is one of the clones that helps the little Twi’lek girls in season 1.
She grows up and is in rebels with Hera’s dad
Rip waxer
Credit to Rex and Fives this arc because this entire siege is all them 👏.
Krell will NOT be missed.

It is my favorite clone wars ark because this ark more than any other humanized the clones

@ladiesman Btw, the clones have always been cheap expendables for the Jedi and the Republic, which is why they were bred in the first place.
knowing what happens to all the clones in the future makes this more heartbreaking
We're not droids, we're not programmed.
Damn
So many lines like that foreshadow what’s to come
The clones deserved better….
RIP waxer. We were hyping up this arc so much, hope you enjoyed it though your anger.
In Palpatine voice "Good, use your anger"

Sees Clone War's Notification go off 🎇 🎉 Krell death so satisfying right😂🤘
This arc is probably the most gut wrenching one of the whole series, either this or kenobi vs maul
When krell meet his long overdue fate, millions of star wars fans cried out with joy and couldn't remain silent!
Rip waxer and slipup
Easily one of the best arcs
My discord about me has been “all my homies hate pong krell” for as long as I can remember
Night-Sisters up next!
One of the most hated characters in ALL of Star Wars is General Krell and despite all this he’s still not the most hated.
"Having Coffee with Grievous" ...

Me after seeing Krell get merked: OH YEAH!!! Look at you! You was popping all that good shit a second ago. Then you got shot in yo back!
Theory is that Palps did it to break 501st trust. He knew they were loyal to Anakin and he didnt like that.
That sounds stupid honestly. Considering Anakin needed 501st for Order 66. Hell if anything, this made 501st like Anakin even more.
It hit me so bad, bruh. Just imagine killing your own brothers, your own blood, that's way too traumatic.
Been waiting for this episode since yall started! It only gets better from here too.
now i literally can’t wait for them to get to maul’s arcs
Favorite arc of the series so glad they hate krell as much as we all do hope to see more of the other arcs that are pretty awesome
Just realized why his name is Dogma….clever writers, real clever

Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
It's hard for me to watch them hunt Krell without seeing the Order 66 Jedi hunt to come.
We have to remember the clones are at most 12 and have been engineered from birth to be subservient and follow orders. They are literal slaves.
keep in mind all of this happened because someone got stabbed in the senate
Damn! The hate for Krell is so strong for them that it goes all the way up to Dave Fennoy 🤣
The quality of the show is about to take off
5:30 😔🙏🏽
Poor Dogma, Good soldiers follow orders
They really created him to be a glazer 💀
Dogma represents how bad blind loyalty is
Rip waxer rip hardcase

Jedi like Pong Krell explain why Order 66 exists on the books. Some Jedi can fall really far, justifying such an extreme response.
Nothing justifies Order 66.

501st on TOP! Also, y'all should check out a show called Samurai Champloo, it's FIRE. You have to check it out.
Imma be real if he hadn't killed Krell he would've been a serious problem especially since hes trying to serve dooku
Please react to this movie trailer called the wild robot. It looks and and emotional
The episode I was waiting for!!!! 🙏🏽💪
The episode where Order 66 is justified
This arc was blood boiling 😤
