I bought a pair of bearpaw boots they are styled like uggs but the brand is Bearpaw and I thought I bought brown but I got wine purple fast forward about a year and they have coconut oil stains all along the tops and I didn't know what to do with them. I thought they were ruined and then of course other problems so I use the chalk method I used the brown chalk on them in fact just rubbed it in thick brown chalk and it was amazing how it cleaned up those wine purple boots I'm floored well done young lady and thank you so much. 💐💐💐💐❤️🐈✡️

This video is very helpful. A while back, I had gotten gas all over my clothes and UGG boots (faulty gas pump). I tried to use baking soda to absorb the gasoline and then tried to clean the boots 2 times after. I also stuffed them with newspaper. The newspaper absorbed the moisture and some of the gas fumes. Although, they were cleaner but still smelled of gas. Any recommendations for how to get gasoline out of clothes and especially my boots?

It would be great if people would get off their soap box. If you do not like to wear leather or suede do not watch this and you will not be offended. I think also that Ugg Boots originated in Australia and were not meant to be an outdoor boot but rather a slipper. If you only wore them indoors then the dirt and stains would be far less of a problem. Thank for an informative video.

I washed a pair in the washing machine on gentle with a wool detergent and they came our perfect... but an older pair fell apart during the same treatment lol I don’t buy ugg brand shearling boot so the $ risk isn’t as great so I will continue doing this
the flop happens when you don't care to pull your uggs on and you put too much pressure on the middle of the back weakening it..same reason they look floppy and deformed on overweight people, they become mishapen from the pressure. Make sure they are not too tight, and take care putting them on and then if you clean them YOU MUST stuff them as they dry or they will become droopy.

Erin Griffiths I cleaned mine with water and they discolored worse than the original stain. It’s way better to dry clean them & don’t touch them until you do. I did follow directions on the UGG care kit and they were still damaged. I’ve read reviews for the kit where others said the same.
Hi I just love watching your video's,another idea for your bag is to put socks into the bag and put it into the washing machine and you wont louse any.
Any white canvas shoes can be cleaned safely by wetting the shoe and making a paste of comet and a little water. Use a tooth brush to scrub extra dirty areas a d then use it to pack the comet paste on the entire shoe and let them dry completely...then simply brush the dry comet off and waa-laa!

Sorry... if you only use the wool, you don't need to kill them (it's like shaving them...) But leather/fur is the sheep's skin and hair, so guess what? I think the sheeps would rather be killed than walk around without skin :P
Actually you do need to kill them... The boot is made out of sheepskin. I don't know about you but I've never seen a sheep living without skin. Ofcourse they use the rest of the sheep for meet and other purposes so it's not solely just for boots, but still, they do need to kill them.

Was walking for miles in cold, wet, deep snow. UGGS I was wearing were completely soaked. Totally wet inside and out. I could not stop. There was no buses, no taxis or even cars passing . No chance to hitch a ride to take me home . Just kept walking . I'm seventy years old, I don't like being cold !!! Sure was grateful I did not have rubber or plastic boots on . I would have been dry in the rubber but rubber is always cold , Plastic is cold plus cracks and leaks in the foul weather. UGGS were warm as toast all the way home. Wet yes... warm just the same. Just like the sailors say about blankets... wet or dry, wool is warm. These unconscientious objectors mouthing off here are likely unaware of the fact we would not have lasted as a human race without animals and trees . Food, clothing and shelter... are deal breakers in the survival game.
Indeed. Though I would like to move a more vegan lifestyle, I bought a pair of Bearpaw boots just before Xmas as I have learned that leather/suede footwear such as doc marts, last almost forever. I'm in the UK and the weather this winter is hitting the minuses where I am with snow, frost, sleet, ice and I have to say that I am so grateful that I have my Paws, especially when you're someone that is easily cold.
apparently Uggs were popular in Australia with surfers, so I was trying to picture wearing them with wet feet lol! now that I read your comment about wool being warm regardless - it makes sense. & walking for miles in the snow with your feet soaking wet sounds really awful. I’d probably be crying during the whole walk since my body doesn’t handle the cold well. especially with no buses or cars to ask for a ride (I never ask strangers for rides regardless but I do ride the bus everyday since I don’t have a car).
