How do you get the juice out if you don't have an industrial machine?
You can see my video you will know how I get sugarcane juice
From market
I just chop mine into small chunks and boil it with extra water. After about an hour you can pull them out and squeeze them if you'd like.

I see that you boiled off the water but then re-added the water, so what's the benefit of this extra step? Just so you can cook it longer? Thanks
Without adding extra water, the final molasses will not turn to liquid and it will harden like taffy
@@v87garden couldn’t you just reduce it less in the first place? Or do you want it to cook longer for more of the deep flavor?
Yes cook it until it has a deep flavor
Your channel is good. You should have more viewers. Hope people will soon find your channel. Keep making good videos buddy..
Thanks, will do!
Is it edible?
Yes it is. But it has a distinct bittersweet flavor.
Is it fit for human consumption
No it is not, it is use for agriculture purposes
thanks for sharing
My pleasure
Can I do this with just sugar?
Yes you can. I also have other video how to make molasses from sugar
Is it the same benefit make it from sugar
No
it is a core ingredient for ethanol preparation
Could use this same molasses for baking?
Sorry, I am not sure this molasses use for baking
Why add water? Why don't stop at the same liquidity ?
I add water because I need liquid molasses at the final. if we not add water the molasses will not turn to liquid and it will harden like taffy
I think the answer to this is that you need full caramelization, that's why you need very low liquidity, then you add back water for texture.
good job!
Thanks!
