Hey Guys The name on Miyagi's passport "Keisuke Miyagi ' in his secret box was how Miyagi was introduced in the opening scene of " The Next Karate Kid" when he receives his medal of honor( the one Hawk stole) at the WWII ceremony. This is the connection to bring Julie Pierce ( Hillary Swank) back. Julie's grandfather being war buddies with Miyagi, and she learning Miyagi Do as a young child from him makes it a most worthy Miyagi connection. I know know you guys are down on the film, but perhaps worth revisiting. I found Julie Pierce's fighting more fluid and loose than both Daniel & Johnny in KK. Hillary Swank is a natural athlete. No wonder Clint Eastwood cast her in Million Dollar Baby, which she won both an Oscar & Golden Globe. BTW The Alpha Elite Arc in The Next KK was absolutely absurd but Julie & Miyagi's relationship & The Monks make it worth checking. Pierce is supposed to appear in the final 5 episodes.
When Daniel was going to stop Kwon from killing, I thought for a second, Kwon was going to accidently kill Daniel. That would've been shocking and sad.
Honestly. If it weren’t for the karate kid movie next year already being announced. I would’ve thought that too. But I did think he was gonna get stabbed. But still. Crazy ass ending to part 2
The fight between Axel and Robbie was a call back to Rocky 4 when Drago was pulling his punches until his coach yelled at him and then he started to beat Apollo to death.
Just for your information, Jacob Bertrand (Hawk) started learning karate when he was 8. He has the violet belt. Tanner Buchanan (Robby) started learning Taekwondo when he was 11 and later on got into Muay Thai. William Zabka has the green belt in Tang Soo Do and Thomas Ian Griffith and Martin Kove are the martial arts experts with the latter even having the black belt. I also read that Tanner Buchanan got so good, that he doesn’t need a stunt double anymore. Don't know if it's true, but if it is then that's pretty impressive. Many of them are not just actors that learned a bit Karate for the show.😊
Everyone was in total shock of how 10 ended. Was just EPIC!! I've said since watching it that the writers and choreographer should get Oscars for what they've done and given us. It's just been brilliant from beginning to almost the end. Cobra Kai is amazing and I am so glad it was made. Not so sure how the new KK film will be, I just hope it'll be as good.
40:48 the Iron Dragon's are from Hong Kong. 46:54 I saw a video with a guy that worked with Brandon H. Lee and said the kicks he's capable of are even more than what we saw on the show. Both he and Rayna are taekwando champions.
At the beginning of the 10th Episode they are talking about the Miyagi fight that ended in death. Johnny say, “You heard what Braun said, people died in those days.” “Maybe it was just a freak accident.” Guess what Kwon’s death was a freak accident.
Still tension with Miyagi-do in eps8 seems some resisted temptation, while others gave in to it, glad Devon owned up to Kenny & he came & kicked ass in tournament & won them a round! the look of relief on your faces when Miguel's mum was ok & loved your reactions to her "win" line & Terry being back! & Quinn's stabby gesture at 35:48 touching moment of Miyagi-do FINALLY on same page & liked the energy of those fight rounds in eps9, music really added to atmosphere, "we finally beat Kreese, well I beat him in my 1st tournament, don't make me hit you" great line & reactions from you there, we all knew Cobra Kai would make it back somehow in eps10, great pep talk by Miguel to Lawrence & La Russo, I'm so glad that Quinn noticed Robbie's F1 Jacket too! ^_^ & rubbing his hands at 1:13:35 that final fight scene turned into total chaos, but outstanding to watch! Surprised they didn't recognise Britt Baker on the Russian Team 😮 & total shock seeing Kwon land on Kreese's blade! Can't wait to see what happens next! Quinn & Oak just let your passion/love for this show flow free! As I LOVE seeing your reactions/discussions & how invested you are in the series, always puts a big smile my face 😊 Oak's right about it being a nice, warm comfort blanket wrapped round ya watching, I LOVE THIS SHOW & YOUR REACTIONS/ INTAKES FOR IT SO MUCH! 💚💙❤️😁
I remember when my dad had me and my cousin watch the karate kid for the first time, we absolutely loved it!! Even had our own karate matches in the living room😂😂😂
Nah Cobra Kai is awesome! I’m in my mid 30’s, so had seen the movies like once when I was small, but this show has brought me back into them and tbh I’d fangirl if any of the actors were at our version of comic con.
Part 3 drops February 13th then we'll get karate kid Legends on March 25th in theaters. I don't know when the yogi prequels spin-off is but will be but I think that the actor that they got to play Young miyagi is going to be the guy.
You should watch some of the interviews with the creators on TH-cam to get some of the background on how this was made. Also Terry’s lawyer is Hayden Schlossberg one of the creators.
Amazing vid. If you guys want a movie to watch I recommend the movie a silent voice. (It’s an anime movie and trust when I say it worth the watch and more)
they really had a kid die tho on the show my god, he didn’t deserve to die tho. they need to hurry and release the other episodes already. axel didn’t know he had the dagger so he didn’t do shit wrong. it’s on kreese for bringing a knife there to begin with. actually i’m pretty sure robbie was SA’d cause he didn’t remember anything, she pretty much knew and took advantage of that. if that’s what they’re going for.
I differ on the writing. They pressed the conflict too hard, or maybe the details. Robby losing just because of head turns made him lose the character he developed, Demitri seems just plain dumb and adds nothing to the team, Kreese suddenly becoming stabby stabby assassin?
@@HABO2210 yeah I saw an interview they did with the actor that played Axel and he decided to incorporate it cuz it's part of his background. I think it was on CKN (Cobra Kai Nation).
this is completely off the topic of cobra kai, but i highly recommend the mighty ducks series that came out in the late 90s! cobra kai definitely takes inspo from that movie franchise and it’s really good. also, the sekai taikai host, gunther was the iceland coach in mighty ducks 2! ❤

I heavily disagree with the writing decision that Johnny beats terry lmao. Terry beats Daniel and johnny if it weren’t for plot and wolf is a problem damn. No one beats the main iron dragons but I guess they will for the story

8,9 and 10 are the best episodes of the series so far.
not even close.
Somewhere very close to the bottom of the list.

The way season 6 was like the epitome of “shit hitting the fan.” Even the sensei’s were not above taking their anger out on one another.
"You don't want to see me angry" is a retro 70s hulk reference.
Glad you guys put all these together 🔥🔥🔥
Kreese and Silver haven't heard a scream like that since Vietnam
Best fighting to date. School was great but this fight awesome
40:48 the Iron Dragon's are from Hong Kong. 46:54 I saw a video with a guy that worked with Brandon H. Lee and said the kicks he's capable of are even more than what we saw on the show. Both he and Rayna are taekwando champions.

48:40 the gasp and the way The Oak said “DeAthh” was like he was personally affected by a massive revelation😂
They didn’t notice the Russian lady was Britt Baker 😂💀😭😭
The brawl was a great way to naturally have different pairs fighting at once. It worked well imo
Kim with her hair down. Good lord ❤️. Get it Chosen
Didn’t know she was fine shit 🙇
12:50
"My Sensei is kicking me twice as hard than that before breakfast to motivate me" - Axel probably
Kim lied when she told Tory it was worth it.
Can't wait to see Miguel humble Axel in PART 3.
Dream on

The Iron Dragons have fighters from across the world. I think it was suggested in a previous episode. Axel maybe Russian or at least Czech.
Oak corrected it in their 6x9 wrap up. Posted my comment before I got there. lol
Axel is definitely slavic but not russian. Krovachovich is not a russian name
@@eddiekoleno2291 Good point. Parts in Eastern Russia is considered slavic as well but read that the character is most likely Bosnian or Croatian.

Totally a male reaction video I love these guys 😂
Even if thetournament goes on, Idon't know how they will beat the Iron dragons.
40:16 I think that the Hulk quote might’ve been a reference to Martin Cove being in an episode of The Incredible Hulk series
Dennis Guzman in real life is a 10th degree Okinawan shorin ryu master. Check out 52 Masters.
I know Andrew Garfield is getting his life after season 6 dropped.😂😂
Insane finale excited for the last part
I knew someone was going to die this part but I didn’t know who and i definitely didn’t expect one of the kids. Can’t wait for the aftermath
Kreese will prob get into trouble for bringing the knife and losing it for a student to use. Who knows...bring on Feb 13th ❤
Idk if you’ve already seen it but you all should watch 12 Angry Men (1957) it’s very deep
Did I miss the Miguel Robby pep talk? Or was it cut?

Iron Dragons are from Hong Kong, not Russia.
If the editor reads this by any chance. Please Don't edit the video they are reacting to in an oval it's really annoying
The Oval helps avoid a lot of things. TH-cam has a hard time detecting. We have seen what works and what doesn't work. We will keep with what works.
