Saying that you can play about 30,000 games is very subjective, but saying what hardware is and the tests give a better idea of what games you could run on the console.
@@GaudyGabriev02 Does anyone know if u can play while charging the game console? Or u have to wait till its charging to 100? so that the battery wont end fast?
I wish I had those screen overlays. Mine only has the side bezels. But not the top and bottom ones. Also mine has a different front end. Looks different. Is it depending what size game cart you ordered it with? Got mine with 32gig one.
I just received mine today. Thanks for your review. This is an incredible handheld. I am so thank full and grateful to have this handheld. I look forward to all your honest reviews. Take care;
The rgb30 is the best they have done. The last bs one where they released a trash version then a month later released one with bt and wifi was a bad move and a way to screw the community. Also analogue has good products but the way they do business encourages scalpers. Trash company with a good product.
@wordsareweapons the rgb30 is great for gb,gbc, gba, nes, snes and ps1 because the screen is amazin. But the rgb30 can have issues. So as your first purchase go with a miyoo mini or miyoo mini plus.
This market seems very hard to get into because something new is always coming out. You can't just buy something and be happy, the next thing is going to make yours obsolete. This is very 90's to early 2000's "buying a computer"
The company that makes these make sure they don't give you everything you want even the custom made ones have something that keep them being perfect. They do it to keep you buying these.
Then buy it as a gift for a friend or sibling and they'll enjoy it and they can let you play it too. Making someone else happy is a great feeling and could get more people interested in something like this.
This is why following your channel should be mandatory for new retro gamers, calling out the ROM dumps for what they are and how much trickery these companies thorw at you... No newb is going to want to make there own ROM image straight away and generally these bloated dumps just confuse and frustrate new users... Spot on as per usual 👌
You're right --- we need to see the build and games that come with it for those of us that are strictly plug and play gamers. The ones who load their own games don't need much help , just a little info on the hardware.
I've had mine for about 3 weeks and it's my most played console since then. The screen is phenomenal for square and 4:3 aspect ratio systems, and tate mode stuff also looks great. If you mostly want to play widescreen stuff, I'd perhaps look elsewhere. About the only complaint I have is that the battery only gives about 6-8 hours play, depending on the system. If you're on the fence about getting one, I'd suggest going for it. At the price, pocketability, and the superb screen there really isn't much to regret.
Could you please tell me how PSP Metal Slug XX and Ultimate Ghost N Goblins play on this thing ? Are they playable or do they suck ? Can you connect to a TV via HDMI without frame loss ? Than you
@@ninjaalex-yf5io I tried Metal Slug XX and that was just fine. It does have huge borders though - like most widescreen stuff on this device - so you might want to get something else if widescreen content is what you play most. I haven't been able to try HDMI output yet, but will let you know as and when I do.
@@martinh4982 Thank you for your time. You just save me $ as I was about to purchase this RGB30. I m only interested in these 2 games. I'll wait until a device can faithfully emulate them.
Still on the fence on these things and waiting for the right one. This one and the anbernic 405 are my top picks. Could you show this one with the hdmi out using a Bluetooth controller as that’s something anbernic doesn’t have and could be a huge game changer! Thanks for the content and Wave Race 64 is one my my favourite games too - still play it on my N64!
Thanks for taking a look at the RGB30. I like that screen! Especially since I am a huge vertical shooter (shmup) nut. Any chance of demoing the HDMI output?
Seems nice but for $5 more you could get the Retroid Pocket 2S that has analog triggers and can play some GameCube and PS2 games, and they have transparent colors. I know how you like them transparent colored ones.
I would like to buy one, but which one is the best in the market this would be my first purchase. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated because there is so much in the market right now.
Hi, I was looking at one of these and I was gonna ask if I should get the option with the least amount of gigabytes as to not get quite so many duplicates and do you think my experience would be just as great with what comes on that card?
I saw this on your store website but I guess I was a little too late to buy it as it was sold out pretty fast. I’m seriously thinking about buying the Xbox that’s in your store.
give this the D-pad and the trigger buttons of the Retroid 2S and its pretty much perfect... oh... and the freaking volume buttons not being backwards would be nice. lol
is go game geek safe? how long did you wait for this to come? i get concerned ordering from China because sometimes you just never get your stuff and you have to battle them to get a refund.
This comment is recent while the video was made a few months back. The device is under $100 ($89) but doesn’t include games. If you want games included the price points stack by tier. 64 gb $100 128 gb $109 256 gb $119 Which technically still isn’t bad, but I wonder if they just duplicate the games to fill the space. It was mentioned that there are duplicates, which is to be expected from preloaded builds, but it’d be cool if someone could post a game list. Hard to find that info.

If you want something pocketable, the retroid pocket 2s is slightly stronger than the rgb30, it can do more ps2 and gamecube. The retroid pocket 3+ isnt pocketable, but its smaller than the ayn odin 2, and cheaper (and much more powerful than the rgb30)
All the aspect ratios looked good except n64... Waverace definitely looked like it was in 16:9 to my eyes... unless that game was letterboxed to begin with. The proportions of the on screen items didn't look off so maybe it was letterboxed.
