An Attitude of Gratitude and Finding Happiness in the Moment!

  • We always think that happiness is something that we will get in the future but I believe that happiness, to a certain extent, is a choice that we get to make in the moment.
    It can be very easy to forget the things that we should be grateful for. We have so many distractions in life that pull us from our path and take us off track but if we can remain midful and present then we can keep things in perspective.
    Join me as I undertake a voyage to remind myself daily that I/we have a lot to be grateful for.

      @@BenjaminLeeWright After years and years of worrying... I don't do that, much, either.... Realised that worry and fret, doesn't make a situation worse, just makes me feel bad and situation still the same... Nothing I can do, like worrying, is going to make a difference... It's taken lots of therapy (and meds )to feel this way... Good luck Benjamin in all you do... I'm going to keep following you. First person I ever subbed to 😊

    Hi there from Iowa. I'm grateful for the inspiration, you put out almost 3 years ago. I've been following since and loving being sober. I get the worry and fear but it sure is easier. Fasting and low carbs has also worked. Thank you Mr Wright

    Wow what an outstanding video and great message. This is true be in the here and now, it’s definitely not easy and we all look at the light and the end of the tunnel but don’t enjoy where we are today in the present.
    It’s very hard and I still struggle with what the meaning of happy is for me but I am learning as I go.
    Can’t wait for more video like this it really helps 🙌👏

    First time seeing your video. Not certain totally why but as a retiree at 66 with a pension and satisfying career I have little trouble staying grateful. I’m surprised at myself. Something to look forward to in life’s journey.

    Another great video. I do need to try and be more grateful for the positives, and stop allowing the corporate sociopaths I have to endure at work to drag me down. This will definitely help inspire me to do that.
    Also, love the woodland setting for this video.

    • @BenjaminLeeWright
      @BenjaminLeeWright  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those corporate sociopaths are far to prevelant in today's society unfortunately. I try to remind me myself that I don't respect them in any way and want to be nothing like them. Always helps 💪

    Thanks Benjamin.im thoroughly grateful for your video this evening.as someone who has always seemed to have something to worry about I have learned to manage it somewhat by living in the moment and basically not giving myself the time to worry so much.its a self doubt thing being a creative person.im my own worst critic.i do have to kick the confidence into myself myself and not over analyze my work so much.great video and kind regards Shane 👍

    I have missed spending time with your videos.
    Whilst stationary on my motorcycle last November, I was hit by a car at 65mph, the driver of which prioritised her phone over my life. I am lucky to be alive. I have arthritis in my spine, knees and shoulders, an inguinal hernia and lost my left hamstring in the crash. I still go out building extensions every day and make the most of my physicality. Enjoy the now is life’s greatest achievement.

    A very interesting video. I absolutely recognise the example of anticipation of time off work is often nicer than the actual time off if you have a 'live in the future' mindset (as I do!). I'll think about that one! Thank you.

    Great video Ben. Looking forward to the social media, fasting etc videos. As for gratitude I try to remind myself to be grateful for what I have and the lessons I've learned (usual learned during shit times!). Also thinking of what I'm grateful for as I go to sleep. I used to think all that stuff was horse shit but it really makes you happy realizing you have a lot to be grateful for!
