Maybe someone know how mutch more do these calipers stick out than stock GS or LS 90-94 calipers, I'd love to upgrade, but I already have nice aftermarket wheels so I wonder if these calipers would fit. Now the gap between stock caliper and rim spokes around 10mm, I know that in theory I could use spacers but my 8J rims sit very close to the fender arch
Hey those alloys 18 10 38 did you roll arches, use spacers etc. want same for my gs430 but im unsure if theyll fit. Want no rubbing at all ofc. m down to roll arches but thats as far as id like to go
I did not roll. It's not recommended on the GS of this vintage, particularly the rear. If anything, you typically cut the inner lip. I don't have rubbing up front. (265 width tires). I do have light rubbing in the rear during compression with 285s. I feel if I cut/shave the inner fender it would alleviate it. I'm about 1-2" lower than stock.
You don't have to change the inserts. You can reuse the OEM GS hardware. You will require RCA spacers however to avoid contact with the steering arm connection at the knuckle/hub. Otherwise it is a complete bolt on modification.
What are your wheel specs? I was looking into Rpf1 in black chrome but may have to settle for the stock silver. Would help a ton if you could give me full wheel specs and possible suspension specs too.
18 x 10 +38 all around. Requires 5mm spacer up front for clearance of calipers and upper knuckle arm. In rear you may need to trim the lip on the inside of the fender-well if you are running wide tires - my 285s slightly rub without trimming at full compression. A 275 probably would not. Because Lexus designed the car to have the stock rear wheels sit further inboard than the front on these cars, putting something up front that is more like a 9 or 9.5" to effectively reduce the offset by around 10mm would be what I would do if I were to start over. Suspension modifications are minimal - just lowered about 1-1.5" from stock with upgraded struts. Stock alignment.
The bronze wheels look great against the green car. I have cinnabar pearl and want to do the same wheels. I also did the 2jzgte vvti swap.

Hey do you still have the oem ls400 threaded inserts for the calipers? I know you have to change them to the offset ones for the gs300

Looks nice , did you have to use a RCA
Yes. RCA is required for these calipers to fit.
What’s your wheel specs?
18x10 +38
I make 6pot brembo brake adopters 👌🏼 not a cheap upgrade tho
