    Blanching vegetables is a process by which the vegetables are slightly heated up with boiled water, to stop the enzymes from making the veg, go bad.
    Blanching helps to kill the species of (seen or unseen) bacteria that grows on the veg.
    Blanching helps keep the texture, flavour and colour of the vegetables intact and fresh.
    Try blanching your veggies and you would be glad you did.
