Hi mate thanks for the video. I've just done this on my car . The case was a nightmare to get free but got there in end. Everything seemed to go well but now when I accelerate u hear a slight rattle in the cabin. Doesnt rattle when reving stationary just when accelerating. Any ideas?
Mine started to rattle after I removed the engine cover, I just loosened the 2 bolts on top and moved it a bit towards the front end of the car and it worked.
Hi great video, I was wondering if you have to disconnect the battery before doing this. And you say the Bosch filter is the same as the BMW dealer ones they sell?thanks
@@reeceburr733 Hi thanks for your response really appreciate it, I have 2006 320d m47n2 tourer I'm only getting 24mpg and irregular start up with blue smoke but only in cold weather and first start in cold whether I'm hoping changing the filter and cleaning the egr will help solve the problems. No need to disconnect the battery before doing this and yes Bosch filter is the same as the BMW dealer

can you put an aftermarket air filter there ? will it fit ?
You can buy cheaper ones but generally Bosch is about £15-£20. Not worth cheaping out imo.
