Cordelia doesn't need call servants, now shes a dual gunslinger! If I had this game with the DLC I'd always leave one spot on my party reserved for her. But how would she get any work done for the adventurers guild if she always goes on adventures with Totori?
Playing this game in Japanese just gives me this intense deja-vu of Eureka Seven every time Totori and GIno are on the scene together. I still have no idea why Yuuko Sanpei almost always voices guys but she's pretty good at it.
wow amazing exhibition. hey after seeing miss Mimi´s attack, i couldn´t help but to imagine her fighting against miss Remilia(from touhou). ...it would be an interesting match.
Guys I realize there are plenty Altier series on the ps3 . Are they linked as in sequals or they are seperated games? if they are can i have the games in order? because i wanna play them. Love the Altier and Mana Series in PS2 Btww
Daryl Pang you probably know by now but rorona->totori->meruru (arland series), Ayesha->Escha&Logy->Shallie (dusk series), Sophie->Firis->Lydie&Suelle (mysterious series)
Incredible how people can still insist that the Japanese voices are better. You really think that someone like Melvia would squeak like a mouse on helium? I know it is generally taken as a personal insult if other people choose to use the English voices, but it is also important to note that not everyone gives in to popular opinions.
Melvia's voice in english is one of the few I enjoy but that's mostly because they actually use a fitting voice. That said, even though you say that, I'd liked the other characters her Japanese VA has voiced so I cant hate her Japanese voice either. Also, there's one more reason people hate the English track in the Atelier series. The original Japanese voice track has almost all the optional events (and even the synthesis and shop dialogue) voiced. The English track only voiced main events and almost all character and optional events went unvoiced. In a game that's prettymuch 50% optional events (if notmore) that means that half the gameyou'll just be reading along to silent scenes.
I like the japanese voices in most cases (when watching anime for instance) but in this game I highly prefer the english ones over the japanese ones. I have grown tired of the high pitched voices that almost all female characters have in japanese. When I get this game I'm going to play it in english dub.
bast963 A game where, with the right ingredients, you can throw an ice bomb that can also poison, curse, burn, shock you, pelt you with rocks, and drain their mana. You will NEVER know what hit you.
I fucking love RPG's, same with strategy and adventure games. (I rarely like an FPS or TPS) But this game just looks like a lump of shit, don't just presume I only like shooting games because I think a the Japanese are failing like crazy at making RPG's lately.
Mimi is truly a badass. That animation followed by "You are no match for me". Ultimate Badass.
Totori: What should I do?
Big sister: I dont know, hit the bastard with your rod or fists or feet or something.
@ShinGallon yep, theres a japanese voice option but it defaults to english, just need to go to options and changed it before you start.

I like how Mel putting down her axe for her Ult implies she hits way harder without it

is it just me who thinks this game would be more addictive if it was 2D like past Atelier games? o.o
wew......EPIC game xD
Cool
Nice! I love Rorona the most here. XD
This is still not enough
Cordelia is very powerfull :o

unfortunally, meruru is way too pink for me.
Rorona child form in Meruru is the cuttest one ever.
I hear Wendee Lee's voice...

While I mainly used the English voices in the Atelier series, I have to admit that Marc's japanese dubbing of his ultimate is comedy gold for me!

英語版かっこいい!
アトリエシリーズは本当にオモロイですよね(b・ω・)b
Do they not have a Japanese voice option? If not that's a serious oversight in a modern JRPG...
how do you get a critical hit with a FUCKING ELIXIR? WHAT KIND OF JRPG IS THIS?

Wait, so they translate the dialogue and voice it in English so that people won't use the English voices? I'm not following your logic here...
日本語の声優はアメリカよりクールだぜ
Rorona is way cutter than totori...easily.
If I had a Waifu, it would be Totori :3
4:51 to 4:55 Convenient Censoring? O_O
Glass Element did nothing wrong.
....there are barely any guys...
Too bad they don't have more skills....
this game looks so wicked but i hear the story has no epicness too it. no wicked villian or anything like that
totori is mine!!!! HAHAHAHA
>english dub
