RØDE Interview PRO : Review & Full Tutorial

The Interview Pro is the latest Mic to be released in Røde's growing wireless lineup and offers a professional look and feel that will certainly elevate your in person interviews.

I would have expected (and appreciated) a device that connects to an XLR handheld mic adding wireless, onboard recording etc. But they chose to make a standalone mic. And with a standalone reporter mic, I would have preferred to have a selection of polarbpatters... Cardioid, omni, figure-eight, super/hypercardioid. Would have made more sense.

Is it me or does the interview pro sounds better than the normal mic you have, wish it was dynamic rather than omni

A piss poor design for journalists who want to use a mic flag. Also, the USB c connector is in an awful place. I don't want to have the mic untwisted and a cable sticking out half way up the mic on video for podcasts. Also, a cardioid option should be offered. Making people just use omni is not good. Come on Rode.
