I've been on my red deer grind for over a year now and I still haven't come across my first great one. 😓 I hope he comes soon, I'm very excited to start grinding for a fallow GO but I don't feel like I could start it without finishing my first one. Here's to hoping 🤞
Lol I've committed a few months (basically since I started playing on PC at the beginning of this year, really) to my first ever grind, for a Whitetail. Still don't have him, though herd management (sort of?) has got me a few rares and some nice diamonds. But I do feel bad kinda for double grinding for a fallow and him at the same time lol. Like, he was supposed to be 'the first' haha. And I live in darn near the whitetail mecca of the world, so it would be fitting. So I feel your conflict!!

congrats on the fallow GO i currently on my fallow grind hopefully it doesnt take long as ive been grinding for the other GO's and not had any yet and the fallow are my favourite species, i really want the painted fur with irish elk rack, love the vids keep it up

@@justjessie5907 To make it simple just shoot the 3s, 4s, and 5s for the fallow deer and leave the 2s as is and eventually you’ll spawn that great one! Good luck 👍

Red deer will always have a place in my heart as the best great one because i shot my first great one which was a red deer on my birthday last year

Found the GO fallow yesterday on my fresh Australia map, which is insane considering the amount of time some people spend trying to get one. I wonder if I was insanely lucky or if the chance of a GO appearing on a new map is higher than it should be.
The new Australia map is amazing. I just found a random Dismomd fallow without even grinding them. But a great one without looking is just mind-blowing. Well done!
I have extreme herd managed red deer on te awaroa. Does it affect the fallow grind and Should I undo it as best as I can before I start grinding for the fallow today? As always great vid!
It shouldn't effect the fallow.

I just noticed today, some level 3s have max weight estimates now! Like to 100kg, i tracked a solo zone and found out it was a lvl 3 with that estimate not a 4/5
I want a G1 fallow so bad, but after the update, almost all my fallow zones disappeared. I have fallow 9 zones across my entire map, and some of them have nothing in them. I'm still going to attempt to get one, but its definitely going to take a while if it ever happens

What type of grind do you recommend for the whitetail? Herd management or just shooting everything?
Depends on what you want. If you just want a great one then kill all bucks, if you want super rares & tons of diamonds then HM is best.

Shoot all 3s and up unless its a 3 that has the same rack as a 2

I got a diamond fallow deer yesterday 🎉 270 score
I might like the new map more than SRP crazy
Crow I messed up a diamond sambar bc it moover right as I took the shot. And a level 9 fox trolled me
Today I got a 1080 max weight croc and 1 hour later I got a 227 axis deer and the next zone I go for axis deer I get a 225
My first level 9 kangaroo was a guaranteed diamond and it was fleeing made a bad shot wasn't able to get a follow up so I messed up a diamond roo
I swear I saw the great one and got up and yelled he got the great one and ran through the house just screaming and my mom just sat and watched like what in the world is he doing
