FWIW, if you drill two small holes, about 3/8" dia, in the top of the pumpkin and fill it with water, when you hit it at 500 yards, it will explode dramatically from the hydrostatic shock.
That is so very good to have for a thought pic,, can't weight to try 4 of them stacked... 3 in a triangle,, with 1 on top of the three.. Like on a pool table.. Try the bottom front,, first,,, then it's dealers choice.. Game on.. Thanks for the water tip..

Well, when I joined the Marines I could hit the target from 500 yards without a scope…never used one the entire time I was in, and always Qualified either sharpshooter or expert. We’d shoot from the 200, 300, and 500 yard line over open sights.
That was hits on target, Army does similar and we even on occasion had marines at the various Army bases using pop up ranges. Still agree though, iron sights at 500 yards is pretty possible. At least I did not have to many issues. The M16 iron rear set up worked well.

Yeah, I have one on my AR 10 and it does add a lot of weight. It's incredible value for a gun you don't plan to carry around though. I'm very pleased with its performance.
@jamiecouncil4796 7.62x51 NATO. Why dat iz, Wolfman? Availability and lethality, and the smallest and lightest do everything cartridge. If a .22 LR could be made to be as useful and lethal then I would use it but that's not reality. 7.62x51 NATO is a small round, the bottom of the universally effective cartridge list. It is excellent against armored soldiers, animals of all sizes, light skinned vehicles and aircraft, walls and barriers and does what 556 never will do. But, being that this is about firearms and it attracts so many punks, b.s. artists and tards, I figure you already knew the answer especially since the man is shooting 7.62x51 in the video. You do.
@@beanieweenie9543I'm talking abot the classic one, of course there are modifficated ARs, like AR-15 that can shoot 300 BLK, or an ar-10 that can shoot some other cartridge, though I'm rly sceptic bout this, cuz 308 for a semi-auto rifle is already powerful.
@striderflys so did I and most of my brothers. M16A1 with open sights, 10 shots at 500 meters. At least once a year. That's with a rifle with max effective range of 460 meters. Snipers were the only ones using scopes, but they were 1000 meters and 308's.

Very aesthetically pleasing. I think it's just those 4 lines on the upper. Kinda crazy, but it doesn't take much to make a rifle stand out since most are so similar. You can usually expect to pay an extra $3k for an extra machined line or two, but this thing is only $1600! Not too bad
