Nice to see another SC fisherman
Damn, you’re crushing these bass
Heck yeah thankyou for the support
nice sounds dc Shimano brother
Yessir it's been my favorite reel so far
Im getting The Slx dc and a Slx glass cranking rod i will let you know how i like it great review!
Nice!
Qual é a velocidade de recolhimento dessa carretilha?
Nice session what setting have ya got the Slx DC on with the poly line ?
I have it set on 3 and pretty loose spool tension
Thanks
No problem!
Oh. Myfirend verry good
Use braid you can feel every little movement on your lure plus its strong very thin and no line stretch last longer and no memory I use 60lb on my bait caster and with a 6 5 rod I can cast far with a 40$ bait caster
Yeah braids nice I have it on one of my other combos I like using it for jigs and chatterbaits
Watermelon red is my fav
About these microchips is there a battery that has to be replaced every couple years and how water resistant is the reel it self?
You do not need to replace the battery at all and the reel is fully water resistant for freshwater fishing. Hope this helps!
Alrighty thank you so much
the spool spinning makes the charge for the chip
Hey I just bought a lews tpx1 speed stick, 7’0 but I got a medium action instead of medium heavy… did I make the wrong decision for bass fishing?
Depends on what ur using it for. For a crankbait and lighter baits then it's fine. But if ur going to be fishing in the grass and heavy cover then I would reccomend a medium heavy
@@scbassfishing9620 so can I use crankbaits and lighter lures on the medium heavy aswell? Sorry I’m new to fishing
@@trentbritton5279 yeah you can If u want. It's all preference. You can use almost anything on a medium heavy
@@scbassfishing9620 very l much appreciated brother hitting That subscribe button!
@@trentbritton5279 glad I could help!
Hey I’ve seen your review on the Mach 2 and now the slx dc. Which do you prefer? Both are close in price and wanted to know what one you thought was better?
Sorry for the late response. I prefer the slx DC for sure
Trying to find a rod to pair with it, is the googan gold series a good rod with it.
It's a nice sensitive rod. I would definitely reccomend it if you can get it on sale
@@scbassfishing9620 thanks man, do you think its not worth full price?
@@griffinmeyer37 I think it is worth full price. But you can always get 10 percent off with all of their codes available on their site
@@scbassfishing9620 oh yeah thanks man
Do you think I should buy the Sox DC or a curado k?
I was thinking the same thing when I bought mine. I would prefer the slx dc over it just because it has the breaking technology. I have barely gotten any backlashes at all yet while casting into the wind. Hope this helps!
Buy both and see what you like. I own both and I can't pick one over the other their both amazing.
Is there any other reels with the chip to make the sound
Yeah shimano also makes the curado dc which makes the sound
@@scbassfishing9620 like dif brand or only shimano
@@frostizz2072 only shimano makes reels with the dc In it
I have a question, Does the slx dc HG Make the sound?
Yes it does
So I’m wanting to get my first Dc but not sure which gear ratio to choose from 6.3, 7.2 or 8.2 what would you suggest?
7.2 in my opinion because it will work for almost every bait or rig.
7.2 agreed what mine is love it
To be honest the slx dc should be 150 because I think we are paying 200 dollars for a 150 dollar reel and the slx should be 75 dollars and the slx xt should be 100
I feel this way about most shimano! You get 2x the value on something like a Lew's but 1/2 on most things shimano these days....
exactly what googan rod are you using?
Googan squad gold series go to rod
What a good rod to go with the shimano any good rod that you know of?
Any st Croix rods or lews rods are good to use. They can be bought pretty cheap and some are under 100 bucks
@@scbassfishing9620 okay thanks!
I have this same set up!
Yeah but the not 100% floro
Yeah it is fleurocarbon coated not 100% fleurocarbon
How much does it cosr
189 $
200 dollars
I want one soo bad... but $200... too steep for a family man
I understand that completely! Luckily there are a lot of cheaper options that work amazing as well
Can it get wet?
Yeah I've fully submerged it in freshwater and it's completely good
Aww shit
wrong info about drag, misleading
Ur right! The maximum drag is 11 to 12 pounds. Thx for pointing it out. Anything else I missed???
get to the point and cast it
Setting 3 is fluoro or mono 2 is braid
I think setting 3 is for max breaks, 1 is for braid or mono, and 2 is fluro
