Next up, 1,000 yard hip shot!
😄 Great video
I’d need about 10k rounds but we could get it done! 😂
@@PewView interesting!
“I’m not a professional” 😂
If he’s not a professional…What does that make the rest of us? 😂

….except you kinda are. You shoot guns and earn money doing it.
The second I heard that I came here to comment it then saw your comment first 😂
Our range officer showed us 200 meter hits with a pistol. We watched it like a miracle back in 90s. Especially with Soviet-era Makarov.
The dude driving the semi in the background had no idea how close to greatness he was
Tip of the day: If this guy is giving a tip, listen! 💯
FACTS!
like john danaher giving grappling advice
Later we find out he is shooting blanks and someone behind the camera hitting steel with a hammer.
I've thought about that. Or just editing in a sound bite everytime he fires. 😂 Im pretty sure its legit though.
I think he'd actually be experiencing zero recoil whatsoever with blanks funnily enough
There are live behind-the-scenes of a film studio where one of the actors shoots what looks like a Glock-esque gun (the actor is Russian, so it is probably a Grach) with blanks. The muzzle flip is non existent, and comparably even Pew has a little bit of flip. I reckon with live ammo it's impossible to get zero flip at all unless the gun is mounted to a heavy contraption.
I do know this is a joke, but I've always found it interesting why movies always make it seem like handguns have 0 recoil at all. It's one of the few nitpicks I can't get over
How to manage recoil? Get it ported. 😅
100% 😂 this obviously applies to any pistols though, as I showed you guys in the last video
@PewView Loving the tutorials. Thanks bro. 🤙
Roger just put out a video on this gun and his was having issues with burrs in the barrel from the ports which was causing it to shoot all over the place past 15 yards.
@@Hollerboy931what’s the channel name?
I am looking at the new Bul Armory EDC and am wondering whether the 8 ports in the EDC make a big difference to the 6 on the smaller version
Lena Miculek uses the same style grip and did a video on it awhile back and I use the same grip too and actually had an instructor tell me I was holding my gun wrong until he actually saw me shoot and saw my target!
There was a long discussion in a gun forum about that. She actually hooks her index finger of her off hand into the front of the trigger guard. It would probably work even better with a big trigger guard like on a SIG 226.
i was teaching my friend how to grip/shoot (his first time actually shooting) and range master said i was teaching him wrong. I just chuckled a little, fired off a mag in about 1.5in square with some speed. range master just said 'my bad' lmfao. made my week, but the grip does take a bit to get used to.
I shoot similar to PewView. The first time my friend saw me hold my handgun he got quite furious. "YOU'RE GONNA SHOOT YOUR FINGER OFF!" and then proceeded to slam the muzzle up to show me how the muzzle would cause my finger to get slidecut.
I held onto it so tight that the gun barely even moved lol
@@ryansimpson7431 It's a great way to shoot, per my own experience (I use both traditional and Pew's interchangeably depending on the exercises I do). Anyone who isn't used to it/doesn't use it themselves will always critique it because of how it's not "the norm," or it doesn't shoot the way they shoot. It's almost a cult mindset, based on what I've seen. A small minority loves it, the loud minority hates it.
Even when you show the haters people shooting it, they still go "they're gonna get slidecut bro, not good for you" but they don't bother testing it themselves.
Just got my BUL TAC 4.25 love it. Finally glad to see someone running an SRO on the BUL. Can't wait until the new UL comes in.
Congrats on your purchase. They run like souped up sewing machines. Love all of mine and cant wait for the '24 models to hit the states.
I just wanna say respect to the editor. When you said watch that video here and pointed up, the tab was there. Everyone else is a second behind. Haha. Love all the tips bro
Awesome video. I always appreciate the shooting tips.
Bro left his recoil at home🤯
Ive been trying since the first vid... Is hard to get used to, but when u get it right... Man what a difference!!!!
Modern samurai project on YT will be your saving grace for this grip
Learn from the best ‼️ thanks man
Wondering if you could talk about your trigger-pull technique and wrist/elbow/shoulder tension? Also, do you lift your elbows in order to generate inward force on the pistol? Some shooters talk about keeping their upper body more relaxed while others seem to tense everything up. Awesome content and thanks for the tips!
Definitely appreciate ur content its very informative, helpful, and funny at the same time. Most informative videos are boring as urs is awesome dude ur doing awesome thanx. Im going to try the grip as soon as i can but dry firing n practicing going from the holster i can find the dot much quicker Thanx again n keep the videos coming
Brah! How dare you say you’re not a professional!! You’re a f’ing beast that puts professionals to shame!! Thanks for all the great content!
Seriously guys , these videos have made me a better shooter, gotta put in the practice though, great video Nick thanks for sharing your knowledge 💪😎👍
You should've used a gun with a snappy rep, like a Walther PDP Compact
Good call
Or a hi point lol
Good job! As you said may have been luck, but it was good!
Looks like good farm land!
dude, i really like your way to teach with Always the postilla to let the viewer choose what it's better for themself, good attitude and humble even if you're grandmaster. regards
Real life John Wick.

Bro I'm a big fan of yours...Keep it up..!
Brilliant teaching. That's exactly how I teach the grip to my Spanish speaking community. Even have videos elaborating exactly what you showed. Huge fan of your content 🎉🎉🎉
Great video - Greetings from South Africa
I run lights on my guns too. I got a canik tp9 and a Taurus g2c. Both have compensators which help. More so with the canik than the Taurus since the Taurus is a subcompact.
In my experience, the lights do not help with a "high" grip. They only help with a "forward" grip. To me, what helps the most is thinking how a rifle is shot and applying the same principles.
For example, with a rifle, the gun is posted tight against your shoulder and your body takes in the recoil. With the pistol, it's not really your body, it's your wrists. So what I do is I take my dominant arm and lock my elbow to make it act as a rifle stock. Then I take my non dominant arm and do the same thing but I press it towards me so that both arms are acting as a vice. The forward grip the light provides gives me only slightly more leverage than a lower grip.
I actually thought a low grip would give me more torque to prevent the bore axis from rising but apparently not.
What I have found if you wana run your gun like a demigod, you either need to put 1000's of rounds in towards training to get the muscle memory in like this guy, or you need a manageable caliber, OR you need a very tricked out gun..
So many subtle things to think about and try out when shooting pistols. It's a journey!
I think I commented this before who knows I like watching the video again
A professional is somebody that gets paid to do something. They don’t have to do it good they just have to perform the work and they get paid.
You, my friend in my book are an expert defined as( a person who has comprehensive or author of knowledge of a skill or particular area) .
Yep, that’s you 💯❤️🇺🇸
This is awesome. 😎
This is how I grip also and I’m teaching my wife the same way. I have the qvo thumb cliff on the way and I’m stoked to have a solid place to put my thumb
Amazing video and you are pro!!!
Right wrong if your hitting the target its right for you
Thanks for this video
I think you have to see the target to hit it. I saw some things way out there, but I couldn't tell what they were! Great shootin parner!!!
Nice vid bruh. Lotta wind out there ...
Even without a flashlight I grip sort of like that. That's how I found out I could bump fire a p80 build
Another great tutorial on grip techniques. Have you had any experiences with AAC ammo or any opinion on it? Thank you
A couple months ago I purchased a Bul SAS II UL because of this channel. One of the best firearms purchases I’ve made. Considering selling my Staccato to fund another Bul. Thank you!
It’s insanely good right?! 😂 I love that little thing
@@PewView well, I’m not a 1911/2011 cork-sniffer and don’t have a lot to compare to, but it is incredibly accurate, reliable and crazy good EDC.
The flared mag well has make a huge difference in my shooting. Unfortunately the aftermarket for FN is a bit more expensive and harder to find than for Glock. But it's well worth it.
Also found that a suppressor helps a lot.
The flashlight also adds some weight up front.
Really great video about recoil management 🔥
I'm wondering about general accuracy though
Do you have any tips on getting more accurate when taking shots, like staying steady or controlling your breath ?
It's been a year and a half i first saw your videos and still amazed by your skills
Nice, I use a similar grip on my 3.25 lightweight 45. If I can do it on a compact 45, you can do it on a full size, ported 9.
I have a pistol I'm pretty confident at 500 yards ( but it is a 10.5 inch 6.5 grendal) 😉
U a beast bro!!!!
Hott dayum that bit is sweeeet
Im going to try your grip in just a bit
SERIOUSLY BRO! UPSIDE DOWN! FOR REAL! YA KILLING ME SMALLS!
this guy is the John Stamos of guns. flawless
With anyone else, this shit would be impossible. Fuckin' get it, man.
For those of you who don't like the “high up” support hand grip see Mason Lane’s video on grip.
Had to get the tack pack
I need a lefty video 😅😂 I have tried but I guess I need to keep practicing
Ive been using these techniques since the last video and it works. I found it pretty comfortable. I have shot 500yrds with a 115gr. I challenged a couple months ago, can you hit that steel? 12", i drew, raised and aimed high enogh i couldnt see the target and rang steel first shot. Holstered, and walked away. Never tried again.
You should get a hit light like Caldwell sells. Long range guys use them on steel.
Not a bad idea
I honestly am just excited to see BUL starting to role these out. I've been competing with a modified Prodigy, and I would like to carry a platform that lets me use the dame manual of arms. I like my P365XL build, and with the Wilson grip it is similar to a 1911 grip angle, but I would still like to have something that comes as close to my competition as possible without weighing as much.
PS. Everyone is talking about BUL, and they are essentially unobtanium.
Bul is an Israeli company and Israel is in a war, it's understandable they aren't prioritizing this right now, however, their website does note that that is supposed to be changing soon.
Wilson combat does make the EDC X9 in a 3.25" and of course Staccato does have the CS with a 3.5" barrel.
DSC can do V6 or V8 style porting if you like that, I have their V6 porting on my Bul Ultralight.
They also have a drop in barrel with compensator for the Staccato guns if you want a compensator instead.
Maybe another Prodigy in 4.25 with something like the Chunk port done by monsoon or skips guns, have the action and trigger worked over, that may be another way to get a great flat shooting carry rig that's not too big.
Dude in the semi....here's tomorrows ammo
That would be nice 😂
Pro gamer moves
@pewview try your method with a Beretta left handed and see if you have the same problem I am having. It will be unique to the Berettas.
Sir @PewView, how do you do a "High Left Hand without touching the Slide? In order to avoid malfunctions, that is.
A more detailed tutorial on that part will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
BUL has been my favorite 2011 brand for a while. My SAS II viper is amazing. Wish i went with the compact grip module instead of the 19 rounder. They dont sell lowers or grip modules so id have to buy a whole new gun.
My reply isn't showing...
They do sell the grip modules or whatever one wants to call them, a few months back I bought the full size tac grip and I have that on my ultralight right now.
Just watch out for the scam website, if the website asks you to pay with bitcoin or similar, run away.
But Bul Armory does have a legitimate website and they do sell the grips.
*As an aside, the compact grip sold right now is not the newest version that will be on the newest ultralights. Just so you know.
@@calling4life dude you rock. I really really appreciate it. I'll look but could you send a link?
Do it with an artillery Luger
I'm sure you've considered this, but use a cell linked to a cell your spotter is looking at. It's not organically fluid, but it's as close as you're going to get without a 100x scope and a spotter
Don't think I have seen any of your stuff previously. Liked and subscribed!
Do you farm? Just curious by looking at your range.
I am curious about how you manage your RED DOT. That is I see you shoot rapid fire, something from the draw. Can you make a video ON WHAT DO YOU SEE WHEN DOING SO? Is it centered? Where are you aiming to? Are you just point and shooting? Thanks
I also have a video about finding your red dot!
Because for half the price you can get a stealth arms and it takes Glock mags
Watching this, I now feel vindicated
newbie here sir. i just bought my first pistol (glock). looks very smooth and soft when racking your gun slide or when you chamber check?. how to do that? what to upgrade? TIA
And now they will never be in stock again. Thanks.
Ive done 500-600yrd pistol shot, shooting down a creek could see impacts because of the water and walked it into a 5gal bucket target aiming at a piont at the top of the trees did it in two mags
Without the water allowing me to see impacts it would of never happened
Can you expand more on point shooting? I’ve been practicing at the range. Let’s just say I got a long way to go.
Thats exactly how i hold my pistol i always thought i had one finger under the trigger guard but i have smaller hands so i noticed i shift unintentionally to 2 under the guard i can actually fit 3 fingers under the guard and it feels alright im going to attempt it at the range this shud be interesting 😅
Make a video testing the hk 416d!!
Saludos amigo buenisimo
Bro… have you seen your armory!!! you’re better than a professional. I hope to see you at TOP SHOT soon
Theres a guy down there with a gong
Can you be honest here? Are you putting in a softer spring in these? Subsonic ammo? The rate of fire and recoil seems off. Im not jelly or anything. Just trying to make sense of what im seeing. And you, I know you do this more a living and have tons of experience.
I run a lot of lighter springs in 2011s because that’s what they are made to run, but that doesn’t affect recoil impulse much. Full power 115 or 124 grain factory ammo. Just good guns and a good grip
Why no one’s talking about BUL because their pricing skyrocketed due to TH-cam reviews ! Also not like they’re easy to get. For that price I’ll buy a Staccato. American 🇺🇸
Maaaan youre just showing off agaaaain
I've always felt more natural with that index finger over the trigger guard and always have people tell me im wrong😅🤦♂️
Do you do competition shooting
I wish I had a local place to shoot 100 yards. I couldn’t imagine having 500 yards to shoot
If you’re shooting a sig dasa gun in carry optics the high grip don’t work so well☹️
You use the flashlight practically.
Get your boy outlaw out there with a scope to help… 🤷♂️. Great video as always.
He’s tried with me 300+ times 😂
@@PewView 😂. Definitely no easy task! Glad to hear yall are putting in the work though! Tell outlaw he could do it with a TSO.. 😉
Is it true that this porting get corrosion in the long-term due to powder residue getting stuck even with cleaning? Thanks for your answer
Not really, as long as you keep it clean they are fine
On thing you need to look out for with ported barrels is cracking around the ports. If you start to notice any inconsistent groupings or wild flyers you might have a crack barrel. Just inspect your barrel about every thousand rounds or so.
Now don’t be going after Jerry M, excellent as always, thanks buddy
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard some gwot fudd scream about this grip being “wrong”
Sometimes the critiques are warranted for good reason. Safety cannot be compromised, however grip and stance have changed so many times over the years I refuse to believe there’s any “golden rule”
Actually I take that back. There is actually a golden rule:
Train your ass off at least once a week. If you want to reach this chads level it’s the only way 🤙🏼
Something he forgot to mention, you lose last round slide lock when you hold with support hand that high.
Just a minor trade off imo
Yes, you also need to learn to count your rounds 😂
@PewView where do you get so much ammo from?
I can't even see that far
where did you get your training
Have you shot the CZ shadow 2 compact?
"Not a professional" MY ASS, lol
🔥🔥🔥
All that in the box? They partnered with Canik? 😂 Canik really the only company that gives us the whole shooter package with a gun purchase lol.
Manage recoil... 500 yard pistol shot. Ok, heard the part about blind squirrel n the nut. Do it three times in a row. Your very good. I've told you this B4.
3 in row, 500 yards, no edits 🤠
No chance 😂
All righty then 🤣😂🤠
No one is talking about Bul Armory because they are really difficult to get in the US unless you want to pay 50% markup on gunbroker and hardly anyone is selling them because they are great 2011s
Israeli company and Israel is at war, priorities are liable to be elsewhere, but, their website does note that pistols are "coming soon."
Just watch out for scam websites, if they want you to pay with bitcoin or other weird methods, run away.
Good luck, I have an Ultralight with the V6 porting, it's very quick, and really accurate given it's a small 3.25" gun.
What do you even sight it in at to hit 500 with a pistol?
Pls make video on the shadow cr920X
Get the new bul ultralight pro with v6 ports
Do what works for you. What works for him may or may not work for you. You just need time behind a gun to learn how you control recoil the best
I'm no professional golfer but gripping a handgun right probably feels as weird as getting a golf grip correct. I hover around 80 actually keeping score correctly after decades of working on it. Good golf grip feels terrible at first but next thing you know you're not duck hooking into someone's house off the tee.
