Your honesty and how relatable you are got me laughing harder than any snl skit I've ever seen, i came here for knowledge, but i also found happiness tysm 👍👍
Hi there, thanks for watching! It was almost a failed project, if I gave up half way, probably it would have been. I had so much fun from making this video for sure! Have a good day!
WOW!!!! Great video. I was going to try making brown sugar. Looks like you proven my theory you can make it home, but without all the chemicals from store bought brown sugar. Again Great video. Thank you
I'll have about 9 sticks of sugarcane growing in my backyard. Though, it is hard labor and takes about 10-12 months for sugarcane to mature, but the knowledge gained from it lasts for a lifetime... I'm searching for the "manufacturer's" process which involves a chemical reaction to segregate the molasses and centrifugal force to separate the molasses from the sucrose done at home but I came across your video. Very informative nonetheless
Even if you don't understand it look_for this and watch what this girl makes with sugarcane juice, similar to Hu.:➡ Saida ZC Así se hace la Panela en Campo

Great video! Just got black sugarcane to plant n was wondering how I could make real sugar once it got big enough. Your step by step process was excellent! Thanks mate!
To answer your question, I only make sugar in this way when making all-natural chocolate bar from cacao bean as a gift for an honoured personage. It is only worth doing this to show great appreciation for somebody that you love very much!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this! We really appreciate that! Totally agree that homemade and handmade is always the most special way show love.
Hi there, thanks for watching! I hope this video can help you a little bit. If you are going to give a try, please let me know how it goes! Thank you! Have a great day!
My father worked at a sugar plant in Sydney Australia. He was the carpenter. He made the wooden stirring spades. These were as big as boat ores. They wore away fast. Apparently there is a lot of that wood in the brown sugar. lol. My uncle worked as an engineer on one of the sugar boats bringing the sugar down from Queensland. They put molasses on the anchor chain and that attracted so many fish that they regularly filled a fridge with fresh fish.
Waoh! Quite excited about this video.... just bring such kind of ideas to my fellow Kenyans especially this time... I'm quite sure many of us gonna use the same idea to make our own sugar using the sugarcanes in our home compound! Mimi hata sitanunua sukari tena ata hio bei ya ksh 230..imezidi!😅
"I already plannned my failed thumbnails," hahahah that's awesome. So glad you made this video, I bought sugar cane randomly and didn't know what to do with it
You can buy a simple hand crank cane press that will crush the cane and extract the juice right into a bowl or pitcher. Way faster and easier than using a blender. When I lived in Ecuador I used to buy fresh cane juice on the streets. It was delicious. You can do the same yourself then boil it down.
I think a better and less tiring method is buy the sugar cane extractor, candy thermometer and hand mixer. At about the hard ball stage, you use a mixer to agitate it and make sugar crystals
There's a very simple sugarcane juice extractor you can get. It squeezes out the juice by pinching it between two rollers; part of a nice refreshing drink on a hot day made with lemon or lime juice.
Hi there, thanks for watching and the tip for the audiences! Regards this video was just an experiment, I suppose it wasn’t cost effective for me to invest on a proper sugar cane juicer, right? lol And I totally agree with the sugar cane juice on a hot day especially just out of the fridge!!! I hope you enjoyed watching this video, and have a great day!
Really really I would try to as soon as possible thank you in my country the one kilogram of sugar it's going to 100 25 Ethiopian bear which means like around I don't know where you are country but really I appreciate also you the way you explain and the way you do also with you use tools is very easy for us we are not found some big tools so thank you my brother God bless you stay happy

Hi, i love your channel! just wondering if you kept on stirring when the sugar was in the heat proof pan and if you turned off the heat at 124 degrees F or C? I'm definitely trying this at home, thanks:)
Hi there. Thanks for watching. I have been occasionally stirring it. And the temperature is C. If there is any other questions, please feel free to get in touch.
Hi there, thanks for watching! I stirred the liquid until the temperature hit 120 degrees Celsius. Depends on how much liquid/sugar cane you got, I haven’t got much sugar cane so it only took me about 10-12 mins.
You need to collect the sugarcane juice from a crusher. After making the syrup you need to blend it with blender while it is hot. If you do so the taste would be great.
Hi there. Thanks for watching! As I stated in the video that we are not professional sugar making people, the whole video was just an experiment. Have a great day!

Hmmm. You probably could just keep it in lump form and use a grater as needed. Piloncillo is in one solid piece.

Question: what'd you do with the blended sugar cane?
I'm wanting to make sugar, but don't want to waste the plant.
After you squeeze the juice from the blended sugar cane, put the sugar cane in your compost. You really can't do much else with it.
@@PamIam04 I figured as much.
