I bought one. There are better options for this price point. It does feel good in the hand, however the action is pretty bad. I also own a rat 1 and feel it’s a better knife for half the price.
I wish they would stop etching “CH1N4” on their budget knives. It’s not exactly a selling point. In fact, I’d be more likely to buy them if they weren’t labeled as such.
this is basically the same as the efficient; people wanted bigger and smaller versions, happens a lot. examples: dragonfly, delica, endela, endura bug, honeybee, grasshopper para, paramilitary, military ladybug, manbug etc. But yeah, there are a lot of similar designs.
Nice budget option from Spyderco ! Great review , thanks for sharing !
Is this also made at the Sanrenmu factory?
Reminds me of the native chief! Solid budget option from spyderco
Plz compare the Tenacious. The Tena was my first Spyie & I liked it alot. I'm in the market now & I'm thinking twice.
I don't think the discount code works for Spydercos anymore.

@Etc Tex i have the emphasis, agree with this, tuf-glide helps the action a little, but its still iffy
Mine has great action
Washers are plastic... not phosphor bronze... which disappointed me a bit. Thanks for the vid!

Perhaps I'm not nuanced enough with Spyderco, but isn't this the same knife over and over and over again?
