Awesome work. I did this to my whole bike. I find that using masking tape before peeling off the old decals work great when installing your new fork / frame decals. Also using soapy water in spray bottle helps get the perfect lines to match and use a heat gun lightly to make sure the stickers stick to The fork or frame. Note*** don’t use the heat gun too close to your frame or fork especially if it’s matte painted. 🍻
Thanks 🙏🏻 I definitely should have used soapy water, and I know I could do it better if I had to do this again. Definitely need to be careful with that heat gun. Thanks again 🤙🏻
Use warm soapy water next time (use a spray bottle 1 drop dish soap) so they slide around like window tints and lay flat and squgy the water out they dry and stick no problem and plenty room to line up etc way I always do graphics! I was in the vehicle graphics industry a few year's
Looks great! I did the same with my Trek and Fox Rhythm fork...luckily I could mask out the bottom and inside to use as a guide. Agree the stealth decals are blah.
Glad the decals went on good for you man! I definitely struggled with that. I’ve now upgraded to a Fox 38 Performance Elite, which comes with silver decals on it 😂 why do I keep buying more stuff 🤦🏼♂️
Great job … I did the same to my bike and the left fork was perfect .. the right fork ended with one small wrinkle which can be ignored… overall I’m happy and you should too …. I was advised by a bike shop expert to place the decals over the original ones and it worked for me …. You went through the whole process and it looks bad a$$ 😊
Okay so you are supposed to peel the inside half of the sticker backing off first. From there you line up the decal in the center line of the fork at a pre marked height and then smooth the inside of the sticker out. Then you peel off the back for the outside and then smooth the outside. I would not recommend doing my fork decals this way
And you don’t cut out the stickers, you simply peel off the area surrounding the stickers so the the Fox and 36 stickers are the only thing on the white backing.
@@jgpratt2010 thanks man! There are no instructions with these decals, so I did it the way that seemed best for me at the time. But this was definitely my first time doing a decal swap, so I definitely learned a thing or two 👍🏻
@@netposerx I was going to upgrade this 36 since it’s the OEM Rhythm model. But I’ve decided to get a Fox 38 now, and that fork comes with silver colored graphics so hopefully I won’t need to do this again lol
Pro tip for beginners in graphics installation is to spray the sticky side of the graphics with dish soap water. Then you can move the graphics around into desired position without damage. Just squeegee out the soapy water and use a heat gun to adhere. The soapy water will also help remove air bubbles and wrinkles
Nice job. Looks dope for sure! Stealth is super sick too tho. I’ll probably leave mine as is. 👊 But where do you find the after market decal kits anyway? EBay or something?
They sell them on Amazon. I put a link below. amzn.to/3sWooqY I wouldn’t recommend getting the chrome ones that I got because they are already pealing back off.
For sure 🤦🏼♂️ I’m still NOT happy with this decal. It’s actually starting to peel off in spots. I might just have to get the Fox 36 Performance fork with the silver decals already on it 😂

@@Emtbtoday great tip! Thanks
Fantastic work Red, this looks so nice buddy. Have fun with it and ride on
Thank you. Ride on bro 🤙🏻

So sick. I just ordered a Slash 9.7, last XL frame left in the country! Can’t wait to ride it and also see what you do with yours!
I’ve got some more upgrades planned for sure. Stoked for you 🤙🏻
If you watch fox install video they tell you to cut up the fox and factory line so can curve round the fork
@@Emtbtoday 👍
Best tutorial I have seen, thanks!

Thank you 👍🏻 I think it would have turned out a lot better if I hadn’t done the silver foil graphics.
Looks pretty cool Jared.......you gained a new sub!
Thank you 🙏🏻 greatly appreciate you!

Slik Graphics makes great decals. And my DVO Onyx fork was designed to take stickers. The area that the sticker covers is raised.
Yeah, I probably should have ordered from silk graphics
@@JaredHoff I bit pricey but you can get any color you want.

🤣🤣step away you don't notice 🤣🤣 brother I feel your pain
🤦🏼♂️ lol
You miss one...My sticker on the other side🤣🤣🤣👍
😂 👍🏻👍🏻
I put Fox 36 decals on my old 100mm Manitou fork. It is like a new bike!
Warning: changing decal DOES NOT change actual performance.
Awesome man! Sometimes making your bike look good is the best upgrade.
Looks nice, but I would have kept the stock decals (too much of a hassle to replace).
Definitely was a hassle and I didn’t like how the foil decal was so hard
WD40 or baby oil removes the residue left behind from stickers put it on a cloth and rub it off.
@@keyboardpatriot nice 👍
Put them on wet... bit of soap and water... perfect results...
That’s exactly what I should have done. Hopefully people read this and try that out instead. Thanks 👍🏻
Nice graphics💪
Thank you 🙏🏻
I did the same thing in my Lyrick Ultimate in my previous bike and it turned into a nightmare. Chrome looks nice.
Chrome looks good, but I’m not 100% happy with it. Guess I just need to buy the Fox 36 Performance that comes with the silver decals 😂 😂
@@JaredHoff I am way too stuck up and need the gold kashima.😀
That just sucks. Looks like you did everything right but yet you ended up with wrinkles. I am sure it bothers the crap out of you!

Freaking bobbles rage me
