Kate that bird cage is absolutely adorable; no kidding, no hesitation; no voice shooting up an octave in haste to reassure you like mums do, bless them all! 😉 it's lovely xx
I love that birdcage!!! The candlestick! Wow! Mushrooms 🍄 awesome picture frame 👌 dolls amazing! Hanging lamp!! Wonderful Wonderful! You both do amazing crafts!! Love it all!!!
When I was younger, I would go camping with my grandma, grandpa and cousins. We would go to the mountains in New Mexico. We would often go hiking and end up on “Bead Hill” where we would search for small beads that the Native Americans had made years and years ago., I guess it was a kind of mudlarking though no mud lol but lots of dirt. I never found whole beads but found a lot of halves. My grandma had a tiny jar she kept the whole beads she found. We also searched for arrow heads.
We still find seed beads in the ant hills. Lots of arrow heads around our house too. Thank you for taking me back to the camping trips with my grandparents!
As a miniaturist myself I appreciate the “eye” required to see pins, beads, and pipe stem pieces as candlesticks and bird cages. I really enjoy watching your crafting videos. And of course your mudlarking ones as well.
Thank you Lori! We absolutely love miniatures, we'd love to see some of your makes! Starting the dolls house has opened up lots of new opportunity's for some of the finds we may have initially overlooked, and it is so fun thinking of ideas of what to use the various pieces as in the house.
I love the birdcage and the lamp. The best dollhouses are handmade with enjoyment and love. Keep it up. Perfection too often stops personal artistic endeavors and makes for a lot of unfinished projects. I was so excited this morning to see a video from you. Thanks for something different.
Thank you for saying that Christie! You're so right! Almost everything in the dolls house is handmade, and more than a little wonky, but we love it for that... even though it is a little hard sometimes to accept that what we make doesn't look how we imagined it in our heads, haha. Thank you for joining us!

Thank you Christie! Their house is coming along slowly, our next job is making some more furniture we think, and some more members of the family... and maybe a garden! We have lots of plans, haha
I so enjoyed your crafting using the items you have found. I imagine someday you will have children/grandchildren who will be enthralled with the doll house. They will have the unique privilege of looking at videos of you on your adventures and making the items they will see in the dolls house. It must be so satisfying to think of things to make and then using the items you find to make them.
I'm impressed with your crafting skills ladies, it's not easy handling tiny objects especially those tiny beads, I love your dolls house and all the detail.
I’ve said this before, I sure wish I belonged to your family. I admire all of you and I would be right at home laying on my belly looking for anything. I love your music choices although I cry with sadness that my mother never spent any time with me. I’m always happy to watch your videos! 💕

Your crafts turned out lovely! An artist is always their own worst critic. The candlesticks are adorable, what wonderful imaginations you have. Hope you are both feeling better now and your leg is healing Fleur. Lovely video, so relaxing and with Sunny cat purring in the background I feel completely chilled 😊 x
I was so happy when you showed your creative “mess”. Made me so happy. I work, create & make in just such a mess. Thank goodness. Your teeny tiny crafts were genius. The candlesticks almost made me cry they were so perfect. The little pictures divine. Your Moggy is a very interesting creature. I suspect he’s not actually a cat. More a little imp in disguise. He’s just so happy to be living with you. And he’s a bit of a history buff.
I am so sorry you all have been ill. Big hugs for everyone. The creativity and work that goes into your crafts is lovely. I don't have a creative bone in my body. Thank you for all you do.
Have you got a new lens?!?? The close ups are absolutely incredible. Commenting as we’re watching, that lid would have been amaaazing 😍 but loving the teeny tiny beads and small stoneware. Anyway, back to watching! X
We brought our attachable macro lens with us this time, and now don't know why we hadn't thought to do it sooner, haha! Fingers crossed one day we'll find a complete printed lid, although it is unlikely. Thank you for watching Mudpies! x
It is sweet how you capture all the small creatures and plants. I dislike spiders but found myself saying “Awe! It’s so cute!” Y’all bring a magic to this world that can’t be learned.
Here is a suggestion a small tiny vase that was broken in half could be glued on the outside of your dollhouse as a wall pocket and it could hold teeny little silk 💐 💜
I think everything turned out nice. I do miniatures and it isn't always easy working with such tiny things. It is nice to see more things going into your doll house!
Your doll house is amazing! Loved all the crafts, especially the tiny bird cage. Such wonderful imaginings built from cast aways. Sometimes when you pick things up I wonder what on earth you could possibly make out of these little found objects. It's delightful. Absolutely Brilliant Kate. love the birdhouse and you remind me so much of myself when i was younger, making doll house parts and furnishings out of finds.
The mystery item maybe made from Terracotta: 'Made in Germany' is helpful as it puts a bit of a date on it. The label was introduced in the UK in 1887 to distinguish and 'protect' products manufactured in the UK from imported goods, particularly from Germany at this time.
As I was typing that you should make a pot where the entire first layer right next to the base was those faces; you said it! But you proposed you go for a whole piece of pottery! Great minds! 👍
Not only a great adventure today but some lovely makes for the dolls house too.The birdcage came out beautiful as did the lights and the necklace for the doll..I love the cream pot ,very tactile looking .I also like the piece of pottery with the triangle on and the three fingerprints in it.Some other nice finds too 🥰
I suggest you carry long tweezers, a soft tooth brush & spray bottle, along with a compartmentalized plastic case. Tools could be hung on a belt or clip, to always have st hand.
I love your doll house things. The three partial figures on the ledge (Two without heads) looked pretty judgemental, with one having his arms crossed and one with a head with a hand on hip. I would tell them to chill. The video was very soothing, and I needed that today.

The mystery item maybe made from Terracotta: 'Made in Germany' is helpful as it puts a bit of a date on it. The label was introduced in the UK in 1887 to distinguish and 'protect' products manufactured in the UK from imported goods, particularly from Germany at this time.
Thank you for that information, that is really useful! :)
I just cannot get enough of your videos. Honestly, I'm hooked!
Ahh thank you Gretta that is truly appreciated xx
Love all the things you make.
Your doll house is amazing!
Please keep going on with your wonderful adventures and letting us come along. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much! :)
As I was typing that you should make a pot where the entire first layer right next to the base was those faces; you said it! But you proposed you go for a whole piece of pottery! Great minds! 👍
Love the dollhouse makes 😍
Thank you Dawn! We love making them!
What an amazing doll house. You can see all the love that goes into it.
Thank you! :)
❤️❤️ those teeny candlesticks!
Enjoyed it very much....and lovely dollhouse lamp and birdcage...have a good week!
You two are amazing!!! All that you do is incredible! I am from America and I find mudlarking fantastic!!!
Thank you so much! :)
Not only a great adventure today but some lovely makes for the dolls house too.The birdcage came out beautiful as did the lights and the necklace for the doll..I love the cream pot ,very tactile looking .I also like the piece of pottery with the triangle on and the three fingerprints in it.Some other nice finds too 🥰
Thanks so much 😊
I suggest you carry long tweezers, a soft tooth brush & spray bottle, along with a compartmentalized plastic case. Tools could be hung on a belt or clip, to always have st hand.
I've only just now seen this particular video. What an amazing project. And your cat (Sonny or is it Sunny?) is the best.
I love your doll house things. The three partial figures on the ledge (Two without heads) looked pretty judgemental, with one having his arms crossed and one with a head with a hand on hip. I would tell them to chill. The video was very soothing, and I needed that today.
We love finding those little figures headless or not haha :)
Love all of your makes.....
So do admire you vision and execution for the doll house. Splendid video.
Thank you :)
Hi girls what a wonderful video I love all your little treasures and crafts, and Sonny is such a love bug!
Thank you so much 🤗
