This is one of the best ways to spend the money. You & your family enjoy the trip and the money spent pump back into the economy. A win win situation. I would love to drive all over the Indian continent one day. I'm from America, and have traveled almost all the 50 states of the US and all eastern and western Canada as well.
Thanks for your kind words. It is one of my dreams to rent an RV and drive around the vast and beautiful America. There are some very good organized road drives in India these days, which you want to consider.
I chanced upon this video and it gave a real kick to now plan our family trip from Chennai to Kolkata!! We had done one trip from Delhi-Chandigarh-Wagah Border- Manali - Kufri and return with my 3 years daughter and wife. 10 days awesome trip. Now i am again charged!! Thanks!
Fantastic. I did a 44 hours BLR - KoL trip (inclusive of 2 hours traffic at GT road). Me and my brother, My Wife and 2 kids in a Palio. We drove all the way to Balugaon near Chilka driving 23 hours continuously. Second day by 4 PM we reached Kolkata. Video taken by you is really fantastic...Wish you do many more such trips.
great trip and very creative coverage. I am a vivid traveler by heart with the same family proportion as yours. I wish I had a family friend like yours to share great indian travels. HAPPY VACATIONS TO YOU...
Wonderful family, your baby is so cute! Allah is so kind there is no unexpected matter in your whole trip to Kolkata and its a great pleasure to be with parents on special occasions! Driving and rest are equally important and you do it very comfortably! I wish i can do it in Bangladesh! thanks
I enjoyed your video - it nicely captures a family journey. Good to see some shots of Kolkata - I love that city and have spent many happy times there as it is my wife's home city. Great to hear song clips from one of our favourite Indian movies (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara).
No words to express how happy I felt just by watching your video. Everything was perfect. I felt like I was traveling with you guys. Make more travel videos!
one of the best videos to come out of india, well narrated with clear pronunciation of words and pretty professional. I like the way you first show the map so that we can get the context of the journey and then jump into video. Also the length is perfect.
awesome buddy, we had been to kolkotta but root was diffrent, FROM KR PURAM to thirupathi road and vizag and palasa to babhuneshwar and kolkotta. very nice remember all these place. good and happy fun, keep posting when u find time
Stumbled upon this video of yours, my wife says its out of the world. We too traverse such long distances , being in the armed forces. Regards Mrs and maj Bose
Hello sir, This is an excellent video. I have found this video recently only and it gives a feel good feeling evertime when seeing it. And also will give some travel ideas to a lot of people just like it gave to me. And such a lovely family as well. Thank you. And keep posting more such travel and warm videos.
At the outset, absolutely it was a pleasure to watch. It was a lot different than similar road trip videos. Noticed that you are my kind of a person. Planning well for a trip with “what if option A doesn’t work”. Glad that you started this video with a glimpse into the planning phase, packing etc.; showing your daughter pack her suitcase was good; a message to children of the same age. It was a pleasant surprise to hear your daughter taking over the narration part right from the start. Another message right there to children of the same age. Other similar videos mostly has the gentleman getting into the narration part too. Very happy that you also included some sightseeing. Intent of your road trip was different, being a short vacation trip unlike others. Their intent was to temporarily shift the “work from home base” to their hometown for few months. Their aim was to reach the destination as fast as they can, so that they can start working. Your intent of the whole trip made watching your vlog with more interest. Well, continue to share more road trip vlogs. One happy family for sure. May god bless you all. Good luck! 👍

Shuva brata dada you gave us a very beautiful road trip & adventure video i don't know why some people are dislike it.i liked your trip very much & i will do same road trip shortly.
Very good video Sir, it's one of my life goals, Roadtrip across the country. Just one question, how was the condition of roads in the entire stretch, is it good ? Specially in Orrisa, and was there any stretch was expressway (access controlled entry and exits, both sides barricaded) or is it just a highway all along from Bangalore till Kolkata ??
Shiv, The roads in Orissa are all standard highway. No extra tax. In some border areas, lot of trucks slow you down for a short stretch, but you are allowed through.
very nice *** SHUVA : could you please tell me how safe is the ROAD ? how safe to travel with wife and daughter ? Because I hear so many stories in DELHI where my niece lives to Kolkata : how safe ? I am worried about BIHAR &UP : I HAVE TO GO WTIH 3 FEMALES 1 MALE : 3 TEENAGE AND 2 ADULTS WE are planning to DELHI TO KOLKATA > ORISSA > BANGALORE > MUMBAI .
skylark304 not sure about Delhi Kolkata, but Kolkata to Blore is all national highway. Good roads, safe. Drive only in the day for better safety. All the best.
Excellent video and superb editing. I'm planning a Hyderabad-Kolkata trip sometimes this year and this video is really helpful in planning. Keep uploading more content.
hats of to yu driving al de way kolkata n back to bangalore..... journey was priceless and enjoyed watching you guys and giving all the information about routes.... thanks shuva
Nice video. You should have given the distances you covered each day, from city to city , road contitions and such vital info. that would have helped future travelers. After all, that is the purpose of posting such videos here I think.
Good to see the video . People do not value the importance of family trips in there busy life. Wish you come up with more such trip videos . Even I would like to do the same.

Please answer one question: you travelled almost 4500 kms, the question is, max how many kms you travelled in a single day and after how many kms you felt tiredness while driving verna ?
naman Saxena 800 was max in one day from Vijaywada to Bhubaneswar. Not a good idea though. Verna is not tiring. Tiredness depends on many factors. I get more tired driving to airport at bangalore :-)
@Naman Saxena.. Dude, the fluidic verna which he is driving in this video is super smooth.. fluidic verna is a really a Good car. Steering is lite and engine is super smooth, you feel like driving some high end cars like Benz. Same applies to old uber cool I gen i20... so there is no question of tiredness while driving these cars. Unfortunately Hyundai is not giving the same cars these days.
