We’re very sorry, but we seemed to have left out the part where we find the “pumpkin” dolls lid we used in the craft… it was the cut off point between the two films 😅 We will be including us finding it at the end of the next film! Sorry again, hope you enjoy anyway x

OH! WOW!! That glass battery case!! Your face, Fleur, shear unmitigated joy ! Beach combers rule # 1 finders keepers: so whatever you choose to do with your find is your business. BRAVA!! KIT for working on that clump from last week, excellent results from your diligence. Thank you both for saving those lovely old bottles with their Bakelite tops. I remember my Nana's dressing table and her beautiful old refillable perfume atomizers with their silk tassels. A lovely ending for my week, a trip to Treasure Beach. I hope, Fleur, that by now your leg has healed. Have an amazing weekend ladies.

I have been watching your videos only for a few months and subscribed only after the very first I watched. I have to tell you that I love the watching the awesome relationship between mother and daughter spending such a great amount of time together doing something that you both love. I also have to say you both are so talented repairing and making things out of things that you find. I realize this is a old video but I hope you get the notification about this comment and see it. I absolutely love this channel you bring much joy happiness and peace to my heart. Fan for life ladies!! 🥰

The doll’s house crafts are always amazing. I prefer them to the “just like the real thing” of miniatures for doll’s houses. Your’s reminds me of what the Borrowers’s house might look like (if the Borrowers were dolls).
I wonder if you have thought of doing some stop-action shorts of the dolls and their house. They would be incredible!!

Hematite is an iron oxide crystal and an important ore of iron. It is part of the trigonal crystal system and is often found in rocks and soil. Hematite has a metallic like luster and colors that range from black to grey and silver, along with more reddish-brown varieties

Your glass battery is a great find, particularly in that condition. You said you thought it was a car battery, however these were much larger (and much heavier!), and had a case of hard rubber, similar to vulcanite. Yours was most likely used to power a radio back in the 1920's or 30's, when most homes didn't have electricity. As Maureen Brown has commented, these were carried to the local garage or radio shop when they needed charging, and this would be done for a few pennies. My late mother was a child in the 1930's, and once told me that, as the eldest, it was her job to take the battery to be re-charged. My mum always referred to the radio as "the wireless" (how that meaning has changed!), and the battery was "the accumulator".
Oldham did also make car batteries, and whilst I don't know if the company still exists, they were certainly still around in the 1960's and early 70's.
Hope you find this helpful, and keep producing the great videos.

You may be able to. Use a hair dryer to slowly warm the plastic doll parts enough to unfold it and then if possible carefully put some soft stuffing into it and reshape it. It won’t be perfect but you might be able to see the features. I did one a while back. It wasn’t quite as flattened as the one have but what do you have to lose? Good luck, I hope it works out. Its always joyful watching you two finding treasures on your mudlarking adventures. I always enjoy seeing you make things from your finds.
Having never really grown up either, i love to see the installments you make and add to the dolls house. Loved the pumpkin. That was so cute. X

They remind me of furnishings my sister and I used to come up with for our dollhouse. I remember making lamps out of wooden spools as bases and using tiny luminous lightbulbs for them that we got in a gumball machine.

The head looks like a rose bud or tulip to me. That was a job to separate those I bet. Love the pumpkin pot. So sweet. But the cup...adorable. Thanks for the vid eo. Always look forward to them.

You wondered what you could do with the post office seals; how about game pieces? Tic-tac-toe would be the simplest but I imagine there are more. If you have enough they could be checkers pieces. I think they would be most interesting just as they are. But they could be painted or maybe varnished with different colors. So their surface could still be seen.

We have incorporated them into one of our Mudmas crafts, which works well hopefully :)

Maybe that black ring is a hematite Stone ring. The strange shape bead looks like a rose bud. 🙂🌹🙂🌹🙂

Lots of nice finds in the dump. I thought that old broom piece would of looked natural for a small doll to sit in. Like the pumpkin pot and witches broom Kate made. Thank you for sharing and hope Fleur's leg gets better soon. Take care
