  • Creating more speed can help almost any golfer and creating effortless speed with this simple method is the easiest way to do it, unfortunately so many get this wrong.
    Golfers trying to create more speed are often trying to do it incorrectly and end up lunging, rushing or throwing themselves at the golf ball in an attempt to gain speed. This method uses the natural weight and forces of the golf club to help propel it around your body with more speed giving you longer drives with less effort.
    So if you want effortless speed in your golf swing try this method

    This video was an excellent, clear, and logical explanation of how to get proper club head speed. This explanation is the first time I got the difference between the small and large muscles with when each should be applied. Thanks so very much.

    Fantastic! This is a great thought. Most golfers think they want to drive the ball and using their muscles mainly for it. They do not relax to make the speed happens by using the club weight. Thanks a lot. I actually try this and found that golf is much more fun and easier.

    92 mph😮 with one hand…I’m 45, 69kg, 1.82m… and I have to make a lot of effort with two hands to create 90mph with my driver 😢, normally my speed is lower. I'm definitely not very fit but I think my problem is that my technique is wrong, I don't know what is wrong but given the results it is evident that I am wasting energy instead of transferring it to the club and then to the ball. Greetings from Italy

    Getting away from the big muscles and focusing on hands and arms. Good man Chris, need to see more of this from golf pros online. Key to speed and clubface control also. Padraig Harrington's TH-cam channel videos on clubface control and using/flipping the wrists are great and well worth watching also. The fear of over using the wrists have hindered so many golfers but Harrington does a great job of explaining the difference between flipping and using them properly. Continue the great work 💪👍

    Excellent video Chris on how the design of a golf club causes it to work properly! I have been doing as you have suggested through a lighter grip, looser wrists and forearms! The club feels so much lighter and I can definitely feel the club head better. Thus, I am able to generate a lot more speed in my swing and hitting a lot more solid shots with both woods and irons. Always enjoy your videos! Keep up the good work!!

      When your arms are not tense and your wrists are loose, the club should feel heavier.

    Chris, I literally was explaining this to a playing partner of mine. He wonders how at 5’6” 160lbs, I’m able to hit it pass him by 30-40 yards with a driver in hand. I told him you use big muscles to guide the ball, I use my last two levers(arms and hands) to go thru the ball with speed…

    If it’s to do with the momentum from the weight of the club head, just think how fast you hit a ball with Thor’s hammer 😂
    Thank you for another brilliant lesson Chris, very useful!

  • @systemoptimizer3542
    @systemoptimizer3542 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I very much agree with and highly advocate producing speed using the club's weight, momentum, and swinging of the arms as opposed to heaving and lunging with the body. However I sometimes see (and fall into the pitfall myself) of the body to start moving too little and the arm sliding up and down the chest with abduction occuring, the arms being too deep across the chest, and them having to add effort (and not having enough time to catch up) on the way down. Any tips or suggestions on how to swing with the clubs and arms while not abducting and loosing the width between hands/arms and the chest/head in the backswing, at the top, and during transition?

  • @epicragegaming2016
    @epicragegaming2016 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    you said it perfectly " let the ball get in the way of the motion" its why our practice swings are always "the ones" and we miss hit the ball, because we are doing 2 different things. swinging, and trying to hit the ball. when it becomes the same thing, the results become the same.

      Bought the sc300i a few weeks ago, easy to use, good accuracy and no phones to mess with and all the data I need. Also an ok app. No good if you want simulator but i'm just after data on the course. Amazon was the cheapest i could find👍

    • @systemoptimizer3542
      @systemoptimizer3542 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I own a sc300i, and recommend it if you want to know your carry and total distances, swing speed, backspin, apex height, smash factor, ball speed, and some other very useful numbers. If you're just concerned with knowing if one swing technique leads to faster swing than another then just a basic swing speed radar will work fine for that.
