thanks! battery life seems great! will last ya a full day in my testings ... just turn it off when you're not actually shooting with it and you should be fine! : )
Did you have to discard many clips for the vid? Or do much heavy color/exposure corrections? Or were you most of the time able to get a pretty consistent shot?
Nice video, thanks for posting. I have a question regarding the new 5th generation sensor. Are there any improvements besides the pixel count? Some youtubers mentioned that new sensor has more vivid and punchier colors versus 4th gen with more flat and muted output. I narrowed down to XS20 and XT50, but 26 megapixels is more than enough for me. On the other hand, if new sensor has batter output, I want it to get one. I plan to use Jpeg with film simulations.
Hey there! I don't agree that there is a difference with more punchier colors ... It's pretty much the same but higher megapixels... the colors just have to do with what simulation you're doing and your color grade! I will so say though, the AF feels a lot more snappier. If it's between the last gen and the newer one, I'd go for sure newer : )
Now, Fujifilm India has revealed the price of x100vi in India and too high. On paper it say's 1600 US dollars - And that does not translate to ~1.35 Lakhs but 1.8 Lakhs (i.e; ~45K more) . With this pricing, seriously, it does not make any sense at all. X100v initially was just 1.2 Lakhs . X100vi's 33% hike in pricing is just odd. I'm very much decided now, not to go for it. I rather will increase budget a little and get some compact full frame - That's a wise decision.
This camera is seriously underrated for its video capabilities
Totally agree!
I’m so hyped to get mine for both photo and video. Having something so small and portable and capable with you everyday is a powerful thing.
X100VI on a gimbal has to be one of the best combos that nobody is talking about yet.
Very true! It’s also incredibly light which is helpful!
@@dandobidid you use a gimbal with it?
@@Amcacs5654 nope! all handheld
Love how you put this together, Dan! Footage looks great 👏

Thank you for sharing your opinion about the video quality on Fuji X100VI 👍
you got it! thanks friend!
@@dandobi Mostly welcome 🙏
I plan to use the vi for some video too! Lightly, but still doing it!
Nice! I think after I’m getting used to, you’ll probably probably use it more than you think!
Thanks, as a new X100vi user, very useful.
Awesome! So glad it was helpful! Appreciate the comment! Woo! ✨
What about auto focus settings for video? Tracking people and certain subjects. What modes/drive do you like?
Love it!
Just wondering how’s the battery life and does the X100VI overheats during video recordings like the previous X100V?

What about 4k 30p ?
Oh yes, sorry! Everything at 24 can be done at 30. Usually the same for all cameras so I didn’t want to be redundant, but good call!
Great vid man!
MY man! Thank you! Lemme know when ya create a magical lut for this thing! 🎉
DAMN! This looks great, yeah Sony has great IBIS but this still looks like it’s under control. Great work!
