A few tid bits that might help getting the most out of / prevent overuse of healing word. If the initial heal crits then all of it's HoT ticks will be crits as well (even if duration is extended by the feat.) If the party is willing to wait, you can keep casting it at the begining of a run (or in between enemy encounters) until it crits and then just keep it up indefinitely from there with the feat. You won't be in combat so it won't take long to restore your divinity if it takes a few casts. Also, the periodic heal from hallowed ground procs the extended duration feat so healing word will actually gain duration and likely be full when HG ends. If not already up, casting HW whenever you use HG isn't a bad idea. Last, with decent outgoing healing%, healing word is pretty much a guaranteed 10 stacks of butcher's might (ebony stained hide/ebonized scalemail) as long as you have it up on ~3 or 4 players/companions. Even if all are fully healed when it ticks, it will still proc the armor. This works outside of combat as well.
One thing that is worth mentioning is that divine glow also cut your threat by half. So if you're being gangbanged by mobs because your tank is kinda crappy in aggro stuff, it is a good skill to use.
100% right about the Healing word! I use it only on the Worm in lomm, because its sometimes tricky to cast exaltation there, since it has a long cooldown and a shorter activeness (is that a word? :D) I feel like HW is utilized better there. Very important to swap powers, yes! I use Daunting Light to help the mimic fight and after they finish - switch back to Glowing again. Thank you for the tip for Blessing and Action points :) Great video! Clerics RuLZ! :D

Defintely do this for Soulweaver! I used to play cleric exclusively for healing not too far back in the past, but nowadays, I find it difficult to consider going back to cleric after I realized the potential soulweaver has due to not struggling with divinity and needing a targeted power for full healing potential and you can heal all day long if aggro is kept off you! Not to mention the cleanse warlock has is also far easier to use than any other healer.
Still relevant. I started using the Perfect Balance feat just recently and I thought, now why does it look like those tiny little icons build the wrong thing for the power that I cast, but, given the info at the end of this, it makes sense. It's a teeter-totter. Muchas Gracias.
I just started playing today and I'll definitely be coming back to this when I become a Devout. Now I just need friends to play with so I can heal them 😅
wow... My healer was made 4 months ago, I was looking for some helps for improve my playable...you are simply the best that I found in this week!!! Sub your channel and follow you, thank you sooooooooo much!!! now I want to watch your build, thanks thanks thanks!!!
Hi yall A little tip i use alot when playing the cleric has a healer Is mostly if you use a spell that doesnt have A CD Exemple Healing word you can cast this spell in the MIDDLE of the combat press ALT rigt click that same power and switch it for a other useful one ( Exemple intercession with a cd of 25 sec or so ) meaning only 5 sec less than the normal duration of Healing word... That just 1 exemple with many other situation
Hey silver, love the videos! I had a question, because finding information on all this stuff makes my head spin sometimes: What companions do you suggest for Devout? I saw someone say slot all 5 outgoing healing, and that sounds good, but then people say to have Deepcrow Hatchling for the +8000 Power, and another said just use Deepcrow Hatch as the summoned and ANOTHER said use Polar Bear Cub as the summoned. It scrambles my brain. I love clerics thematically and all, and my cleric was my first NWO char so I'll never let her die haha.
@@Silv3ry That's really helpful, thanks! I'm just starting to try and gear up my cleric properly, I started playing again just before m16 dropped so my gear and knowledge was about 4 years out of date haha (I just hit 22k IL a month ago!). I should get three of the outgoing heal over the next couple days and will just see how that goes. Thanks again!
Yeah it looks friggin' awesome...I think I did a pug with her a little while back and remember thinking 'Ok if I HAD to do some Fashionwinter, I'd want sumin' like that!!' :)
Just looked at the market, for me on console those boots are sitting around 1m AD give or take a few thousand. I'll be saving up for that next, my companion will understand why he cant have 15 runestones when he sees me walking around in my boots!
Silvery! How can a lone warden get inside a guild of yours or just come along to join dungeon runs. Cause i made it to 21k gs and tomm is a pain with pugs most of the time ((
@Hellena Rose sry my bad. I always mess em up in my head. Not TOMM but LOMM. LOMM is the one i run with pugs. Cause TOMM is an epic trial and i still need my 24k to even enter it.
I am returning to this game after about a year or more, would you say i should? If not, are there other rpg games you would recommend? I quit mostly cuz even though the game encourages you to make several characters, i just got bored doing every single quest again and again for each character I made, and it got too repetitive.
There is a new game called blessing unleashed coming out sometime this year. I quit neverwinter after they changed the clerics controls and can't seem to get back into it. But I played the beta for bless unleashed it has potential !
