Hey Tommy watching your videos as have a friends rd9 here and doing a bakc to back comparison with the RE909. Have to say your videos are absolute joy to watch mate... This is exactly the kind of joy the world needs
Thank a lot! If you haven't done it already; check out "Lennart Regebro" YT channel. He makes a really detailed comparison between the TR-909 and the RD-9.
I won't pretend I understood most of this, regardless of how fast i stroke my beard, but it was interesting and entertaining non the less. You make a good teacher.
Yes, I will upload all the documentation (Gerber, BOM, schematic diagram) to my GitHub when the project is completed. And my aim is to build all the voices one by one.
Very thorough description, thank you. I wouldn't have expected a bass drum to include noise, but then again I never had a real 909 so I wouldn't know. Will you be making the PCB and Panel available in your shop?
Thanks Chris, I haven't made up my mind if I should make a product out of it yet, to be honest. I might need to redesign it a bit first, to make it more production-friendly and I also want to add a couple of features, but more on that in the next episode...

Thanks Clive,
Yeah, that's a lot of information in a very short time....😄
I can't wait to see more, good series.
Thanks!
If you gonna release a PCB project? And next 909 sounds? Beacuse i want TR-909 and dosen't need to sell a kidney

That was intense, but pretty clear 😃
Yes it was! As much circuit analysis that I could squeeze in around the 5 minutes mark 😅
