Now my dad must of been talking about this car as a kid. He let me buy a 70 or 69 Plymouth Fury off him as a teenager for 350 dollars and told me to keep it because it would be a collector . It was the ugliest car I have ever had. 4 door and BLUE. But a TANK a little car hit me and it totalled his mine the bumper fell off that was it. I didn't keep that thing but it was a good TANK and gas guzzler. If he sold me this type I would of kept that. Thanks Dad.
I love this car! Growning up, one of my best friend’s dad had a 64 Savoy Max Wedge, pristine and all original. He was a rich guy and the head of the local Mopar club. He also had a storage room full of factory original replacement parts for the car.. Gaskets, o-rings, hoses, wires, switches, moldings etc. We were afraid to look at the car because it was his baby and he could get mean real quick. Unfortunately, his business went under and had to sell it around 2007. My friend said he got $120 for it but that could’ve been a tall tale. If that was true, I bet it’s worth a lot more now if it’s in the same condition. At the time, we were in high school and while we knew it was a nice car, it wasn’t until later in life that I really realized how badass the car was. Nothing flashy about it, simple and all business.
Mv 64 savoy wasnt a max engine. Just straight 426 wedge. 323 gears. I raced a 64 furymax wedge 4 speed 410 gears and the guy couldnt show his face again for quite a while. 10 feet of rubber and gone.
Looks like a pretty nice car, but Max Wedge cars never came with the scoop and interior that this car has. Those were Hemi only. Engine compartment wiring is not right for a Max Wedge. I'm not picking it apart. It's a nice car, but a clone is supposed to be built to look just as the originals.
What the hell are you guy picking this car apart for? It’s a badass car ….. you know it,… I know it… just be glad someone has this on the street and stop showing your jealousy,… it’s in bad taste.
