I’ve had the 11 for 5 years. Still holds up amazingly. I have the Smart Battery Case so even with 72% battery health I don’t see any battery issues. Only thing is 5 years ago 64gb was enough but nowadays apps are so large in size and each iOS update takes more & more space. if you plan on having a few mobile games or downloading media offline from streaming services, I’d recommend getting the 128gb if you can find a good deal on it
When the iPhone 11 battery already has 72% health, it is possible that the battery will no longer last almost and to top it off it only has 3110 mAh so it would last very little So it's time to change the battery.
@@stevepro100 actually I ended up buying a new phone today. It arrives tomorrow and it feels bittersweet to upgrade after using my iPhone 11 for 5 years

I upgraded from an Iphone 11 to 15 Pro max this year January. I was using that phone for almost 3 and half year at that point the only thing that i could say about performance was on latest ios versions ram management was very bad but apart from that everything was on point. I wanted to upgrade as i wanted to experience 120hz. Right now am loving the experience on my 15 pro max. I will probably upgrade in 2030 again.

I've been using an 11 Pro for 4 years and 9 months, and the phone's still holding up great! (I know this video's on the 11, but both have the same processor and RAM)
The only differences are the 11 pro is smaller has a telephoto lens is made of different materials (matte glass on the back and stainless steel) has smaller bezzels and a full hd oled instead of a 750p lcd.
Walmart has iPhone 11 for $199. They are carrier locked but if you happen to have whichever carrier Walmart is offering it’s a good deal if you’re looking to upgrade. Especially since they are new so no battery issues or anything. I know total wireless unlocks all their phones after 61 days of active network use so there’s that. Not sure about straight talk.

I have been using my iPhone 11 since October 2019, and plan to do so for a while longer! As usual, the battery is the biggest issue and I had it replaced in November 2022 which gave it a whole new lease of life. That replacement battery is now sitting at 83% and I'm starting to experience slowdowns and poor battery life. That being said, it still lasts me the day if I'm not using it much. Things like facetime and social media do tend to burn through it however. As you mentioned in the video, the core iOS experience is the same, and that's the main reason I've held onto my 11 for so long. I'll probably get another year or so out of this phone, but it has certainly being the most reliable piece of technology I've ever owned.
As a power user who uses gps sucking transit apps while streaming TH-cam videos on the go, this phone is incredible compared to my old iPhone SE 2020!! It’s so much faster thanks to that extra ram and storage and it feels like a huge leap forward despite being an older phone than the se 2020 and this is with a 75% capacity battery!!
My daughter has this iPhone 11 and loving it, probably the last iOS update for this amazing phone? But this is still holding up well in 2024.I have an iPad 9 same processor with the 11 and still zippy as it is!
Just got one off of backmarket. I used to have one as well when it first came out. Good phone, battery is okay. I’m @ 90% health currently. Update: Went with Mint Mobile recently, tried of paying big carrier prices. So I got a budget phone. Perfect for my needs, especially with 256gbs of storage on this iPhone 11.
Whenever someone asks for a good budget iPhone to buy, I'll always recommend them the iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12. I have the iPhone 12 and it is actually still pretty fast on iOS 17, it does not feel like a four-year-old phone. I'll be interested to know how iOS 18 performs on it, but I really hope that it doesn't significantly effect the performance of the phone.
My iPhone 11’s battery heath is at about 75% and that’s with very heavy use with 10 ish hours of yt & games per day over 5 years and keeps it’s charge for up to 2 days with light use. I do hope that we get the 2025 update you were referring to at the beginning of this video, keeping it for another year or 2 would give me time to save up for the next one.
The best way to buy the iPhone 11 is to buy the straight talk locked version, brand new for $199. 100% battery health and it unlocks after 60 days of usage.
iPhone 11 compelled me to upgrade from the 5s in 2020. The only serious upgrades that are compelling me to upgrade today are moving to OLED and 120 Hz. I think Apple is out of their minds thinking that the high refresh rate screen is a $1000 feature though. Pixel 9 seems like a decent upgrade for me. I might buy an older pro iPhone refurbished as well.
Using the 13 and it works very well too. Ipgones last pretty long unless you accidentally break them, then forget about trying to fix em cuz apple doesn't want that.
I just recently switched to iPhone 15 pro from my beloved 11 that I had for almost 4 years and had 96% battery health (its overall condition netted me a very nice trade in) For me that’s the longest I ever held on to a phone and honestly I could hold out another year just fine and just ended up being impatient. This is still imo a great phone that really only lacks the latest bells and whistles but still holds out in 2024
I am using Iphone 11 with 88% battery health, I switched from android to iPhone and I very much like the ios experience. Its working great, much better social media apps on iphone compared to android. Not switching to android anytime soon. And yes I do have to charge 2 times because I charge my phone before it hits 20% and I charge it till 80% so I charge 2 times in a day. The camera is good for me coming from android and I think I can use this phone for 2 more years.
Using the 11 Pro Max. Still a great phone for my use. It amazes me how some of society still chases the latest phones either Android or iPhone. Hopefully more people will learn to be satisfied with what they have and take care of their phones. Screen protectors, case and periodically cleaning them helps them last longer.
i used a iphone 11 up untill December when I got a iPhone 14 pro max 1tb for $500 I got rid of it because I had broken the lcd 4 times and didn't want to spend the money fix it again, but I gave it to my little sister and she bought a new screen for it and still uses it! somehow on its original battery it still at 86% health
Just got a new iPhone 11 after coming from another old 11 after my 13 broke and it works great only thing Im complaining about is it’s not the 15 with the island but other than that it’s perfect and not big on tech so i wouldn’t notice minor issues
I pay for Google photos. iCloud only stores as much as your phone can hold. I paid for 2TB till I realized when I deleted off phone it deleted off iCloud. And yes you can switch accounts and whatnot but as soon as you do it syncs and bam pictures deleted. Google photos has an option to clearly delete off phone to free up storage while keeping on the cloud.
Thats an disadvantantage of iCloud, you cant have photos in your iCloud only. Tough if there is such an option i hope to find it somehow. Until then Google photos are really a better option in terms of iphone capacity management.
Altough what I realize with every iOS update my used iPhone memory shrinks, meaning that Apple manages on device files storage better with each update.
Been using a $50 AUD iPhone 11 I got off a family member for about a year now, great phone! (even if mine is pretty broken..) Mine has a broken back and messed up camera but even still, it works fine for what i need. It has a pretty good battery even at around 86%, and does mostly everything i need (TH-cam, Games, etc) I'll probably use it as long as i can.
Sold my iphone 15 Pro Max because I got a fair price for it, a few weeks before the new iphone release. Now I'm using a 11, which I bought as a secondary phone for running and because I think the mint green is the best looking iphone ever 😁 Apart from the cameras (especially the telephoto lens), there is nothing that I miss from the 15 PM... I might even love it even more, because of the shape and the color. For day to day use, it functions the same. Maybe I'll hold onto this phone for a while.
Im still using the 11 pro max up until today as my daily driver. I really like it, I just replace my battery and have an anker power bank for safety measures. I know a friend that still uses iphone xr and he says it's quite good.
I got the exactly same one on the thumbnail i also bought a cover for only 6-8 dollars on k-mart mines face id dont work and battery replacement only 😊 it gets hot but i dont use it as much only for just calling and stuff like that or if im going somewhere so rn im on my ipad 8:D❤
My 11 worked great for me, I only ended up upgrading to the 13 Pro because the deal was way too good to pass up. Ended up replacing the battery and giving it to my grandma as an upgrade to her moto g6
I have the iPhone 11 as a back up I got it for free from my grandpaw he upgraded to the 14 pro yet my main phone is the 15 and the iPhone 11 chugs on iOS 18 both phones my 15 and 11 are on iOS 18! And the iPhone 11 was the 1st iPhone I bought with my money! And it has 80% battery health
I’ve owned my iPhone 11 for 4 years and if it wasn’t for my cracked screen I would still be rocking it now with a new battery. I have the iPhone 12 now and even though the device has been out for 4.5 years, like the iPhone 11 the 12 still holds up and is no slouch. iPhone’s these days function very similar and I don’t consider myself missing out just because I don’t have the iPhone14/15.
Still have my ip11 rn though I recently did get the Iphone 15 pro max. I keep it as a spare phone whenever my hands get tired of the beefy 15pm. Lol It still works well. Even though the upgrade is miles difference, but I still enjoy it for what it is.
One year ago I bought iPhone 11 128gb from argos brand new and now almost 1year and battery health 100% and always battery for 2days no problem and fast internet, good quality pictures and ios17 and have ios18 and possible later have ios19
New iPhone 11 in 2024 has shown that memory was correct in thinking the 11 was a great phone and even though the 13 may have ended up being better than the 12, compared to the 11 it’s not as incredible in the battery longevity department. Maybe all thanks to 4G/lower res screen but using a new 11 after having the 12/13 and the latest Galaxy S24 the 11 is amazing.
I have the 11 it’s still pretty good. I really love the design and the purple is amazing. I do want to upgrade to the 16 when it’s out but still 60hz is a bit disappointing
I currently have iPhone 11, like already said, my iPhone can barely make it through the day even with lite to mid usage. I work 10 1/2 hr days and even if I don’t use it for anything but text, I find myself needing to charge often just to stay over 20% before my work day is up (starting at 100%) I also notice a big difference in service with other iPhone users with same providers in same location. I swam to loose/have a hard time holding signal in places I shouldn’t. Definitely looking to upgrade to at least the iPhone 14
I think the night photography capability really made me not considering switching it to new model. Until Apple can pull up a cheap model with all functionality of 11 I’m not switching
If you’re in the market and thinking of getting the 11 I’d say just get the 12, 1 MagSafe is HUGEEE for me 2 I use the 15 pro and still on 4G lte and don’t notice a difference but if u can get it why not take advantage of the 5g 3 it’s 2024 might as well spend some extra money for the oled display if your going to buy an 11 any ways 100 more dollars is nothing

iPhone 11 compelled me to upgrade from the 5s in 2020. The only serious upgrades that are compelling me to upgrade today are moving to OLED and 120 Hz. I think Apple is out of their minds thinking that the high refresh rate screen is a $1000 feature though. Pixel 9 seems like a decent upgrade for me. I might buy an older pro iPhone refurbished as well.
this channel is great, subbed !
I also enjoy the speakers of the 11! They are an upgrade from the XR. The iPhone 11 has better speakers than the 12 Pro. I still enjoy it a lot!!
Using the 13 and it works very well too. Ipgones last pretty long unless you accidentally break them, then forget about trying to fix em cuz apple doesn't want that.
i use iPhone 11 2 years, have all time ios 15.6 , now battery 88%, but still nice working, new ios not planning use, really love ios 15))
I just recently switched to iPhone 15 pro from my beloved 11 that I had for almost 4 years and had 96% battery health (its overall condition netted me a very nice trade in)
For me that’s the longest I ever held on to a phone and honestly I could hold out another year just fine and just ended up being impatient.
Me surviving on my iphone xs max wth 71% battery health TwT
How’s the screen on time on that low of battery health ?
My XS max died a few months back at only around 77%, how the hell are you still using it at 71%?😂
@@kazza3038 I usually get like 4hrs hahahahaahm though it is enough for me to get through half a day for college.
@@supersmashmaster43 I just don't open my phone unless I really need it. Im upgrading to 14 plus xd
10:37 Awwww 🥹
Thats your daddy
i used a iphone 11 up untill December when I got a iPhone 14 pro max 1tb for $500 I got rid of it because I had broken the lcd 4 times and didn't want to spend the money fix it again, but I gave it to my little sister and she bought a new screen for it and still uses it! somehow on its original battery it still at 86% health
your opinions on the iPhone 11 now are you going to trade it in or keep it after iPhone iPhone 16 release
Counter argument. Save up for a reg 13. OLED and lighter in the hand.
As a phone to just use for music. It’s fine
Just got a new iPhone 11 after coming from another old 11 after my 13 broke and it works great only thing Im complaining about is it’s not the 15 with the island but other than that it’s perfect and not big on tech so i wouldn’t notice minor issues
Alhamdulliah I just brought the phone today the purple colour
Alhamdulillah to u my Mameluck friend
Getting my iPhone 11 next week - I'm super excited - the 13 would be better but I will got for that in about 2 years
I pay for Google photos. iCloud only stores as much as your phone can hold.
(even if mine is pretty broken..)
Mine has a broken back and messed up camera but even still, it works fine for what i need. It has a pretty good battery even at around 86%, and does mostly everything i need (TH-cam, Games, etc) I'll probably use it as long as i can.
Walmart is selling brand new iPhone 11s never opened for $199
Sold my iphone 15 Pro Max because I got a fair price for it, a few weeks before the new iphone release.
Now I'm using a 11, which I bought as a secondary phone for running and because I think the mint green is the best looking iphone ever 😁
Apart from the cameras (especially the telephoto lens), there is nothing that I miss from the 15 PM...
I have 11 💪🏻
I got the exactly same one on the thumbnail i also bought a cover for only 6-8 dollars on k-mart mines face id dont work and battery replacement only 😊 it gets hot but i dont use it as much only for just calling and stuff like that or if im going somewhere so rn im on my ipad 8:D❤
I am still using my 11 pro today. Only minor gripes, but the battery still can go all day and all that
My 11 worked great for me, I only ended up upgrading to the 13 Pro because the deal was way too good to pass up. Ended up replacing the battery and giving it to my grandma as an upgrade to her moto g6
It's hard to believe that the Iphone 11 is 5 years already! I own a iphone SE 2nd gen and That's almost 5 years away! Where did the time go!?
As someone that hasn't used an iPhone since 2021 I am looking at the 11 as a solid backup
I had the 11 but I upgraded to the 13mini. After my experience with the mini I’m switching back to Android….
How come you're switching back? I was interested in getting the 13 mini, though I'm an android user...
I just went from an 8 plus to an eleven
Feel like caveman discovering fire
Still have my ip11 rn though I recently did get the Iphone 15 pro max. I keep it as a spare phone whenever my hands get tired of the beefy 15pm. Lol
It still works well. Even though the upgrade is miles difference, but I still enjoy it for what it is.
I recently got a 15 and am planning to use it for at least 5 years. Checking this out to see how the 15 would fare after 5years.
Im currently using an IPhone 11
I have the 11 it’s still pretty good. I really love the design and the purple is amazing.
I do want to upgrade to the 16 when it’s out but still 60hz is a bit disappointing
I am still using 11, its having 961 charge cycles with 86% bh.. everything is good still :)
I currently have iPhone 11, like already said, my iPhone can barely make it through the day even with lite to mid usage. I work 10 1/2 hr days and even if I don’t use it for anything but text, I find myself needing to charge often just to stay over 20% before my work day is up (starting at 100%)
I also notice a big difference in service with other iPhone users with same providers in same location. I swam to loose/have a hard time holding signal in places I shouldn’t.
Definitely looking to upgrade to at least the iPhone 14
Just buy it yesterday and what I can say this phone still beat all of android midrange in term of performance 🤯
Apple replaced the battery on my iPhone 12 one year ago and I don't regret it
iPhone SE 2022 next please ?
Or even 13 mini 🙂
In Puerto Rico carriers like Boost Mobile still offers the IPhone 11 brand new as a budget phone 😅
10:14 iphone 11 chilling on a gamecube
Does anyone else have a burn in on the top corners of their iPhone 11? Should I worry?
With almost every model of amoled/oled screen phones having green line issue. I'm thinking of buying this as a daily driver
I think the night photography capability really made me not considering switching it to new model. Until Apple can pull up a cheap model with all functionality of 11 I’m not switching
I got a new battery for my iPhone 11 Pro Max and it feels like new again. I can go the entire day light use and only use 40% battery.
I have a 100% less than a year old 11 and a 89% 13. Some days I just miss how the 11 feels in the hand
The iPhone 11 served me well for 3 years till I got the 13 and now 15
You have a lot of money it looks like
Fair enough the 15 is probably the best base model upgrade in years
If you’re in the market and thinking of getting the 11 I’d say just get the 12, 1 MagSafe is HUGEEE for me 2 I use the 15 pro and still on 4G lte and don’t notice a difference but if u can get it why not take advantage of the 5g 3 it’s 2024 might as well spend some extra money for the oled display if your going to buy an 11 any ways 100 more dollars is nothing
Using iPhone 11 from the past 2 years, I see no reason to upgrade
Bro I’m still using an iPhone 6…. I need an upgrade so bad
Wow thats a decade old phone
Is a used 11 worth it could find on line by Verizon?
Poco x6 pro or iphone 11? Which one is for gaming?
I’m waiting for it to beeak so far it still stands way longer than my iphone 7plus
you are going to need the telephoto for for good portraits. and LiDar
